It was another day in the XWA headquarters, the offices were doing their usual work and the XWA staff was sure to book many and many shows to please their fans... But where they pleasing them all? Sure. However there was one woman in XWA who considered that they weren't that was none other than Christina Dixon.
After having arranged a meeting, Christina entered the headquarters, wearing fashionable jeans and a very stylish t-shirt. True to the gay stereotype, she had excellent fashion sense. Christina arrived and entered the office of Sarah Warfield. Christina Miss Warfield will soon meet you. Miss Dixon.Fine, fine... I've got lots of things to tell her.Christina sat on a chair and started looking for magazines. Unable to find one of her liking she thought:
Heh if I had a good lawyer I could sue her for not having lesbian-themed magazines ... Oh come on Christina
Christina stopped her fantasies of accusing XWA of homophobia. She grabbed a nearby magazine about fashion and started reading it.Oh! "Fantasies of bi-curious women" This could be interesting...Christina read that magazine and she was soon fed up with it.I've never read such a collection of topics and stereotypes! She placed the magazine where it was. And soon she was greeted by the woman she had come to see.

Christina stood up and entered in Sarah's office, as she adressed her bossWell Miss Warfield, there's lots you can do for me. But actually I am here to demand what I think it's rightfully mines.
A title opportunityChristina then exposes her thoughtsI am not asking about any affirmative action because of my sexuality, God forbid it that I would try to take profit from something of my private life, I am just asking you to think about it Miss Warfield, since I arrived here. I've seen all the ex-TNB alumni getting title shots and opportunities, look at Sumya she evolved from being a Miss Goody-two-shoes in TNB to the bitch who made me come out of the closet in a XWA show. Look at Kiss, she evolved from being an insufferable bitch back in TNB to a very hot hottie.
Everyone has progressed, and has had their chances to the spotlight. Everyone but me.
Even those who came new this year got title shots. Look at Alundra Jade, how succesful she's been, and why you may ask? Because you gave her the opportunity.
But me? Nobody has given me an opportunity and I've been dry from titles for such a long time... So I guess that you could do something about it. I am not asking that you give me a belt, just give me a match. And I know that Glitter is about to open their doors, and that you are going to re-instate the Sapphire belts. Maybe you could give me and Sarah a chance to that belt.
Please... San Francisco Pride is coming soon and I'd like to boast about something more than I had to carry my little sis during the season Christina puts the palms of her hands together, waiting like a little girl what Sarah Warfield had to say to her.

Funny you mention the Sapphire Titles actually. Since you and your sister are one of a handful of established female tag teams in the XWA, it would only make sense for you to have one of the first opportunities at those belts.
The details of how I'm going to be handling that are still being worked out right now though, so there isn't a lot that I can tell you except that you will have at least an opportunity to become half of the first Sapphire team, but it's not going to be an easy road traveled. The duo that wins those titles will definitely be a deserving one, but if it's not you there's no need to worry. Those titles will be hotly contested. From what I've seen from you, The Hearbreakers, The Diamond Devils and a few others, our tag division is going to be a lot more balanced than the males is right now.

Christina however wasn't so happy about the news
Well... The Sapphire titles are nice. But you know that teaming with Sarah, my sis, isn't the greatest thing ever, I have to hear her boasting and boasting and boasting about her so-called great skills of leadership, wrestling, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...
However why do you say that it would only make sense for me going for the Sapphire belts? Come on Miss Warfield, you know that I am able to go for any belt. Win or lose, I always look good in the ring. Don't I?
the cocky lesbian Dixon waits for an answer.

Well, the truth of the matter is that you're currently in action as a Tag Team moreso than you are as a singles competitor. There are other girls who've been in singles competition longer than you this year who in all honesty deserve opportunities at singles titles before you do, sorry to say.
If you want to be in the running for the Pearl, Onyx or even the Diamond Championship, you have to show what you can do on your own first. Most of your TNB counterparts have done that already, you're going to have to do the same.

Christina sighs seeing she won't get any title shot. She then very seriously saysIs this because I am a lesbian?Christina then breaks laughingSorry, sorry. But since I watched that episode of Law & Order I've always wanted to say this .
Well Sapphire titles will do fine for me then. But knowing Sarah I wouldn't be surprised if she betrayed me to get a single title by herself.
Don't worry Miss Warfield, in Glitter sooner or later I'll prove to you that I am good as a singles competitor as well as I am good as a tag team competitor.
Heh I am one of the few women who have defeated Ashley Diamond! I can do that again only if I find the right path... To be honest you are right about what you told me Miss Warfield, I've spent the 2007/2008 season slacking around until Sarah arrived... Well I hope to straighten myself up... My career I mean
However I came here with a proposal too.Christina then takes out a t-shirt from her pocket and shows it to Sarah Warfield, it's a t-shirt with the XWA logo, but rather than being in white, it has the Rainbow Flag colors. You like it? I can tell you that they would sell pretty well And I thought to add a phrase that my dad told me when I came out of the closet.
"Come out, Wrestle Proud"
Sounds good doesn't it?an enthusiastic Christina shows Miss Warfield her ideas for a LGBT-wrestling themed t-shirt.

Well, that is an interesting little design there. We do cater to all different types of people after all...so having merchandise that caters to them shouldn't be a problem either, now should it? Hand it over and I'll give the idea to the art department, I know Jules would love it...I can imagine it now:
Jules: Oh this would be great honey! We could have Sarah and that Sylvester come out wearing the shirts and they'd be selling like hotcakes on the website! And speaking of hotcakes, that Sly looks Mmm Mmm Good! I could cover him with some Log Cabin syrup and then show him my "Log Cabin"...
...
Um, yeah...anything else I can do for you?

Christina giggles as she hugs SarahYou like it? Yay!Christina then releases her hugAnd if sells do well, could you add a percentage in my payroll? after all it was me the one who came with the idea.Christina then remembers somethingAnd since now same-sex marriage is legal in California. Miss Warfield let me tell you that when I marry you'll be invited to my wedding Christina waits for an answer before taking her leave

Sarah smiles. It's good to be hugged you know.
I'll...be sure to get you a present! I'm sure I might be able to coerce Carmella into having a cut of the sales for these to be given to you as well, it shouldn't be a problem.

Accepting the kind gesture, Sarah smiles and says...
Same to you as always, from one Sarah to another. Take care of yourself.
And she returns to her desk...
