In The Rough (Invite)

Paparazzi pour out from backstage with cameras flashing. Following them steps the stunningly gorgeous Leani Li. Fresh off her simply dominant showing last week's Battle Royal, she struts her stuff down to the ring.

Travis: Here comes Leani Li. One hot momma if you ask me. And one hell of a wrestler. Who KNEW she could hold her own like that in the ring?

Lucy: I did some research, and it turns out that before she became Tommy Tryton's manager, she wrestled for 3 years, making her debut at 17. She apparently stopped because she...didn't like getting sweaty.

Travis: You're kidding, right?

Lucy: I wish I were...

Inside of the ring, Leani secures a mic, and prepares t make her challenge.

Last week on Glitter, I showed a bunch of so called "superstars" how it's REALLY done. I showed that I'm not just beautiful, but pretty damn deadly. And now, the REST of the Diamond Division has taken notice that there's a new sheriff in town. But I'm not out here to gloat. Ugly people gloat. People like those trashy Diamond Devils. Or that loud mouth Sumya. Or that Channelle chick. Not me. When you're as gorgeous as I am, why gloat? I mean, look at me. Was there ever a doubt I'd lose?

The fans boo the "Hollywood Starlet". She smirks and continues.

I could never expect a bunch of hillbillys like you to get it. Well...tonight, I'm looking to make an even bigger statement. I'm out here to make a challenge. And not just any challenge. No no. I'm out here to challenge the best XWA has to offer. The woman regarded as being the best pure wrestler in this company. Male OR female. And that woman is none other the Ms XWA herself, Ashley Diamond.

The fans cheer on the mention of Ashley's name.

Yea, yea, yea. Cheer her on. XWA's poster girl. The "1st Lady". But as was seen last week, Ms. Diamond's shine isn't as bright as it was before, is it? She got beat by Alundra Jade, a woman that I'VE defeated 3 times in my career. And what's more important is that Alundra proved that Ashley was "mortal". Every other female in XWA before has tried and failed to beat Ashley, which speaks volumes about the so called "talent" of the Diamond Division. Well guess what, Ashley? I's MY turn. In fact, after I'm done with you, we're going to have to call yo Ashley Cubic-Zirconium.

Leani starts laughing out loud, but her laughter is soon cut off when Ashley's theme cues over the PA.

It wouldn't take Ashley long to come out and respond. The fans cheer as her entrance theme blares over the PA. Ashley trains her gaze on Leani as she makes her way down to the ring. She climbs the ring steps and enters. Walking over to the ropes, Ashley's handed a mic and she turn right into her response.

You know, you've got a lot of nerve, "lil lady". You come out and win one battle royal, and then you DARE compare yourself to someone like Alundra? Or ME!!! I find it amazing that someone like you managed to best her three times. I find it even more amazing how you can even stand to live with yourself being such a BITCH. I mean Jeezus H. Christ, you come down to the ring with Paparazzi for crying out loud. This isn't a Hollywood premiere, sweety. This is wrestling. And seeing as you went on and called me out, I think I'm sufficed to oblige you tonight. You want a match? Done. But seeing as I noticed that you've got quite the arsenal of Submissions under your belt, and I'm pretty decent in that department as well. We're gonna have us something that hasn't been done in XWA in months.

A SUBMISSION match!

The crowd comes alive as Ashley ups the ante.

And if you haven't been keeping score, the last one that was done in XWA was between me and lil' Miss Sumya. Of which I won. In fact, I haven't been beaten in a Submission match. Talk about having to step your game up, eh Lee-Lee? *Giggle* We're gonna see if your skill in this ring is as fake as those two mountains on your chest, sista'.

The crowd cheers on as Ashley awaits Leani's reply.

It was a shock to the system as Ashley throws out the challenge of a Submission match. But Leani was a confident (Maybe TO confident) woman. She raises her mic and speaks.

ASubmission match? Is that really the best you can do? Fine. It looks like June will be a month of 1sts. The 1st time you'd been beaten one on one in almost a year, and the 1st time that the GREAT Ashley Diamond...TAPS OUT. I think I'll even keep a few cameramen close by, because I want to capture the look on your face when it happens for all posterity.

Leani laughs, pointing at Ashley and mocking her as she waits for her reply.

With Permission

In a rare moment of aggression, Ashley pie faces Leani to the floor. The crowd gasps at Ashley's act of contempt at Leani. Looking down at the shocked Leani, Ashley speaks her final response.

You want a moment for posterity? There. Now you have one. The only thing your cameramen are gonna be taking snaps of...is how bad I beat your ass.

Ashely drops her mic. The crowd was still in total shock at Ashley's actions. She exits the ring, and without so much as looking back, walks back up the runway to the back.

The look of confusion on Leani's face told the whole story. That wasn't at all what she was expecting. In fact, she had came out thinking she'd be able to out wit Ashley, not get pie faced to the floor by her. Confusion turns to anger, as Leani rises from the floor with a scowl on her face.
