***Safe Home by Anthrax played through the PA system of Madison Square Garden, Kim was back in New York City, and this was were some of her greatest matches had taken place. Now she'd hope to put on another great show and put to rest anyone that got in her way. Sliding in the ring, the Sapphire Title on her shoulder and a microphone in her left hand she threw up her fists and the crowd roared.***
NEW YORK CITY, I know that you guys missed me.....without Kim I mean it's pretty boring around here. Admit it, but you know what else has been pretty boring lately......the rest of the Diamond division.......even the so called Diamonds that are in the hunt for the "BIG" title.
Honestly, pfft, not that impressed......
It doesn't matter which Diamond it is from them to the new girls, you put me in that ring and its over, now some of you may be doubting me going "but Kim ya haven't done that well by yourself this year, lets face it, you know why because I faced the same god damn opponent a billion and a half times......and well you figure that you'd broaden out after just kicking but meh, who am I to argue ??"
You see I am able to go toe to toe with any Diamond and still pull out the win, so which one of you wants it ??.....
***Kim awaited what she figured would be a short and fast response considering the amount of Diamonds***

Into MSG steps the 280lbs. beast of a woman, flanked by someone new. A slender Asian woman. She wore the traditional garb of a Geisha. While all wondered who this woman was, she would soon shed light on their curiosity*
Kim Hunter. You speak of not being impressed. Well the feeling is most definitely mutual. Bull Nagano does not see where all of the hype of you being such a "Legend" and "Pioneer" comes from. All she sees is an under achieving American lout.

Or are you? In fact, you coming out here and issuing an open challenge serves our purpose perfectly. As we get to see what you're made of one on one, before Bull Nagano and Helena Troy take the Sapphire Titles off of you. Think of it as a scouting match. Tonight, Bull Nagano will see with her own eyes, and her own fists if you are indeed the weakest link of The Diamond Devils. In fact, we'll even give you the option to choose whatever kind of match you want. Anything to give you a fighting chance against the strongest woman in the WORLD!!!

This is the typical response I would expect from anyone who is not familiar with me, these brief run ins I've had this year and anyone who thinks that I am the weakest Diamond is truly unprepared for what they are about to face.
You mentioned the words "Legend" and "Pioneer" when you thought of me first, but then you thought otherwise Ms. Nagano, well I will prove to you that I am not the weak link of the Diamond Devils that you link me to be, I am in fact just as well trained and skilled as my partner Hayley, and you've just stepped into a shithole......
***Kim laughed***
So as far as you scouting me out for the Sapphire Title I'm wearing over my shoulder here, so that you and Helena can try and take it....we'll be waiting for you eventually then, won't we ??
As for right now, looks like I'm gonna have to put you down.........

It would seem that Bull Nagano is amused by you. She thinks that you are "A funny little American Girl". You should feel honored. Most women who she's about to annihilate don't get her good favor. But be that as it may, we await your choice of match. Or do you choose to ruin her mood with another tired American tirade?

She's amused with me.....well first off she should know before calling me a little AMERICAN girl that I am a little IRISH girl, I'm from Dublin....but I digress Ms. Nagano. You want the match that we're gonna have come Independance Day, alright then, you want to prove that I AM THE WEAKEST LINK of the Diamond Devils....then there will be no gimmicks, no bullshit, no nothing.....its going to us one on one....straight up singles.....
Oh and don't bother bringing any backup to the ring, no managers

And mention to your buddies, especially that Troy.......if they so much as come near the ring......I'll gut em like a fish.....
So how about that Ms. Nagano, does that amuse you ??

BullNagano accepts your terms. The last thing she needs is any aid in dispatching lowly trollop like you. We shall see what you're made of tonight, Ms. Hunter. Try not to disappoint her. Bad things come to those who disappoint Bull Nagano.
*With that, Nagano's music plays once again. Ina and Nagano stand at the stage for a bit longer, give one final look to Kim. Ina turns to leave 1st, while Bull keeps her gaze locked on her opponent for the evening. She then turns and heads backstage behind Ina.* |
