Brian Yang steps out from backstage, met by mixed reactions from the fans. In recent weeks, Brian had an increasingly large chip on his shoulder, and it was growing by the day. Making his way to the ring, Yang slides in and calls for the PA announcer's mic. He tells him to get lost off mic and turns his attention to the crowd.
Jeff Heaven. Congratz on getting that monkey off your back. Your 2nd XWA victory.After how many months of getting served up by Bain & Tryton. Well guess what, you went on and pinned the wrong guy. Let's get things in order, Heaven. Let me lay my cards out on the table. I don't like you. You're another one of these guys who trot out here like they're so hot because they've got experience wrestling over seas. Because they've held titles in other companies. It makes me sick guys like you. Whereas a man like me, a man who week in and week out has busted his ass to make a name for himself in XWA gets pushed to the side for the sake of pushing a "superstar". You're a super JOKE as far as I'm concerned. And tonight, the comedy REALLY kicks off. Because I'm gonna be laughing my head off after I kick your ASS. That's right Jeff, I'm calling you out. You and me, in this ring, one on one. So that I can put in perspective where your place in the X-Gen Division really is. BENEATH ME.
The mixed reaction was now full on boos. It seemed that Yang had finally cracked.

Jeff Heaven's theme booms into the arena, and the "Living Legend" steps into the Greensboro Coliseum. The fans give a standing ovation as Jeff makes his way out to the ring to confront Yang. He stands face to face with him in the ring after snagging up the mic provide for him on the ring steps, and responds to the challenge.
So you don't like me, eh Brian? That's unfortunate. It really is. I mean, to flat out despise someone just because they made you look silly? That's cold. Thennnnnnnnnnn again...I guess that's not as bad a reason as I thought. I mean, I did the same to Scott O'Dell in April, and I'm sure he's not buying me a Christmas card either. Comes with the territory. But you're a little mistaken, my friend. Since day one I have NEVER had SQUAT handed to me. Whether these fans love me or hate me. Whether I've been on the same page with the powers that be or they've been itching to fire me, I bust my ass in this ring. I EARN it. Every milestone and accolade I've had in the last eight years, I earned with my own hands. To quote Scotty boy from last week, I'm a "Self Made Man". I didn;t get a push from writers. I didn't benefit from "Fan Votes". I made mySELF into a Legend. Just like I'm doing here in XWA.
And these fans will tell you the same. When I was going up against Bain, gettin' tossed around like a rag doll by a guy two times my damn size, they loved it. But they respected me for it because I didn't whine like a bitch when I lost. I came back for 2nds, and I would have come for thirds, but Ethan became World Champ after our 2nd match. Same goes for Tommy Tryton. Yea, he's beat my ass three times now. But I'm still standing. Now he's got a spot in "The Last Dance". Come to think of it, it seems like the guys who beat me seem to move up in the world not to soon after. So maybe that will motivate you to BRING IT tonight. Because it's gonna take every kick, punch and hold in your arsenal to take me down. And even if you do, I'll be right back for more. The question is, like the Overload slogan says..."Can You Handle It?"
Jeff awaits Brian's next response.

What's gonna get handled out here tonight...is YOU. Your nickname is "The Legend". Well the sad thing about Legends is that they eventually come to an end. And yours ends in this ring. Not only am I gonna be you tonight. I'm gonna beat the fight out of you. I'm gonna make you 2nd guess the reason why you get in this ring every week. I'm gonna send your career to the same place as your last name. So say hello to the angels at the Pearly Gates, Jeff. And let them know you got sent there by not "a" Dragon, but THE Dragon.
He waits for Jeff's next response.

With a grin on his face, Jeff responds.
You're right. Legends to end. But mines is far from done. And it's gonna take much more then you to do it. But good luck trying, my friend. You'll need it.
Jeff lowers his mic, and his theme cues up on the PA. As the two men stand face to face, the tension could be felt by everyone in the building.
Willy: This is brewin' to be one hell of a rivalry. And it looks like the cards are all on the table now.
Tony: You've gotta believe that one of these men are gonna be the next in line for the X-Gen title. Tonight's match might just catapult the winner the closer to it.
The scene ends with both men in a stand off dead center in the ring.
