It's All Good (Showtime)

[Channelle Valencia]

While it was a good night for Channelle, the same couldn't be said for her colleagues who had lost in both singles and Tag Team competition. After she freshened herself up, her next move was to see how Kristal and Blake were doing after their losses. Making her walk down the halls, she found the locker room they were occupying and knocked.

Girls? Anyone home? It's Channelle...we've got to talk!

[blake]

The mood inside of the locker room wasn't a pleasant one. Not only did Kristal lose her grudge match with Kim Hunter, but together they were beaten by Hunter and Hayley Jonas, ruining any chance of becoming the first Sapphire Champions. Blake had already got cleaned up and changed, throwing her ring gear into a suitcase, as in literally throwing it. The frustration was pretty evident. Suddenly she hears a knock on the door, and the voice of Channelle on the other side. She walks over and opens it up.

Come on in. Kristal's still in the shower. What is it that you want to talk about?

[Channelle Valencia]

There were going to be nights like this, when not everything goes according to plan, so Channelle being the diplomatic person she is, was thinking long and hard about what the next move could be for them all, Blake & Kristal specifically.

I want to wait until Kristal comes out so I can let you both in on it. I've got a plan. You look like you're going to burst though Blake, relax a little! It's not like you wont get another shot at the Sapphire Titles or the Diamond Devils for that matter. You didn't think it was going to be that easy, did you?

[blake]

Of course I'd expect for you to be Ms. "Cool, Calm & Collected", seeing as you pinned the Diamond Champion of all people.

Blake walks back over and starts back at what she was doing before Channelle arrived, tossing bits back into her black suitcase getting ready for the trip to the next city.

It's like those two read our minds out there. They did exactly what Kristal said we were going to do...on her! Once she started getting slowed down I knew we were in trouble, but the bitches wouldn't even let her out of their side of the ring. Pisses me off when someone uses your own strategy on you...

I knew it wasn't going to be a cake walk, but try telling that to her. Kristal, I tell you...she's going to be a problem running her mouth and pissing people off the way she does.

Well, the differences in opinion weren't unexpected. Even if they were on the same page, their wavelengths were still very different. Right from the start Blake had the mindset of being all business and no nonsense. As such, she was probably the more disappointed of the two.

Hey, Hey, Hey! Why do you think I put her on in the first place? She's the troublemaker of the bunch, just how it should be. She's the mischief maker, you're the enforcer and I'm the master manipulator pulling everyone else's strings and pushing everyone else's buttons. There's someone else who I'm courting into this operation too, she's got some potential too. That's a part of what I've got to say to you two.

So you two haven't gotten it together as a team yet! You've been in only two matches together so far. Sometimes things click fast and sometimes they don't. Just because the Devils had themselves a good strategy doesn't make you worse off than them. Now, take a look at those Dixon Sisters. Now that's a disaster there, and one I think you can play into your hands, since it's all about getting the momentum for you going. Trust me, they're pushovers.

So what're you saying? A "loser's bracket" match or something? What incentive do we even have to wrestle those two? I heard they're busy arguing like...like well...like sisters right now. Wouldn't surprise me if they break up.

Unless, of course we make them break up. Like have a match against them where if they lose they have to split up. No more Dixon Sisters! Yeah...breaking up a "happy family" like that would definitely make my day so much brighter.

It was one sinister smile on her face as the thought of pulling off something like that crossed her mind. She slammed her suitcase shut.

That's if they're crazy enough to even go through with it though.

That would be an entertaining one right there. They certainly don't win them when it counts, and that would be the biggest match of their lives. Imagine that for a second, how it'd be for them if they had to run solo. God, I'd almost feel sorry for them. Almost.

[blake]

The idea was an interesting one. Whether or not it could actually happen was another thing. At that point it was just some random thought, something to take her mind off of how the night unfolded. She looked at her watch.

KRISTAL!!! Did a monster swallow you up in the shower or something, what's taking you so long?

[kristal]

Unlike her colleagues, Kristal went through not one, but two matches this night, so she was extra sore as well as extra furious.

Emo-haired tramp...she set it up the whole damn time...

Was it actually the case, this thing Kritsal was thinking? Who knows...but it was a feasible explanation. Her thought process was interrupted by Blake's yelling though.

Hey! Don't rush me, okay!? You took as long as you wanted in here so don't rush me!!!

Blake was pissed. She had reason to be, but Kristal had more reason for it, thinking what she had been thinking as she tried to let the warm water washed away her aches and pains.

Finally she stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around herself. When she stepped into the room, there stood Blake, and Channelle was close by.

Before you say anything Channy...it was a set-up! That bitch Kim tipped her partner off the whole time! I could hear her saying "get her in the gut" right before Jonas tried to put a hole in my stomach. I shouldn't have took that solo match...those bitches softened me up! That's the only reason we didn't win!

Now, they were teammates now, and Channelle was going to have to agree with the belief, if it did sound a little farfetched. What Kristal was proclaiming at that point though didn't sound as unlikely as one would think.

Well, if what you're saying is true, then hell...I'll have to tip my cap to those two for using their heads. There's nothing wrong with a little planning, and that's why I'm here with you guys right now. I wanted to get you both in on it together, so that's why I waited on you to get out here Kris.

First off, like I was saying to Blake here, I'm recruiting someone else into our little operation. You know the new girl Destiny Knight? Well, she's sort of new, she was here but left and then came back. Word has it that she's not actually Ms. Popularity around here, sound familiar? Birds of a feather flock together after all, and I think she'll do just nicely with us.

For Blake, that was a name she wasn't expecting to hear. Bianca DiAnaco maybe, as she and Channelle at least worked a match together, but Destiny Knight? Putting your chips on a wild card is risky business.

Destiny Knight? You mean the stripper. I read her bio Channelle, are you sure about this? We don't need any primadonnas on this team. If she can wrestle then fine, but if all she's good for is running her mouth, I swear to God I'll break her legs myself.

Meanwhile, Kristal had slipped into her undies and was shifting through outfits she had hung up to see which one tickled her fancy.

I'm with Blake in asking 20 Questions here. Swinging on poles every night doesn't strike me as being athletically inclined for this line of work. You two have the wrestling experience, and me...I'm learning quick, but I have a gymnastics background as my foundation. What's her experience like?

It was understandable the fact that Kristal and Blake were being cautious here, but this was suddenly looking to be not as easy as Channelle thought it was going to be.

Wow, I didn't know I was going to need to do a background check here ladies. Well, she wrestled a few matches with Amber Gianni if I'm not mistaken, then she left. I don't really know why though. If you read her bio then you know all the rest of it don't you Blake?

Yeah. She worked her for a little while, was messing with Robby Sylk as well as wrestling with Amber, and then left for no reason. No explanation or nothing, expect maybe to play homewrecker with another woman's man. That's enough right there for me to not like the skank. That's the lowest of the low right there, a bottom feeder as far as I'm concerned. You think I want to associate with a "person" like that?

She made herself comfortable on a folding chair beside her bag.

We might not be angels, but at least we have standards of decency. Right from how she conducts her "business" to the company she kept when she was wherever the hell she was, I'm not impressed or interested in having anything to do with her, not until she proves she's for real. Last thing I need is for her to leave US the way she did Amber, without a clue.

So what exactly do suppose we do to allow her to prove herself then, hmmm? Do you want to put her through the Agoge or something, Spartan Style? Some kind of initiation? What's it going to take to convince you?
