The new theme of Scott O'Dell, Drowning Pool's "Tear Away" sounds over the PA. "The Franchise of XWA" steps into the arena, and is booed immediately. Of course he pretty much soaked in the hate like a sponge and grinned all the way down to the ring.

Buzz: When Scott's got that cheeky ass grin, it never ends well for whoever he's up against...

Roach: Scott's been rolling since he lost to Bain for the World Title. And with Soul Survivor just a week away, I can almost bet that what he's out here for. But who could he team with? Alston was eliminated, and Tryton's already in "The Last Dance."

Inside of the ring, Scott calls for a mic.

Contrary to what some people might think, I'm a very ambitious man. Some of you might think I'm just this callous, stuck up, arrogant asshole who thinks about nothing but himself. And you're right. I'm all that and then some. But I'm also a man who knows a golden opportunity when I see one. I saw once when Tommy Tryton came into XWA, and I gave him the launch pad to become one of the company's best new commodities. And what did he do? He DELIVERED. Just last week, I gave Brandon Payne the chance to finally get in the ring with the man who IS the center of the XWA universe. Even losing against me, he looks that much better because he got to stand in my spotlight. I've made so many people in XWA it's ridiculous. Joey Curtis, Keith Wyle, Kayn, Ryan Fierhart, Chet Dixon, Brandon Payne, JAYSON JONES...the list really does read like a who's who, doesn't it? And I continue my tradition, tonight.

A small pause.

Last year at Soul Survivor was the night I lost the World Title to Keith Wyle. And yea, go ahead and joke about that wasn't the only thing I've lost. But a year later, I'm still a ridin' fast, flyin' high and callin' shots. What's Keith done lately? My point exactly. My other point is that Soul Survivor 2008 will be another milestone night for yours truly. But in a good way...for me anyway. Because it's the night I get one step closer to winning back the World Title. But in order to get there, I need at team, right? But of course, Tommy's already in Xgames, and Alston unfortunately is gonna have to get back into the mix through the 2nd Chance Battle Royal at the PPV. So this got me to thinking. If I'm gonna team up with someone tonight, it's gotta be a pair of guys I KNOW can get the job done. A pair of guys who I know can hold there own, and I don't have to worry about mucking up in the ring. My partners need to be the best...of the best...of the BEST. So that's who I went and found. The best damn pair of partners anyone could find in all of XWA. Gentlemen?

Attentions turns to the set as all await Scott's SS partners to appear.

[bruza]

Jaws in the arena drop, as it was the entrance theme of The XWA Tag Team Champions, The BRUZAS that plays over the PA. The "Evil Twins" as they've been aptly nicknames step into the arena and make the walk down to the ring.

Roach: That's gotta be the greatest card anyone's pulled for Soul Survivor yet. O'Dell needed two partners, so he went and got the TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS. You can't get a better pair of partners, Buzz.

Buzz: And then you add to the fact that Nic & Ric Bruza have yet to even tastes defeat this year. They've RULED the Tag Team division since winning back the titles at March Madness. I hate to say this, but I think we're now looking at the odds on favorites to take the whole thing.

The twins enter the ring, and the "Spokesman" of the two Ric grabs a mic to speak.

When ya' boil it down, it came to us makin' a decision when Scott came ta' us. Because easy to say there IS no competition for us in the Tag Team ranks. So maybe we might be able ta' get a better fight with the rest of the roster. But I doubt it. You see, me and my brother, we don't give a crap about winning this thing. We just want to kick someone's ass. And Scott here has paid us a whooooole lotta' cash to make sure he gets deep into Soul Survivor. So it's a win-win for all three of us. I feel sorry for the poor three bastards we're gonna have to RAPE 1st.

Ric leaves the floor open for Scott's next comment.

Scott speaks a final reply...

The reason why I'm The Franchise, is because I'm always FOUR steps ahead of the curve. While everyone else follows the law of the land, I make my own. And tonight, Marshall Law is in effect. And to the chumps that me and The Bruzas have to face tonight? Nothin' personal fellas.

Scott looks to The Bruzas.

Scott drops his mic, and heads for the ropes.
