The match had come to a close, and after a RAMPAGING finish, the World Champion had held his ground and stood tall once again.

After the slow count, the bell sounded and Ethan Bain's theme played long and strong as the ref handed him his World Title belt. There was no shame in Syrus' face for not winning the strap tonight though as he he got to one knee. Picking himself up just as Bain had turned around from celebrating with one half of the Philly crowd, Syrus...just like he said he would...make a motion as it his was tipping his hat towards the champion. He stands in the center of the ring and extends a hand towards the winner.

Good fighting dog...but I'll be back baby!

Bain takes Syrus' handshake with a respectful nod and says.

I know you'll be. And if I'm still on top when that time comes, I'll gladly welcome your challenge.

As both men exchange words off mic, the crowd shows their respect with a standing ovation. It was a match that was everything it was touted to be, between two of XWA's best. Bain gives Syrus a respectful embrace before raising his hand and motioning for the fans to give it up for STE. They respond with a thunderous cheer. Ethan joins the crowd in applauding a solid effort by Sykes in the ring.
