***Kim was riding an immense high backstage, not only was her singles career back on track after a tremendous back and forth beatdown with Kristal Allan. She and Hayley then went on to win the first round of the Sapphire Championship Tourny against Allan and Blake or "Showtime" as they like to be called. This was too good to be true, now Hayley and her were the Heartbreakers away from being Sapphire Champions. And Kim was more determined than ever to regain composure and keep winning on her own.***
This isn't fate, this is because I've worked my ass off.....well in terms of the singles competition anyway, in terms of the tag competition Hayley and I play a damn rough game, we are the best team out there and that's been proven. 2 years as a team in XWA only one loss.....that's some heavy stats there.......
Everyone that was psyching me up telling me that all I needed was confidence in myself, it damn sure worked because I've regained it.....
***Even talking to herself didn't seem strange to Kim anymore, especially not after something like that***

You know, there's a funny thing about confidence. It can be as big a burden as it is a blessing.
Pollox was leaned up against a near by wall, just close enough to hear Kim's ramblings.
I mean, while your pair of wins tonight are good for the old morale, who did you beat? A pair of rookies no less. *Hmmmph* If you're patting yourself on the back for that Ms. Hunter, you need more work then you think. As a matter of fact, I'd go as far as saying that you're...well...

I mean, was it not you who called out that Rose girl? You initiated the challenge. And she in turn beat the holy crap out of you. And what do you do next? Take on a rookie with two matches under her belt, and then the same rookie and a partner who teamed for the very 1st time, against you and a partner that have been working with each other for years.
He mockingly begins to clap.

Hayley steps into the scene with a couple of bottles of water after a hard days work, and tosses one to her partner as Pollox appears to apparently antagonize her friend after she's had a good night.
Hey!? Ain't you one of those Troys? The ones who got their asses handed to 'em by Evan and Styles? You know you talk pretty damn tough for a punching bag.

Shows how much you pay attention. It's RYAN FIERHART and Mr. Styles we were bested by. And I'd expect nothing less from...well...a "thing" like you then to take a low road jab. Ya, you are one of those Troy brothers.....that Hayley's correct about that my boy and his partner's whether it be Evan or Ryan have kicked your asses from here to Jersey......
I gotta say that if your sister wasn't as impressive as she is I'd doubt that there was wrestling talent in your family....but SHE'S actually talented, unlike you chumps....so pfft....

Doesn't really matter who's on the other side, they just beat you silly, but I'm so sorry for confusing who knocked you and your fellow creepy little bastard brother out! Speaking of things that don't matter, like whatever it that you claim to have done...it's what you're doing now that matters POLLY!!! Riding high as ever Hay, high as ever....I don't care what certain people like Mr. Troy might think, WE just came off a HUGE WIN cuz we're in the Sapphire Championship Finals, and I'll be damned if I let the Heartbreakers run us down for those belts.......EVER.
I'm FINALLY back on track in my singles career........life is grand......couldn't be any better right now, couldn't be any better. There's nothing that could go wrong now, unless something completely fucks up and we lose the titles but we'll still ride high because there's plenty more where that came from.......

First she takes a swig of her water, then wraps her arm around Kim's shoulder as they took a walk.
Even if we don't beat The Heartbreakers, just cuz we aren't the first Sapphire Champions doesn't mean we won't be the next. Even if I don't win, I've always got my head up high, just not with my nose stuck up in the air like Polly there.
You really put it down out there though against Allan tonight. I was impressed. Can't say much for the Tag match cuz I was kinda there, ha ha!
