Takedown had just aired, it was all over XWATV, the most devestating show in the wrestling world. Just as the beginning festavies ended they were followed up by the blare of a very familer theme song. The not so new-comer Dante stepped out fro behind the stage in a very good mood. Walking down to the ring and sliding in under the bottem rope he motioned for a microphone. Raising it to his mouth he lowers it once, a pause, then he smiles and begins to speak.
Hello Georgia! I'm sure you all are ready to see some badass wrestling and some hardcore brutality here huh. I'm sure you guys are all wonding why Atlas is in such a good mood. After two losses in a row and then being placed in a team for Soul Survivor against my own terms. Well let me all tell you why I am in such a great mood. Tonight here on Takedown, there will be a new champion, a new Pure Champion. Thats right I am here to show everyone here what a man of pure talent can accomplish. So here tonight I am calling out....Kayn! the XWA Pure Champion. So get your ass out here so I can kick it back into the lockerroom. [/color]

*Just as Atlas finished talking ‘Hammer Smashed Face’ played throughout the arena. The crowd came to their feet as the Pure champion made his way to the stage area with the Pure title over his shoulder. Kayn smiled to all the fans in the crowd as he walked down the ramp to the ring. Once in the ring, Kayn asked for a mic, which the ring announcer gladly gave to him. His music faded as he spoke.*
“Dante Elsworth, well it is a pleasure to finally meet you face to face. You know, I’ve watched you from the back a few times, and I have to say you are an impressive specimen of a wrestler. You have size, strength and a brutality that most people would find intimidating. Once again though, most people. But I am not like most people, when I see you, standing in this ring with me, all I see is another man who’s going to try to take this belt from me, but in the end fail miserably.”
*The crowd explodes as Kayn lowers his mic and waits for a reply from Dante.*

Dante smirked at Kayn's reply to Dante's challenge and raised the microphone to his lips.
As it is a pleasure to meet you, the '08 undefeated Pure Champion. I must say that belt looks great around your waist, however it will look much better on my shoulder. You are a great wrestler no doubt, I have seen you nearly decimate all competition heading your way and still defending to this day. Seeing as this is the Pure Title I assume it must be contested under Pure Rules. Well thats just great, I get to beat you in your own backyard in a sense. Well, you know, apart from the...hair...and the punk attitude we are pretty alike you and I. However there is one huge difference, ambition, that is one thing my friend that a scale can not measure between me and you. From you, I expect the best match I have had in my career from you. So don't disappoint me...Death Metal Goliath.[/color]

*Kayn lowered his mic and looked at Dante for a few moments as his theme music played over the PA system, he then smirked and headed out of the ring back to the backstage area to get ready for his match with "Atlas".*

Dante's smirk turned to a frown and watched as his competitor, the XWA Pure Champion walked back stage with his belt. Dante raised the microphone to his lips on last time.
Don't count on it.
Dropping the microphone Droppin' Plates blares across the PA as Dante raises his hand for the crowd to cheer. This indeed would be a blood bath of a match, it would truly be the best man winning.
