Already about halfway into the show. Takedown comes back on the air live after a brief commercial break. We see Brandon Payne standing in the center of the ring. We hear that he is going to introduce his teammates for the upcoming Soul Survivor tournament.

Brandon, stands in the center of the ring. Looking out at the crowd on hand for this evening. He was here on Takedown for a purpose. Tonight, it was time to shock the world !

He raises the mic to his lips and begins to speak:

You know, alot of things has happened to me over the last three years of my illustrious career. I've been through hell and back are more then one occasion. Yet I've survived like a true, proud warrior that I am. I've weathered the storms and have made it in this business.

Also, I have been known for my past 'Controversial' announcements and mannerisms. Tonight, will be no different. Cause you see ladies and gentleman. Its time for me to reveal who my two partners are for the upcoming Soul Survivor tournament.

The guys I have chosen to team with me. Like myself, have only one thing in mind. And thats victory ! We all have the same goal at Soul Survivor. We want to come in there, kick ass, and take names !

To say that these two men would be the LAST people you'd ever expect to see Brandon Payne associated with ? Would be an understatement.

I went out searching for the some of the very best in the industry to tag with. I looked at many, MANY different individuals. Out of them all. These two men just had 'it'. Everything that it takes to be a... Legend... a Prodigy... even an 'Elite' like myself. Hell, come to think of it. These guys are already at that level.

BuZZ: WoW !

Roach: Come on BP, who are they ?

BuZZ: Well, whoever they are Roach. These two man must certainly have alot of credentials for BP to talk so highly of them.

So without further ado. Allow me to introduce to you, the TakeDown audience. To YOU... the wrestling fans sitting at home. To my new partners...

Brandon lowers the mic and awaits for his partners to come out.

Inside The Fire by Disturbed plays over the sound system in the arena. Everyone immediately knew who it was. Michael Xavier made his presence on the entrance stage. He simply smirked as he began to walk down the ramp. After making it down the ramp, he climbed into the ring, he stood in the middle and struck a pose, flexing his biceps ala HBK style. After that, he goes over and grabs a mic and the music fades.

BuZZ: Wow...Michael Xavier a part of Brandon Payne's team.

Roach: Michael is an accomplished tag team wrestler as well as a singles wrestler. Kind of a shame he hasn't managed to get a title around that waste here in XWA.

You all act like you're surprised to see me here. And I know right away, some of you are saying "But Brandon, he hasn't done anything grand, he hasn't won any titles." That is where you are wrong. I have won titles. Maybe not any titles here in XWA...yet, in other places I have. But that's not what makes me elite like Brandon has stated. What makes me elite is longevity. 10 years I've been in this business. Not many others can make that claim. Hell, most have been in this business for what, 4 or 5 years? That is the reason why Bradon chose me. Because with those years, comes experience. I may not win all my matches, but I will be winning the ones that count.

But enough about me, lets bring out our final partner. I'll let him introduce himself...

The war siren sounds off as drums fill the background, finally, as the siren has faded completely out

GO BACK TO SLEEP
A Perfect Circle's Counting Bodies Like Sheep begins to play and Sylas Styles comes out onto the stage in a simple pair of blue jeans, lugz boots, a black leather jacket, and an "XWA Prodigy Tour 2008" shirt beneath it. As he slowly walks to the ring, slapping hands and letting the controversial alignment set in, the crowd is cheering.

Buzz: Jesus christ almighty, has hell frozen over already?

Roach: It must have just now, because I, we, THE WORLD has never believed that these two men. Brandon Payne and Sylas Styles, could co-exist together in the same company, let alone on the same team.

Buzz: This right there fans, is history in the making. These two men have never been in the same ring with eachother since the controversial events that took place in.. well, a former company, involving a buried alive match, and a virtual burial of a mans career.

Roach: I watched it live, and I have to say, if these two men have put their differences aside, we might just have seen the birth of the actual complete package in terms of teams.

Meanwhile, inside the ring Sylas has shaken Michael Xaviers hand, and is standing eye to eye with Brandon Payne briefly before the two men embrace in a manly hug and raise eachothers arms in celebration, much to the enjoyment of the fans.

They milk the spotlight for a second or two before Sylas speaks up.

Now I know what most of you are thinking. Why Sylas? Why wear a leather jacket, when it's clearly so hot outside right now? Well, the answer is... I don't care. I wear what I want, where I want, when I want. Much the same as I team up with whoever I can. I'll admit, I was kind of, iffy, when it came to teaming up with Brandon and Michael, because both men are from different cuts of the pattern.

Brandon is an accomplished singles wrestler, who has held gold world wide, and done so in every fashion imaginable. Honorable, controversial and both proudly and without the support of the fans, or management.

Michael here, is a career tag team wrestler. Numerous tag title reigns in companies I never knew existed until he and his brother held the gold, making the company world reknown in a single night. He's held a singles title or two, but his career has been in the tag rankings glory.

Then I thought to myself. Hell, I've done it all. Singles titles, tag titles. Heck, I was one half of the most dominant tag team in the history of this sport, having gone undefeated for 4 years. Still, to this day, uncontested, unquestioned and unbeaten.

He walks around the ring, pausing to let the fans quiet down abit

Roach: You know what team he's referring to right?

Buzz: I sure do, and it's a damn shame those two men can't continue their tag team career here. XWA would be a damn good home for TNA!

Roach: I think our TNA is quite alright as it is... oh the team. I agree.

So you take a singles elite star. Add in a tag team icon. Mix that with the all around messiah of the two sides of the double edged sword and what do you have?

I'll tell you what you have! THE most proficient, talented, world wide recognized, and gold wearing team ever to come together for a single cause. To be the elite amongst the greats, to dominate the way the three of us can, and to be the SOLE SURVIVORS of XWA. Thus, making a triple threat match for the ages. As three of the best from outside the XWA come together in the ring, to finally go to battle with eachother and crown a definitive winner between them.

I don't think you could ask for anything more, or better for that matter.

Buzz: The mans got a point Roach.

Roach: If Sylas Styles was holding a book before him, I'd damn well consider what we have here tonight, as CHURCH!

Buzz: Preach on boys, preach on.

He nods his head in agreement and hands the verbalization on to one of the other two in the ring with him

Brandon nods his head in approval. Agreeing with everything Sylas had said. As begins to follow up on his comments:

You hit the nail right on the head Sylas. I mean, just look at us. What you have here ladies and gentleman isn't just a 'team'. This right here... is a Dream Team of epic proportions !

So.. its really no surprise that I, the Wrestling Elite, would decide to align myself with two of the greatest athletes to ever walk god's green earth. Not only that, but two guys who you would LEAST expect to see Brandon Payne ever team up with.

Sylas Styles for example. This man has done pretty much everything there is to do in professional wrestling. A very charismatic individual. He has single handily carried organizations on his back. He's played a big role in turning normal everyday stars, into superstars. That my friend.... is credentials !

Michael Xavier over here. A talented athlete in his own right. Multi-time tag team champion. A great all-around superstar.
Only one thing that bugs me about him though...

The dude has very, VERY bad aim... he can't throw a hammer to save his life .

A slight chuckle can be heard from the crowd.

Anyways... fact of the matter is this. With the three of us working together as one. There is not one team in the back that can stop us. We are the very best in this industry. And at Soul Survivor. Were going to prove just that !

Brandon, you couldn't be anymore right. We three are going to prove why we are the elite. Honestly, I'm probably the last man to say this, but win/loss records don't mean squat in this business anymore. You could lose five matches in a row, then beat a man whose high up in the rankings. Where does that put you? Above him. Its not how many you beat, its who you beat. Sure long winning streaks are nice and flashy. But if you get your ass kicked the majority of the match, what does that prove? That your wins are only based on luck, not skill.

With myself, Brandon and Sylas together in the ring, we will be an unstoppable force. Whoever faces us will have to be at the peak of perfection to be able to eliminate us. And there are very few teams that are capable of doing that right now. So let this be a wake up call for all of you that are going to face us. Don't be ashamed that you lost to us. Be proud, because you've lost against the best that XWA has to offer.

Roach: Ya kind of think that Michael is grasping at straws. His record hasn't been great and who he's beaten hasn't been all that great.

BuZZ: This could be the turning point for him Roach. Soul Survivor may just be the boost that he needs.[/center]
