*Once again, Kayn had successfully defended his Pure Title against a very deserving challenger in Christian Pryce. After Kayn had done the obligatory posing after the match he walked over to Christian, helped him to his feet and patted him on the back in a gesture of respect. Kayn then left the ring and headed up the ramp to the backstage area, giving fans high fives up the barrier rail. Once behind the curtain, Kayn headed to his dressing room. Once he arrived he placed the Pure title in his locker and hopped in the shower. Once finished he threw on some jeans and a sweatshirt and decided to watch the rest of Takedown from his dressing room. He grabbed a bottle of water from the mini fridge in his dressing room, opened a folding chair and placed it in front of a small TV which showed the action in the ring. The match that was being televised was the Alex Wyle vs Loki match.*
'Damn, Alex has gotten much better recently.' *Kayn thought to himself as the match continued. Just as Kayn opened his bottle of water, there was a knock at his dressing room door. He turned his head to face the door.*
"Come in."
*Kayn waited to see who would walk in.*

Opening the door was "Wild Thing" James Bowen, who was just stopping by after another day of rehabilitating his knee. Lately, he's been walking in crutches.
James: Hey Kayn; long time, no see, man.

*Kayn was a little suprised to see James, he knew of James' injury but didn't know he was still hanging out backstage at some of the shows. It was a pleasent surprise however.*
"Hey James, it has been a long time. How's the knee doing? Here, let me get you a chair."
*Kayn stood up, grabbed and opened a folding chair for James to sit down on.*
"Here, have a seat, take a load off. Can I get you something to drink? Water? Soda? Beer?"
*Kayn waited for James to reply.*

James: Water would be great; I just finished another day of rehabilitation.
Kayn gave James a bottle of water.
James: Thanks; you know, I've spent ten years on the road, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365-366 days a year. I had never stopped to recover once, until now. And we got new shows, huh?

*Kayn walks over to the fridge and grabs a bottle of water for James.*
"Yep, Overload and Glitter. I was lucky enough to be on the premier episode of Overload, once again defending the Pure title against my 'good friend' MG."
*Kayn hands James the bottle of water then heads over to his chair, turns it towards James' chair and takes a seat.*
"Glitter shaped up to be a great show too. Now all the diamond ans don't have to sit through the matches with all us ugly guys."
*Kayn smirked as he took a sip of water.*
"So how's rehab going? You gonna be back in the ring rockin' and rollin' anytime soon?"

James: Rehab's slow, but I am determined to return this fall; I don't like being in the sidelines too long, so I'm going to push myself beyond my limits.

James: Yeah, besides going to rehabilitation five days a week, I have been trying to take it easy. I've also heard the next pay-per-view is held in Atlanta. It seems like I'll be there, since I live there.

"Well you are an XWA superstar, I'd think if you wanted to be backstage or front row during the show, I'm sure Mr. Gallas or Ms. Blackheart would make it happen for you. Save you a few bucks on a ticket at the very least."

MG busts in the door and scares everybody. He didn't want to start any trouble he just had an important question.
Sorry that I scared ya'll I just wanted to make an entrance. Yo Kayn I want to ask you a question about SS man. You know I always wanted to team up with you since day one right. How about we do it at Takedown next week.

*Kayn, completely unfazed by MG's entrance, rolls his eyes at MG's offer.*"If you had actually read the eligibilty rules posted by Ms. Blackheart you would have seen that it says, and I quote 'Existing champions are not eligible to participate unless they relinquish the title they're in possession of', and my Pure title reign means a hell of a lot more to me than you wanting me to join up with you. Besides, I'm pretty sure I told you that after I beat you in our Pure title match, I don't want to hear anything from you anymore, so why don't you go talk your boys 'Left Ball' and Sushi rice into joining your team." *Kayn then turned his attention back to the conversation he and James was having, completely ignoring MG any further.*

As MG exits, Nathan enters. They nearly bump into each other, but Nate slithers his way around him.
Here he stood in the same room as the two men he first met when coming into XWA.
Kayn, I'd like a word with ya.

*Kayn then notices James starting to leave.*
"Cool man, well you get back in the ring soon. I'll catch up with ya in Atlanta."
*Kayn looks back at Nathan.*
"What's on your mind?"
