Sending It In (Open Challenge)

*Takes Place February 18th, The TAKEDOWN Premiere*

The ubiquitous pyrotechnics flas all across the stage and over the ring as XWA TakeDown makes it's debut over the air waves. The fans packed the house to the rafters to welcome in The New Day that is the XWA.

Suddenly, the sound of the tune "Combat" by The Deftones blasts over the PA, and the first man to appear on XWA Programming is the man known as "The Power". Marcus Samson, independent phenom turned XWA Combatant makes his first walk to the XWA ring wearing his own independently merchandised "SAMSONATION" T-Shirt, of which can be seen throughout the crowd. He steps into the ring and takes a mic to address the world at large. He begins with his usual introduction...

WELL...

Allow me to introduce myself. For those who don't know...my name is MARCUS...SAMSON. Who am I, you ask? Take a look around, and ask anyone in the SamsoNation who the hell I am, and they'll tell you.

I'm a ONE MAN WRECKING CREW!!! I'm the REAL GOODS. I...am...THE POWER!!!

I'm not out here to jaw-jack or trash talk, folks. I'm here to get down to business...the business that goes down in this...very...ring. This is the WORLD PREMEIRE of XWA TAKEDOWN, right?

The crowd chants "YEAH!!!"

You came to see some action, right?

"YEAH!!!"

Then, let's get somebody back there who wants to feel THE POWER out here, right now!!! C'mon...anyone...ANYONE in the back who wants to step in the ring with THE strongest man in pro wrestling today, c'mon down. We don't have all night...

He lowers his mic and waits for a response, then somebody's music hits...

[tiger]

That music is "Payback" by the late, great James Brown. The lights in the arena change to a flashing orange as several large black men steps out on stage, dressed in all black. From behind them walks none other than Tiger Jackson, decked out in one of his flashy tiger-skinned suits. He's got a "Ho" in each arm, and his "accountant" Farnsworth right beside him (he's coming around soon), who hands Tiger a microphone.

Marcus Samson? SamsoNation? I...am...THE POWER??? Yo, yo, yo, yo, YOOOO!!! Check this foo' out, ya'll? Home-slice, you are straight outta "Rock 'N Wrestling", man. You think that these people pay to see...YOU? Nah, Nah, Nah, home-bread...this ain't about you, dog.

This is...MY HOUSE. You heard me...Tiger Jackson is the KING OF NEW YORK SEE-TAY. And if you don't know, you better ask somebody. See, I seen you wrassle, home-skillet...and I ain't impressed. Yeah you big and scrong...whicha 'lil "Samson Lock", but you ain't puttin' that on me homey. Imma be dancin' all over you before you even get the chance, sucka!

[samson]

Tell...tell me something there, Tiger.
Where DO you get those ladies from, man? I mean...I wanna come out flocked by a couple of video chicks and big, burly guys to watch my back like I'm some VIP or something, too!

Samson starts to laugh hard in the center of the ring, slapping his knee as he does. Tiger was stylin', yes...but a bit cliche as well.

Besides, somebody walking around witta suit like that really can say much to anyone about anything, now can they. What is that, velvet???

[tiger]

Velvet? nigga...

Tiger is stuttering, staggering and agitated by Samson's crack...the enotourage is getting ansy as well.

Only the finest silks touch my skin, farm-boy, and the finest ladies as well...more than I can say for some shagged out 80's wrestling reject. Where's your sword at, "He-Man"?

[samson]

The crowd makes an "ooooh" sound. Samson himself looks around with a "this guys got nerve" look in his face.

Hey, uh...Tiger. You know something, I got a call from the 70's, brotha...they want their gimmick back. Oh, and tell Lenny Kravitz too. It's the new millenuim for Christ's sake, cut your hair and put on something that doesn't make my eyes BURN!!! Jeez...

[tiger]

Oh...HEEEELLLLLSSSS NO!!!
Tiger looks back at his entourage. Then smirks as he points in Samson's direction.

You...you know what? We gon' do this, playa! We gon' do it TONIGHT!!! And with style and grace, these people...are gonna watch me dance all over yo' face. Holla back...Conan!

[samson]

Sounds like we have ourselves a match then, Jackson. Right here tonight, you're gonna FEEL THE POWER. I suggest that you leave your little kliq in the back, I don't wanna be repsonsible for them seeing you get your ass kicked.

LET'S GET IT ON!!!

"Combat" fires up over the PA again as Samson points in Tiger's direction. Both can be heard saying inaudible things as the camera fades to black.
