Soul Survivor continues, and backstage Fabiola is standing by with XXL.

Fab: Xander, tonight is a big night for you, literally. You're in Soul Survivor along with two fellow big men...and I have to tell you, a lot of people have you, Samson and The Colossus pegged as the favorites to get to the finals.

Well, when you look at the three of us that's exactly what you'd have to think to yourself. Not taking anything away from anyone else in this tonight, but look at how dominant Steven Higby has been. Look at the performance of Marcus Samson...last week he got dominated in the early going but still managed to bounce back and push Pryce to the limit. And me...handing Robby SYlk his first singles loss of the year. You put that all together in one ring, and there isn't much you can do to stop it.

But Robby, that's the reason I'm out here right now. You see I'm not satisfied with just beating you once. I'm not satisfied with just ending your win streak. You said last week that this was a farewell tour? Well...I won't be satisfied until I leave no doubt in your mind, or anyone else's mind that I'm here to stay and I'm here to play rough.

I bet you're not talking much about ring rust now are you? XXL is ready to roll at the drop of a dime, and just being in Soul Survivor tonight? That's not gonna cut it. I want you in that ring tonight AGAIN. I want to take it to another level. I want to show the entire world that the beast has been unleashed. You see where I am right now, get your pretty boy ass out here and say what you've got to say face to face because we're not done. Oh we're not done by a longshot.

Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa now! Tell me I'm not hearing what I think I just heard...

Robby's voice could be heard in the distance, but soon he's right up front and standing alongside of Fabiola.

The beast's been unleashed, huh? Well, if I'm not mistaken you won last week off of pure desperation brother. I had you just the same as you had me, and if it was a split second earlier or later I'd still be undefeated in singles action, so all this talk about playing rough and being a beast...pffft...you're looking at one right now!

I'll agree with you on one thing though Luther, we sure as hell aren't done with each other yet. That's got nothing to do with you trying to make a statement or your little "mission". It's got everything to do with me just simply put getting a kick out of beating your ass. You're just about the first guy so far this year that even wants a second shot at me, because all the rest of 'em realized that they weren't ready to step up to the big leagues and face the top draws yet. Can't say I blame them though, because if you want to be on the next level you need to be both physically and mentally capable.

You? I don't yet think to myself that you're ready physically. Am I saying that you got lucky last week? Maybe I am...but what I will say for damn sure is that from what I saw in Duluth I'll have an easier time beating you than you'll have beating me. For you, this means everything. Every match your in is a statement you're trying to make. I don't need to make any statements like that Luther...I already know I'm the man.

Oh really? Then what exactly is it going to take to convince how physically prepared I am then, Sylk? You better bet your Hollywood ass that I'm gonna be REAL physical tonight. If you're not a believer yet, you will be...believe that.

That ring out there might be your "office", but it's my home...so you go on out there and treat this like it's just business. I thought I made it clear that it's way more than just paying the bills for me, but I guess I have to reinforce that into...or onto...your head tonight as well.

I've got not problems with either method.

Now...just for special occasions like this, XWA pulls out all the stops. Those fans out there might notice there's a steel cage hanging over the ring. Well, I say that you and me put it to use tonight. I'll even make it easier for you, you won't even have to pin me to win. Escape will be the way to win. Climb over the top and that's all she wrote. Question is...do you think you'll be able to keep me down long enough to pull that off?

I'll do you one better than either of those, Luther. I'm going to knock you the f**k out! I'm gonna leave no doubt in your mind or any of the rest of these little assjockeys back here who's the best thing going in the XWA today. The GOLD*. The man who's at the top of his game at all times. No pissing and moaning, no whining, no pandering to the crowd or management to get what I need.

I get what I want MY way, and what I want tonight is to make an example out of you the same way I do everyone else who steps in the ring with me. Tonight, I'm wiping the loss last week off of my slate because I'm not just gonna leave you a beaten, battered mess...ha ha...I'm just simply gonna leave you period!

It'll be damn poetic, too. Me climbing that cage will symbolize the fact that I'm just plain ahead of the pack and nobody...and I mean nobody...can catch up.

It sounds to me like it's more a case of having your head in the clouds than being ahead of the pack, Robby. Don't get too high on yourself, because that's when the landing is the hardest when you fall. Tonight I'm bringing your ass back down to earth the hard way, slammed right down on that mat and if I can help it...THROUGH it.

I think you better recognize just who the hell I am if you haven't caught on yet. XANDER. XAVIER. LUTHER. Remember the name...the announcer will be declaring it the winner tonight.

XXL cracks his knuckles to symbolize his readiness, and makes his exit.

All that is is wishful thinking right there, Fabs. Not saying that it's not good to aim high and aspire high...take that to the bank kiddies...but what XXL is going to realize tonight is the same thing that everyone in the XWA learns sooner or later.

Nobody outshines the GOLD*. Nobody.

He pops his collar and swings off in the opposite direction.
