Stepping Stone to greatness ( o2 Ace)

Drain STHL Plays throughout the arena and out from behind the curtain comes Dustin Diamond. However his Actions while walking to the ring show a very different side of Dustin Diamond. Gone seems to be the timid Star who was scared of his own shadow and out came a arrogant Confident star who looked to address the XWA Fans. However fans didn’t know what to expect from this changed man. So they watched in anticipation of what Dustin was going to say. Dustin walked down to the ring and stole a microphone from the announcer, and then he jumped up onto he apron and went through the first and second rope before holding the microphone up so he could speak.

“ Now all of you saw my backstage skits recently. And all I have to say is that all of that is behind me now and I have come out to tell all of you loving fans that my debut may be near”

The fans start to boo Diamond as he then proceeds to speak further

“ I have looked through the lockeroom for an opponent to propel my career into the next level here in XWA. I found many stars however lots of them didn’t have what I needed. I needed a star who is well respected in that lockeroom. And then walking up and down the hallway until I saw my opponent. Now I will keep you all in suspense for just a while longer.”

Again the fans Booing and jeering is deafening throughout the arena. Many people cannot hear themselves think.

“ My career here in XWA has hit a snag. I haven’t had my debut yet and I should have had it a long time ago. But no one has been brave enough to take on the wrestling god such as I. So my opponent and first victim here in XWA will be none other than the Superstar known as ACE. Now I believe that my inevitable victory over Ace will bring my superstar level here in XWA up to a New Level. A level that may bring me my first Title. And as I said before that Ace is one of my first victim’s to my devastating Diamond Lock. A Manoeuvre that no one here in XWA has ever seen. But they will learn to fear the diamond lock after I use it to brake the Ankle of Ace. Now as I understand that Ace is good wrestler and seems to be great star in that lockeroom. But as I said I am not here to make friends I am here to win everything that there is to win. And I am here to brake everybody’s ankle who gets in my way. So Ace what is it going to be are you going to accept my challenge or are you going to do what so many XWA Stars do and that is pretend that I don’t exist and Pray that never have the diamond lock on them. So Ace What is it going to be”

Diamond starts pacing up and down the ring awaiting to see if his challenge will be accepted. He then goes out of the ring and grabs a steel chair. Fans are going wild at the sight of a steel chair however to give a huge Anti-climax Diamond unfolds the chair and sits on it awaiting Ace’s response

Modest plays as Ace comes out from backstage and stops at the top of the ramp. He looks at Dustin a bit before pulling a mic out of his back pocket.

Are you done yet? Poor you right? Noone seems to want to face you. Well seeing as you called me out I'll be nice and accept your challenge. See I understand that because you're new you want to make a huge impact. So you'll call someone out and call them a great star and all. See I understand that but the claim that you think you can actually cripple me is a little much.

I'll tell you why. Because most people who claim their going to injure someone don't go through. See they're much like yourself. They think an injury will put them on the map. And I have my doubts that you'll make me a victim of anything. But reguardless of my thoughts we can mix it up. Singles of course. There's no reason this would be anything else afterall. But anyway, continueing. We'll go head to head you'll try to lock in the...Diamond Lock as you call it and probably fail or at least fail to snap my ankle like you say. I'll probably win being I probably have more experience. From the sound of you, I guess you'll bitch and moan about it. And if you're up to it we would be able to do it all over again if you would want another loss.

Ace lowers the mic deciding he might as well let Dustin talk some more. But the challenge was accepted.

Diamond Looks at Ace and laughs at him the sound of silence is heard throughout the arena. as noone in the crowd belive that it is a funny matter.

" Well then i am very glad you accepted. Now you seem to believe that the Diamond Lock is all that i can do. Now if that is your belive then you'd better change religion very quick. cause i am very technically sound. In fact i am a Wrestlers wrestler. i am the man of a thousand holds. not Dean Malenko. Dustin Diamond. I am the greatest Technical star"
It seems that Ace's words have gotten to Dustin as he starts to rant and rave.

" And i am glad s to see that you are confident about this match. you say that experiance will win you the match. Far From it in fact your experiance will be your downfall. as i promise that you cannot prepare for me. Because lets face it How do you prepare for a move that you have never seen. the move i am talking about is the Diamondizer"

Fans look around thinking that they have heard this moves name before. until a crowd member starts shouting "Simon Rip Off" This gets to Dustin.

"Shut the hell up. He ripped off me"

Dustin ignores the fans and gets back to his point

" The Point is Ace that i will win this match and will be happy to beat you again if you Moan and bitch about. Because i may be a rookie in XWA but i have much experiance. and August 7th will remain in your life as a day you will want to forget. a day that marked a new Era. one that the great Ace can think Wow i got beat by the greatest technical wrestler that XWA has ever seen"

Now that Dustin has stopped ranting he looks over to see if Ace has naything to say. he waits for his reply

Ace just looks at Dustin as he lets him say what he wants. When Dustin finishes, Ace raises his mic.

Are you done yet? I don't need to prepare for you. Seems like the only thing you'll have me beat in is what appears to be ripping off other gimmicks and moves. So tell me, when will I see, you start playing the small guy who basically flies around the ring. Am I going to see you come out to the ring in an outfit similar to mine?

Or are we going to see you start dressing and acting like former World Champions. Scott O'Dell, Keith Wyle, Maniac, Avenger, all those? I just don't get it though. The people who just come into the big leagues sit there and model themselves after someone and then do nothing but insult them like they're the greatest thing ever. Hell, Shawn Hollywood was as cocky as you but at least he was original. But after I'll match I'll send you an outfit similar to mine so you can be already when you feel like copying me.

But before I go any farther. Please have another one of your rants. I find them quite entertaining. Pointless but entertaining regardless.

Ace lowers the mic once again as waits to see if Dustin is going to have another rant.

Before Ace can talk again or Dustin Diamond can reply Electric Six's 'Danger! High Voltage' hits the speakers.

Well look at what the cat dragged in… a new kid! Now what do you owe this pleasure of our meeting? It’s simple guys. I'm always up for the challenge. For I am the high flyer. The risk taker. The dare deveil. I'm sure you saw my bonus match against Jason Youngblood a few weeks ago. 20 minutes of pure aggression and athletism.

Upon my debut I made it clear when I punked out that Jason Youngblood, he's been around for a good few years now. The established guys and I don’t see eye to eye, that's because I'm coming for them, and fast. It’s my time. The high flyer, the risk taker, the dare devil... wants his chance to face the brand newest, the biggest and the baddest. To be at the top here in XWA - and you’re going to give it to me. You see the thing is... I don't want to be in opening matches for long. I want there to be some drama and excitement to each and every one of my matches.

That's why I'm proposing a match to you guys... Texas Tornado Tag, Elimination Style.

Ace raises his mic.

Interesting. Someone who calls himself a daredevil. I have one thing to say about this. Let's have this match and lets find out just how far you're willing to go. Let's see if you're as much of a daredevil as you claim to be.

Ace lowers the mic obviously not knowing who Danny Danger was associated with. Would it have mattered? Probably not but he would have probably just advised he not have anything to do with Vel but he didn't know. Besides he was too busy thinking about how this match would turn out.
