Interview with Lionheart (O2A)

Chris Lionheart pulls up to the arena, and steps out of his car. As soon as he steps inside the arena he is approached for a backstage interview.

Fabiola: Well Chris Lionheart, how do you feel about losing your return match against MG?

You know... I never said I was going to beat him. I no longer play that over confident game. If you loose, you just look stupid and give others more cannon fodder to use against you the next night. The thing I don't like is when people say they trounced their opposition, when in reality it was a more balanced fight. Yeah, MG got the win, but it was still a good fight and I got my shots in. Same as it was with Sledge, same as it was last year with Prime. But with that being said, MG has really stepped up his game since this time last year, thankfully for everyone else. I'd like to face him again sometime.

So everyone want to know what's with your reemergence here in XWA. Was the PPV a oneshot appearence kind of deal, or are you back for an extended period of time?

As you know, there's only one person who can beat me, and that's myself. People keep wondering why Chris Linoheart can be a World Champion, and also absent from a company for months on end. How he can lead people to such success, but still end up standing alone. How he can be a legend, and have 'fallen' so far in recent times. Maybe it has something to do with this brain disease I have, the higher brain pattern that fluctuates oh-so-precariously in between sane and non-sane, safe and destructive, happy and sad, normal and paranoid... After my recent attacks backstage which put me in the hospital, it finally got diagnosed. I've got no idea how long it's been there, but since those attacks I've had three brain heamorages. Yet some how, even with a third of my brain 'shut down', this brain frequency 'pattern' is still radically high, something's not right, and I actually kinda like it. I like slipping in and out of control, it excites me.

After those words of encouragement from Rachel Dawset, and the disrespect shown unto me by MG, I thought it was only fitting for me to come back. I aim to come back and bring with me a little bit of that old respect and tradition, because in the end that's what it's all about. I came here tonight looking for some in-ring action. I could have gotten a muscle monster like Dru. I could have gotten a pure wrestler like Kayn. It didn't matter to me. I might not hold a title belt right now, but I have always been a fighting champion.

Now Lionheart, everyone knows that you've been to the highest highs, and suffered some of the lowest lows. But one thing that's for certain is that these fans always seem to chant 'Lionheart'. You have a following, weather you're a 'good guy' or a 'bad guy'. Just to be clear, you're saying that yes, you're going to be a regular on TakeDown or OverDrive, from now on?

I will be a regular XWA combatant. And believe me, anyone who is anyone will be too. They've signed their contract. If they don't show up for work, they must know that they're a loser 'in here'. I'll be there, I'm a legend.

Do you want another shot at MG, or a title holder in XWA?

Those are your words, Fabiola, not mine. I could go after MG, I could stick my head in on a title belt feud, but why don't I see if anyone back there wants to come to me...

Damn. Here we are again. In the same interview the night I beat you. Mr. Lionheart. How does it feels to get it in the face like tit flick.

As Lionheart tries to talk he stops him

No no! I'll help you *MG stands side by side with Lionheart and mocks him* Uhh.. I'm not that mad about losing cause I'm a whole some guy *MG gives a cheesy smile* Bullcrap!! I know you Chris you probably one of those bad guys in trying to hide it. I'm one of those I did it before! Admit it.

MG waits for his responce

Lionheart smiles.

Ha ha! You ghetto son-of-a-bitch. I like you, not much but I like you. Always got some back-chat to give. You remind me of myself in Ohio. But what's more important that all of that is that I like the fact that you've stepped it up slightly on the mic since last year, dawg....

Yeah you beat me, well done. I'm flattered that beating me is a big deal to you. Because it should be? I'm a former World champion. Hell... I'm a former triple crown champion. Seriously though, if I was a 'bad guy', this place would know about it by now. I might parade around here with foriegn title belts. I might send a few more people packing from the company like I did Enrique last year. But if you want to see me when I was a 'real' bad guy, ask some of the people who've been around for some of my old 'heel turns', waay back in the past.

So no, bro, I'm not a bad guy, a wolf in sheep's clothing. Whassup with you, gonna spray water on me again? I'm a romantic guy, MG, I believe in choclate and dinner, and quite frankly you haven't bought me either yet.

MG spits in his hand and BLAM the bitch slap heard around the world.

Gezzy don't get down like that!

Fabiola: Oh my...

Lionheart stands deathly still, seemingly about to explode at any moment. Slowly he reaches up to his face and in one long, drawn out motion, wipes the glob of spit off his face.

It's Ok.... It's ok...

Are you ok?

It's ok.... I mean MG is clearly uncomfortable having his sexuality questioned, even if it's in the context of a joke. Clearly this guy has some Barney the big gay dinosaur issues from when he was a child...

*MG punches Lionheart in the face*

"Hey, you don't want to be punching on me..." *MG punches Lionheart in the face again* "Don't punch me!" *Smack!* "Don't you punch me..." *MG reaches back and delivers a harder shot right to the temple!* Lionheart's eyes come alive as he leaps forward and spears MG to the ground, lacing in the punches to MG's forehead and side of the head as he does so. Lionheart mounts MG in a 'brawler' position, trapping his arms underneath his legs and rearing off with right and left blows to either side of the head, all the while reigning down a tirade of verbal abuse....

"Alright! Lets give you a reason to punch me back! C'mon! Punch Me! C'mon! Punch! You're gonna kick my ass? Get Your Ass Up!"

Lionheart suddenly stops, and drops off MG. Standing up slowly, he backs away and turns to Fabiola.

"I'm sorry....sorry, sorry, sorry! I didn't mean to do thatm, Fabiola, I really didn't."

As Lionheart is apologising to Fabiola, MG picks himself up off the floor and spins Lionheart around, and begins punching Lionheart again, pushing him against the wall and bringing his knees up crashing into Lionheart's ribcage. Security races onto the scene to seperate the two, but they have a hard time doing so.

Security rushes right to MG and grabs him around the waist and tosses him to the floor. Lionheart saw it as a time to attack MG and does so by kicking and punching all over MG. MG tries to get but is getting choked down by Lionheart. MG monkey flips Lionheart and hops to his feet. He grabs Lionheart by his head and tosses him down into the hallway. MG aims Lionheart toward the stairs but Lionheart reverses and tosses him down the stairs. They battle down the stairs untill reaching the other hallway. MG tries to give Lionheart a super kick but it turns into a groin punch.

The security rush in between both competitors, with Lionheart nearest the arena doors along with Fabiola, and MG further in the hallway. The security are getting pushed together as Lionheart and MG push to reach each other. Lionheart turns his back to the security guards and begins talking to Fabiola again, saying how this is the sort of bad things that happen when he looses control, and that he's sorry once again. Lionheart says that these security guards are only doing their job, and he'll go grab a burger down the street and come back later.

MG sees his opportunity and dashes through the security crowd, leaping on Lionheart's back! "Overload's first Parking Lot Brawl, MOTHER******!" The two wrestlers tumble through the arena doors and out into the parking lot.

As security rush towards the door, ready to grab both wrestlers, MG turns around and pulls his gun.

Backoff and turn off the camera I want Lionheart by myself or I will shoot!

Security and Fabiola quickly runs into the arena. MG pulls the trigger and fire come from it!

Just a lighter. Come on! Damn, I love me! I get hurt another Ledgen in the Parking Lot.

"Hey MG, if you're done, I'm ready for that Parking Lot Brawl..."

Roach: We got it for you here on the video screen. Chris Lionheart standing accross the parking lot from MG, who will strike first?
