As Tego Calderon's "Wasa Wasa" plays, into the arena comes New York's own Pablo Reyes. The fans come to there feet as the reigning X-Gen Champion makes a triumphant home coming.
Tony: What a resounding welcome home for young Pablo Reyes.
Willy: He must be butta', cuz the boy's on a role.
Pablo makes his way to the ring, and calls for a mic. He was interested in one thing tonight...
It's good to be back home. Back in front of the greatest fans in the world. And it's damn good to be standing in this ring still X-Gen Champ. Saizo? I've got nothin' but respect for you, man. You're one of the best in the biz, and no one can ever dispute that. But why I'm out here isn't that. It's to address another native New Yorker. One who last week won himself a shot at the X-Gen Title. One who's been rolling the last month and a half. And that man is Brian Yang.
The crowd boos the man who seemed to have turn his back on the fans that once adored him.
There's no disputing that you're a bad man. One of the best pure strikers in the game. But I'm not phased. I'm not intimidated. And to prove it? I say we do this TONIGHT. You won a title shot fair and square. And I'm in a fightin' mood tonight. So if you want it? COME AND GET IT!!!
A fire up Pablo waits for the response of Brian Yang.

Brian Yang steps out into the arena with a smirk on his face. The fans boo as he stands at the stage, looking down the ramp at the champion. Yang doesn't mince his words in his response.
Pablo, my man. You just don't get it, do you? You don't get the fact that everything that's happened so far has be preordained. Me beating the crap out of Jeff Heaven. Me winning the 4 way elimination match last week. It's all been just as planned, just like tonight will be. Sad to say, but the honeymoon is over. You've managed to beat Jimmy Ames for that title, then Saizo for it a 2nd time, and defend it against him as well. Pretty impressive. But where Saizo and Ames end, I only begin. I'm the PREMIERE Junior in XWA, no one can even come close to denying it. I'm the total package. Speed, skill, technique, power, agility. Face it, Pablo. You just don't stack up. And you really want a piece of me tonight? You've got more guts then brains, but I'll tell you what you won't have after I'm done. The X-Gen Title, that's what.
The brash Brian Yang waits for the response.

Pablo responds.
Is that right? You know, it's nice to set goals for yourself. It really is. But it's a damn shame when ya' don't reach them. When ya' fall juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust short of the target. You might thing your tha' hotness, Yang. But you've gotta be me 1st before you can make that claim. You can talk up being the "premiere" junior in XWA. But I'm the X-Gen Champ. And in being that, I beat two guys who I, and damn near everyone else in the biz would put just a lil' higher on the food chain then you. So before you go on runnin' that yap of yours, let's see you back ya' words up in ring. There's no doubt that you're good. My questions is are you good enough. I guess we'll find that one out, won't we?

Brian speaks an interesting reply.
Am I good enough? I'll tell you what, "Champ". Let's measure how good I am tonight by the literal "Ladder Of Success". Yea, that's right, a LADDER MATCH. Unless of course that's a little to high above the curve for you that is?
Grinning all the way, Brian waits for Pablo's answer.

Pablo wasted not a single second in answering the challenge.
You're ON.
The fans respond with a floor shaking cheer.

Still giving a cocky grin, Brian speaks a final retort.
I guess that settles it then. And good luck to you tonight, Champ. Something tells me you're going to need it.
Brian lowers his mic and gives Pablo a final stare before turning and heading backstage.

As Yang left the stage, Pablo knew that he was going to have to go all out tonight. This match favored neither man. It would come down to who wanted it more. Pablo was poised to show that he was that man.
The End.
