The opening chord of Stonesour's "Monolith" hits the PA, and to the stage steps two men who'd not been seen on XWA TV in well over two months, Shane Camden And Alex Price, formerly known as The Rockstarz, but now know as...


MONOLITH


The crowd comes unglued as "The Dynamic Duo" make there returns to XWA's ring. Slapping 5's with fans on the way to the ring, they slide in in unison and head to the turn buckles. Raising there fists high, they revel in there return, as does the fans. The pair are handed mics, and the now leaner Shane Camden kicks things off with a bang.

It's been a while. It's been a LOOOOOONG while. It's been FAR to long. But like the old song says, THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN. And this time, Lex and I, we're bigger. We're faster. We're stronger. And most important we're SMARTER. You see, two months ago, Alex and I got an offer that few in the business can say they're GOOD enough to get. One of the greatest to ever lace 'em up, Dru Nedermeyer came to us and said all he needed was one month, and he'd shape us into the best damn tag team, PERIOD. This coming from a guy who himself is a 6 time tag team champion. That's something that either someone totally stupid, or totally naive would pass up.

And yea, Alex and I since going "pro" haven't had the best of success. In fact, we haven't had ANY. We beat flames outta Brent Starr and some chick that fell off the earth in our first pro match, but then we pretty much went on a 7 month LOSING STREAK. We ot our asses handed to us in Toronto. We've had our asses handed to us here in XWA. There's no disputing that. But those days, those days are done. Because that team is dead. And the one you see before you, has a new lease on life...but the mission is still the same.

He opens the floor for Alex...

Alex points out to a sign that says "Long live Monolith" and gives a thumbs up. He raises his mic and speaks-

And that mission is simple. TAG TEAM DOMINANCE. Something that we set out for since day one, but never reached because...well...we were stupid. No no, we're not afraid to admit it. We've been chasing skirts, partying it up, and making ourselves look like asses. But Dru showed us how important it is to train. He said all he needed was a month, but we in turn took two, because we wanted to find our OWN place as well. So after we finished up taking our licks from The Big Man, we got back to basics. We traveled the east coast and hit up every indy show we could. Because there's no better way of learning then by DOING. And I'd say that we've hit our groove. No longer are we gonna make excuses. We're gonna do what a little boy from Rhode Island and a little boy from Toronto dreamed of doing many years ago. WRESTLE.

The crowd cheers the new found humbleness of the pair-

Roach: I don't know what Nedermeyer did, but It worked. These are like two completely different men in there.

But speaking of "little boys", I wanna send a big shout out to our new "champs", Viewer Discretion. They went and knocked off a tough team in Roth and Craig. Something they should be proud of, but what does Devine do when Ms. Blackheart announced this Tag Team Turmoil series? He comes out here and BITCHES about "we haven't got to celebrates our win...wah wah wah". And a guy like THAT is a champion...RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT. Marcus Devine, Robby Sylk. You boys are on NUMBERED DAYS. BARROWED TIME. Champions don't bitch about having to face adversity. THEY RISE TO IT. And you bums, you're not champions. You may BE the champs, but just because you're holding the titles DON'T make you men. You're a pair of MICE. And you can call us the exterminators. And come hell or high water, We're coming for the two of you, and we're coming to TAKE those belts from you. We ARE the MONOLITH. Unbreakable. Immovable. And no matter how much you think you boys are the men, You're FAR from it. We're coming for you. And we'll go through ANYONE to get to you.

Buzz: Now those are bold words. These boys are pumped, and I gotta say, I feel sorry for the other teams involved in this.

Roach: HOT DAMN! They're amped. I'm lookin' forward to this...

Shane finishes up...

So basically, Ms. Blackheart...go ahead and put our names into this little party. Because we've got a point to prove. And for all the other teams, get ready to get left in the dust. We're comin' in hot...and we're bringin' the rain.[/font]

There music hits the PA, and Camden and Price take there leave of the ring. MONOLITH is poised and ready for war.
