Why Not (o2Kayn)

Pryce's music hits the arena. and then Pryce appears on the stage. he looks to the crowd and lifts his arms into the air. fans seem to like it. he walks down to the ring and then shakes a few fans hands before climbing into the ring and lifting his Mic.

i have been in XWA for a few months now and it is about time i think i deserve a title shot. i looked at the card and found that there was nobody challenging the Pure champion Kayn. this was a shock to me as i thought everybody was gunning for the Death Metal Goliath.

so then it hit my. why don't i challenge him, i seem to have good luck with big guys and i have also begun training at the House of Payne. so maybe i will get myself a title while i am at it. don't get me wrong i don't think that i am better than Kayn, i just think i have a shot. i have seen the people he has gone against and they are good, but i think i can do what they couldn't. in fact i am hoping on it.

So Kayn, do you see me fit enough to get a title shot. or do you not want to grant me one? it is your choice as champion. but i mean despite your title what do you have to lose. i mean chances are i will end up a another notch on your tally of bones so. what will it be?

*Christian wouldn’t have to wait long for his answer, because as his arm was lowering his mic “Hammer Smashed Face” began to play over the PA system. The crowd exploded as the Pure champion walked out to the stage with the Pure title draped over his shoulder. Kayn stood for a moment on the stage area, looking out to all the fans in their seats and smiled. He then made his way to the ring.*

Mike: "Here comes the Pure champ Buzz, and whether you like him or hate him, you cannot deny that he has been on a roll so far since getting that strap."

Buzz: "Yea, yea, yea. He’s been on a streak Roach, but I doubt he’s going to be as impressive as my man Jasta. He was what a champion should be. Dominant."

*Kayn climbed in the ring and took a look at Christian for a moment, he then climbed up to the second turnbuckle, took the Pure title from his shoulder and lifted it high in the air for the fans to see. A thunderous response came from the crowd as Kayn stood for a moment, he then jumped down, put the title back over his shoulder and asked for a mic from the ring announcer. His music faded and Kayn began to speak.*

"Ahhh, Christian, Christian, Christian. You know, I had a feeling when I heard you out here that you were going to want to call me out. I mean since I’ve become the Pure champ, I’ve had a target on my back the size of Scott O’Dell’s ego, *the crowd cheers* and I don’t have to tell you how huge that is. However, there was something you said that caught my attention. You said, and I quote ‘I deserve a title shot’."

*Kayn started to pace around the ring as he continued to speak.*

"You know, I’ve seen a lot of guys come and go in this company’s short existence that thought they ‘deserved’ more than they got, and I would have never pegged you for a guy that would think he ‘deserves’ something handed to him. Now, was it a slip of the tongue? Maybe, however title shots aren’t something that are deserved, they’re earned."

Mike: "Kayn does have a point."

Buzz: "So I’ll bet he’s going to tell this kid he hasn’t earned a title shot, what a jackass."

Mike: "Easy partner, let the man speak."

"I will admit however, you have taken the steps to make yourself a main eventer. Like you said you’ve joined Brandon’s ‘House of Payne’, which I’ve heard is no walk in the park. You do also seem to have respect for this company and many of the people in it, which is a trait that every champion should have. Also, I pride myself in being a fighting champion, one that will never back down from any challenger. So I’ll tell you what, tonight, right here in this very ring *cheap pop* I’ll give you your shot at this."

*Kayn pointed at the Pure title as the crowd exploded. He continued to speak.*

"But don’t be surprised if you end up being, like you said, another notch on my tally of bones."

*Kayn lowered his mic and waited for a reply from Christian.*

Kayn i have an enormous amount of respect for you. and don't take me the wrong way when i say. don't take me lightly.

Pryce rubs his chin, he thinks to himself before again lifting his Mic to speak.

now i don't see you as the man to ever underestimate his opponents. but again as a cautionary word, don't take me lightly. the last guy to take me for a rookie was beaten by me. and now he is dating Kiss. lucky guy. but anyway i just wanted to let you know that.

Thank you for the shot. if i deserve it or not i suppose thats down to interpretation eh. but you had every right to reject it, but i am glad you didn't. this again has earned my respect. and i now i feel that i am fighting for not only your Pure Championship but your respect. and i have a good feeling that i will walk away with one or the other.

so tonight i will not hold back, and i will give you a match that i feel none of the other opponents you have faced have given. and that is a action packed, show stopping clash that will only have one winner. tonight we steal the show.

Pryce holds out his hand and hopes that Kayn will shake it.

[Kayn]

"Trust me Christian, I don't take any of my opponents lightly. If I did, I wouldn't still be holding this belt."

*Kayn then sees Christian's hand extended, so Kayn shakes it. He raises his mic and talks.*

"Make sure you bring your 'A' game, actually, make sure you bring your 'A+' game because you're gonna need it."

*A smile came across Kayn's face after he finished shaking Christian's hand. He stood for a moment to see if Christian had anything else to say.*

Pryce smiles and then looks around to the fans

Trust me my A+ game will be on show i can promise that. i will see you in the ring

Pryce drops his Mic and heads to the back to get ready for his match.
