Time to Shine (Alundra)

The arena comes alive as the one and only Ashley Diamond makes her 1st Glitter appearance. Fresh off the heels of another impressive win, this time over long time rival Bianca, Ashley's intent for June was crystal clear.

Travis: There she is. The 1st lady of XWA. Impressive wouldn't even cover what she's been the 1st half of the season, people.

Lucy: There are few women in this business right now who is wrestling at the level Ashley is. Sometimes it all just seems to come together.

Ashley enters the ring. She calls for a mic, and wastes no time in issuing her challenge.

There's a woman in XWA that I've been looking forward to matching up against for a good two months now. A woman who is regarded as on of the best wrestlers in the world today. A woman who is easily the most decorated female competitor in XWA right now. And...a woman who is STILL the reigning XWA Onyx champion. And that woman is Alundra Jade.

The cheers of the fans grow even loud as the anticipation builds.

Alundra, I've been keeping close tabs on you from the moment you hit XWA. You've defeated your old rival Helena Troy. You beaten females the likes of Holly Woodz, Anjelyka and my close friend Sayuri. All four of them as good as it gets for female wrestlers. I know you knew this was coming, but it's time. It's time that you and me get in this ring, and get it on for the Onyx Championship. I know you're a proud champion. So was I when I held the Diamond title for 5 months in 2007. But that was then, and this is now. And now, it's high time Ms. XWA got her some bling again, don't you think people?

The fans of course respond with a thunderous cheer. The world awaits the response of the Onyx champion.

The new theme of Alundra begins to play, and the Onyx Champion enters the arena. With the title draped over her shoulder, Alundra gives it a pat on the set before making her way to the ring. As the fans cheer her on, she climbs into the ring and secures a mic.

I do believe I actually agree with all these people. I'd be lieing if I said I didn't anticipate a meeting with the one and only Ashley Diamond in this ring, title or no title. I think it's a fair thing to say that no woman in XWA can ever consider herself the best of the best until they've beaten you one on one. And the number of women even capable of it is at a premium to say the least.

Alundra looks out and nods to the crowd before adding...

But praise aside, I've held this Onyx title since it's inception from the PTW Lady Of Wrestling title three months ago. And I held the title this one was born from for seven months before that. So it's a safe bet to say that it's going to take the best effort, from the best possible female to take this title off of me. And it very well may be you. But I've beaten as you said yourself three top class talents for it already. And I'm certainly not going to let the mystique of Ms. XWA change that. So bring everything you have and then some, Ashley. I intend on doing the same.
