Another Shot (invite)

[Romeo Davis]

The night had continued on as the crowd was very much enjoying the show that the XWA had been putting on for them. Takedown had just come back from a commercial break when Jay-Z’s "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" began to play throughout the arena. The crowd within the MGM Grand Garden Arena rose to their feet and began to cheer. Romeo stepped out onstage already in his ring attire in front of all the fans. He raised his arms up as pyro burst from the stage. He continued his ring walk down the ramp and into the ring via the steel steps. He jogs to one side of the ring, bounces off the rope, smacks the ground with his hands followed by throwing his arms up in the air once again with this time the pryo bursting from the ring posts. Romeo is then handed a microphone in which he holds down by his side for a moment as he looks throughout the crowd. He removes the shades that covered his eyes and raised the microphone up to his mouth. For a moment he waited but then he began to speak.

"So here we are in the great Las Vegas, Nevada. I have to tell ya that it feels great to be here. Being in a wrestling business that travels all over surely has its benefits. But yea, lemme start off with something someone said a little earlier tonight. He said something ‘bout him being the only factor there is. Nah Ryan, you can call yourself The Blaze Factor but you got nothing on The RD Factor bro. If ya can’t take it then why don’t ya so something ‘bout it sometime. I’ll be glad to show ya who the true factor is my man. We all know who the fans believe the true factor is am I right?"

The crowd burst into cheers as an "RD Factor" chant began.

"Nah but seriously y’all I didn’t come out here to address that. I came out here cause there is a man that I wanted another shot at. I know y’all know who that man is too. I am sick and tired of beating Godlieve Van Der Sar and it’s time that I move on to bigger and better things. Yea, I know y’all know what I’m talking ‘bout. Primo I want another shot at you in this very ring tonight. I know ya have been in the World title picture for a while but now you’re out of it. Now there are no excuses for you not to take me on one on one. It’s time that I get my second chance at beating you Primo. Come on, let’s go. I don’t have all night to stand here and wait for ya. I’m already in my wrestling gear so I’m ready for the match to begin right now so let’s do this."

Suddenly Romeo’s words are broken up by someone’s theme music. Down in the ring Romeo is angered and shakes his head because he knew that it wasn’t Primo’s music. Romeo stood there in the ring waiting for this man to step out onstage.

Into the arena comes a visibly angered GVDS. With mic in tow, he wastes little time in his response.

You're TIRED of beating me? ME!!! Listen you insignificant little toad, I know not of how, or even why you've been lucky enough to beat me, but that luck ends NOW. Primo has better things to do then soil his hands with you, but not I. I intend on soiling my hands with your BLOOD. I've allowed you to think so highly of yourself long enough. Tonight, I show you the errors of your ways. I show you that complacency breeds weakness. You're tired of beating me are you? Good. Because I vow that you've won your last match against me. As you American's say "The gloves are off." The bitter taste of defeat awaits you, fool. Savor it, for it'll be a flavor you have stuck in you mouth for a long time.

He lowers his mic and waits for the reaction.

Romeo lifts the microphone back up to his mouth.

"Ya know I had a feeling that when I called out Primo that you would come out here Godlieve. Ya just keeping coming back for more don’t ya. Ya just can’t accept the fact that I have beaten you yet again at Independence Day. Stop calling this luck that I have been having cause clearly both you and I know that it isn’t man. Ya can’t keep saying that you are letting me win. I have beaten you fair and square each and every time. I do gotta admit that our last match was interesting cause it went back in forth. For that I thank you for the match, but like I said before it is time for me to move on to a bigger goal."

Romeo lowers the microphone down to his side as he waits for a response from GVDS.
