"Xtreme" Legends (Invite)

As the show comes in from a break, the entrance theme of Jeff Heaven begins to play. The fans come to their feet and welcome a familiar face, having wrestled in Charlotte many times before.

Gomez: These Carolina fans no wrestling talent when they see it, and Jeff Heaven is certainly it, eh Willy?

Willy: You must be buggin'. He's only won ONE match since entering XWA. He got son'd by Bain, he got son'd by Tryton. If he's got talent, I ain't a P.I.M.P. .

Gomez: You shouldn't say that out loud. Your wife may here it. *Heh heh heh*

Jeff now stood in the ring. He looks out to the crowd and nods as they show him their appreciation. He raises his mic to speak.

I missed my shot at Mayday to win it all. And yea, I'm not to happy about my performance. But those be the breaks. And I know for a fact that it won't be my last chance at the World Title. Not by a long shot. But tonight, I'm changing gears. I'm renewing my focus. Because there's something that many people overlooked, or didn't notice at all yet. I'm an X-Gen competitor.

The fans response was that of cheer.

Anthony Xavier came out a few days ago and said staking his "claim" in the X-Gen division. That was his 1st mistake. Because no one claims anything. You EARN it. And that's why I'm standing in thsi ring tonight. I'm here to earn my stripes. No, I'm not a stranger to Xtreme wrestling. I was the Xtreme Pioneer of PTW. But this ain't PTW. And there's a ton of talented Juniors in XWA. Guys like Brian Yang. Guys like Evan Fate. Guys like Pablo Reyes. And of course the X-Gen champion Saizo Kodanashi. I'm not gonna come out here and stake claims that I may well not be able to back up. I'm out here to earn it. And Earn it I will. And that's why I'm out here. To call on the challenge of one man. The man who has put the X-Gen division on the map. And that man is Jimmy Ames.

The crowd gives a huge crowd from the mention of Ames.

So Jimmy, if you'd join me in the ring, I'd appreciate it.

Jeff waits for Jimmy's arrival, but it's the theme of another X-Gen talent that plays.

It was Bryan Yang's theme, to the surprise of all. Yang walks out from backstage with mic in hand. Smarting over his loss at Mayday, you could imagine that Yang had something on his mid. As he enters the ring, he sizes up Jeff Heaven before speaking up.

Jeff. I hate to be the bearer of mad news for you, but if there's anyone fightin' Jimmy Ames tonight, it's me. You see, At Mayday, I took my eyes off the ball. I let myself get worked on by Treadstone and Cobra, and by the time they were eliminated from our match, I didn't have anything left in the tank. And Jimmy of course being the opportunist sap that he is, he capitalized on it. And that doesn't sit well with me. I know damn well that in a fair fight, with no excess baggage to worry about, I beat Ames 9 out of 10 times. And I plan on proving it.

Brian lowers his mic.

[ames]

As he does, Jimmy's entrance theme hits the PA. He steps out onto the stage met by a rawkus cheer from his devoted fans.

Tony: These fans just absolutely adore this young man. And why not? Jimmy Ames has turned it up a notch in 2008.

Slick: It's fittin' we're in Flair Country right now, cuz he's been Stylin' AND Profilin'.

With mic in hand, Jimmy starts off with a bang.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!

The fans roar at Jimmy's exclamation.

A great man once said "To be the man, you have to beat the man." I think he was from right here in Charlotte, right? ***CHEAP POP!!!*** Well as far as the X-Gen division goes, title or no title, the man is ME. But I plan on rectifying that little set back real soon. But in the mean time, we have tonight. Jeff Heaven issuing a friendly challenge, and Brian Yang lookin' for some payback. Fellas, I think it's common knowledge that there's plenty of Jimmy to go around. So how about I give both of you what you want, and we have us a good old fashioned Triple Threat match. And everyone one gets what they want. How 'bout it, fellas?

Brian smirks at Jimmy's bravado. He raises his mic to respond.

As far as you go, keep on thinking that you're top dog. Because there's always gonna be a guy that comes along who's just a little better then you. And If I were a betting man, I'd say that man is standing right here. You want a triple threat match? Fines. I get to kill to birds with one stone.

[ames]

Jimmy sees the perfect chance to throw a little salt on Yang's semi-wounded pride from Mayday.

Now come on, Brian. What did I ever do to you, huh? I mean, aside from beat you at Mayday, and out last you in the Xtreme Elim tourney at the start of the year? You know, if you keep on actin' like that, people are gonna start thinking you're a jackass. And you don't want people to think that now, do ya'?

Smirking before he speaks, Brian responds to Jimmy's comment.

Always the comedian, eh Jimmy? I guess you get to be when you've got lady luck on your side. And as far as I'm concerned, that's all you've been lately. Lucky. But Lady Luck is taking a powder tonight. Tonight we see how you can handle it when the stakes are high, and it's all on the line.
