The Fires of Purity (O2 Kayn)

Inside the Fire plays yet again. The crowd puzzled as to why Michael is making yet another appearance on the stage. With a mic already in hand, he makes his way down to the ring and climbs in. His music begins to fade.

Roach: Now why could Michael be out here again?

BuZZ: I guess we're about to find out in the next few moments.

I'm out here for one reason and one reason only. Aside from dealing with that nuisance known as Nathan Browne *crowd boos*..SHUT UP!

Aside from dealing with Nathan Browne, I think it's time that I put some gold around this waist of mine.

Roach: He's going after a title? He can't even claim a win. How does he think he deserves a title.

BuZZ: The man has clearly lost his mind.

Now before you all start thinking I'm going after the National Title, I'm not. The title that I'm after, that I have my eyes set on is...much more pure than that.[/b]

Roach: Oh you cannot be serious. He's going after Kayn and his Pure title? Kayn hasn't been beaten in months for it. Kayn is an unstoppable Human Death Metal God machine. He's on the same level as Jasta is in terms of a champion. Michael couldn't even beat Jasta. What chance does Michael have against Kayn?

BuZZ: I sit corrected. NOW Michael has lost his mind.

If you're all done your oooh and awwing, yes I am putting out a challenge for Kayn and his Pure title. Why? Two reasons. One, because Kayn has not faced me before and I have a feeling he's looking for someone he hasn't faced yet. And two, because Kayn is NOT Bryan Jasta and I am confident that I can take Kayn down and become the new Pure champion.

So Kayn, get down here and accept so we can make this official. That is of course, you're scared.[/b]

Roach: You cannot be serious...Kayn? Scared?

BuZZ: It's clearly a ploy to get Kayn down here. We all know that Kayn isn't scared of Michael or anyone else in XWA[/center]

[Kayn]

*After Michael placed the challenge, the crowd at the Philips Center comes alive with chants for the Pure champion. Within moments "Hammer Smashed Face" plays over the PA system, making the crowd in Atlanta explode as Kayn walked out to the stage area with the Pure title draped over his shoulder. He stood for a moment and looked out to the crowd, pointing to some of the fans sitting in the nosebleed section. Kayn then made his way to the ring.*

Mike: "Well it doesn't look like Michael will have to wait long for an answer."

*Kayn reached the ring and in normal fashion, he climbed up to the second turnbuckle and applauded the crowd. He then jumped down and was given a mic before he walked up to Michael. Kayn stood toe to toe with Michael while his music faded and sized him up before speaking.*

"Michael Xavier, I must say this is truly a surprise. I wouldn't think that a guy like myself would be on your radar. I mean you've been around in this industry with your brother Anthony for, how long? Years. I mean people still talk about the Twin Dragons."

*As Kayn mentioned the Twin Dragons, the crowd in Atlanta begins to chant for them. Kayn looked around at the crowd and nodded.*

"See what I mean? When the time comes that you no longer have the ability to wrestle, people are going to remember you. But there is one thing that unfortunately people won't remember you for, and that is taking this title from one of the most dominant champions this company has seen."

*The crowd explodes as Kayn points at the title draped over his shoulder.*

Buzz: "Is Kayn denying Michael the title shot he wants? It wouldn't surprise me Roach."

Mike: "I don't think that's it at all Buzz."

"You're right Michael, I am not Bryan Jasta. Bryan Jasta is a completely different beast than I am, but we are both beasts none the less, and tonight, I'll be more than happy to show you why I'm the longest running Pure champion and why I will continue to be the longest running Pure champion."

*Kayn lowers his mic to the cheers of the crowd and waits for a reply from Michael.*

At least you won't have me doing something ridiculous like Jasta did. Don't mistake me for someone whose easy Kayn. I gave Jasta a damn good fight. I gave Nathan a damn good fight. And I'm going to give you a damn good fight. The only exception is that I am going to be finishing what I started. I am going to be the one that ends your title reign and make my mark.

[/b]

Roach: That's a very tall order that Michael is proclaiming.

BuZZ: And if he can't do it, people are just going to lose more faith in him.[/center][/color][/font]

[Kayn]

*Kayn was impressed with Michael's convictions. Not having the best record thus far this season has not deterred Michael's attitude, and Kayn liked that type of warrior spirit.*

"Like I told Christian Pryce a few weeks ago, I wouldn't be where I am right now by underestimating my opponents. You are no exception to that rule Mike, I see you like I see everyone I step into the ring with, as someone who could potentially take this title from me, and I'm not going to let that happen. I'm looking forward to what you're going to bring tonight."

*With that Kayn extended his hand for a shake.*

Make no mistake, our match will be one that they talk about for quite while, win or lose.

[/b]

Michael extends his hand and shakes Kayn's.

It's been a nice run that you've had as Champ, unfortunately for you, my time has come.[/b]

Michael simply smiles at Kayn.

Roach: You have to admit, even with the odds against Michael, he is still pretty confident about his abilities.

BuZZ: Let's just hope that Michael doesn't become over confident or else it will cost him.[/center][/font]

[Kayn]

*Kayn smirks and raises his mic one final time.*

"But unfortunately for you, my time is far from over."

*Kayn continues to smile as his music plays over the PA. Kayn releases his grip on Michael's hand, he then exits the ring and heads towards the backstage area, giving high fives to the fans near the security barrier going up the ramp.*

Mike: "The champ sounds ready Buzz."

Buzz: "But will he retain the title? I'm no magic eight ball Roach, but I have to say 'All signs point to no'."

*Kayn reaches the ramp, turns and looks back at the ring where Mike is still standing. Kayn then raises the Pure title by the strap over his head to the cheers of the crowd. He points to the title, then points to himself and then the crowd. He places the title back over his shoulder and walks through the curtian to the backstage area.*
