*Backstage Romeo had been warming up for his match where he would team up with Kris Cade to take on Primo and GVDS. He had already gone through his normal stretching routine and had gotten ready to do some push-ups. As he was holding himself up getting ready to let himself down, he had felt pain in his left wrist. He thought nothing of it and let himself down and pushed up. He repeated the process a few times before he had stopped completely because the pain had gotten worse. He didn’t know what it was, but he has gotten pain at his wrist a couple times prior to joining the XWA. He thought nothing of it because the pain had gone away. But now the pain had just stuck with him and he wanted to get it checked out.*
*He left his locker room and began making his way down the hall. It was an odd pain that he had been feeling. It was kind of sharp, but dull at the same time. It couldn’t be explained at all. Also his wrist had began to ache too. He shook his head and continued down the hall toward the medical wing where he would he would enter a room where a couple EMT’s were helping other superstars get ready for their matches. There had been one of them who wasn’t helping anyone so Romeo had made his way over to him.*
“Hey. Can ya help me out? I got this weird pain in my wrist and I don’t know what it is.”
“Yeah. Sure. Can you just do me a favor and hop up on the table?”
*Romeo hopped up on the table and sat there as he extended his arm to the EMT. The EMT began asking him questions about the pain and how it happened. He then performed some tests to see what exactly the problem was. After completing all this Romeo was diagnosed.*
“So Mr. Davis, you possibly have strained any of your wrist extensors. Those arm the muscles that enables you to extend your wrist. You say that you don’t know how this could have happened which make it odd, but things like that do happen. This won’t take you out of action for any period of time but you may have a sore wrist after matches. So here is what we are going to do for you. You will have your wrist taped before every match and after the match you will ice and rest.”
“Aight, that sounds real good to me. I happy that this isn’t gonna keep me away from the ring. So can I get the tape job done now? I got my match coming up soon.”
“Yes you may.”
*The EMT then taped Romeo’s wrist so that he had limited wrist extension motion. The tape job had felt good and Romeo thanked the EMT for helping him. He hopped down off the table and exited the room. He then began his way back to his locker room.*
