Unfamiliar music begins to play across the speakers in the arena by the tune of Disturbed's "Inside the Fire". The arena turns red as Michael Xavier makes his presence on the entrance stage. The crowd jumps up and goes crazy, chanting Michael's name. He looks at the crowd through his sunglasses then walks forward towards the ring. He walks down the ramp and climbs into the ring. Michael walks over to the side of the ring and requests a mic. A mic is handed to him and his music fades.
Yea yea yea, you're all happy to see me back. Well guess what? I'm not here for you. I'm here for one man. That man is Bryan Jasta. You see the last time that we fought, he beat me. But not before he took a toll of a punishment from me. Which means that Jasta isn't as invinicible as everyone claims him to be. If things had been in my favor a little more, I do believe I would of defeated him.
Now I know that Jasta is already scheduled to be in a title match and I'm sure that he does not want to tack on another match to his list. So, this is what I am proclaiming.
If Jasta doesn't come out, address me and accept my challenge for a match, which by the way, does not need to be for the title anyways, or one of his cronies comes out and takes his place until I can face Jasta. It's a simple choice really, and I will be waiting for the answer.

The voice of Jasta sounds over the PA...
If, if, if, if, IF. I do believe that one little word has been the defining word of your entire career. "If things had gone my way." "If I could only find a way to step out of the shadow of my brother." "If I just could push myself a little more." If only...
You weren't such a sad, pathetic FAILURE of a wrestler.
The crowd boos Jasta's hateful words. With a smirk, he continues.
Let's take a look at things objectively. Let's look back on your career. What have you accomplished? What mark have you left on the wrestling industry? What is the legacy of Michael "Cinder" Xavier?
Absolutely...NOTHING.
For a man who was once regarded one of the best talents in the world, you've done nothing. You've accomplished nothing. And now...you enter that ring, slinging my name around hoping that it will grant you some form of credibility. Thinking to yourself "If I challenge Jasta, maybe people will respect me." How wrong you are, Michael. It only does the opposite. Because what any objective human being would see, as I do looking at you right now, is a VERY disparate man. A man who's wrestling career is slowly going down the toilet. A man who needs every kind of high profile match against high profile talent as he can get to stave off becoming what he already is, but is in denial of admitting. A NOBODY.
The dagger like words of Jasta continue further.
But much like the rest of your feeble career my friend, you're to late. You see, I'm already booked to wrestle tonight. Defending this here National Title against a man who's actually going places in the business, Van Hayden. And even if I weren't, I'd still not entertain EVER wrestling you again. You see, I do this for sport. For challenge. I don't care about anything less then total victory. It doesn't matter how it's attained, so long as my arm is raised in victory. And your earlier words hammer home that ideal. "If things would have went my way..." The words of a failure through and through. Failures try to justify their loses. They try to make themselves feel good after being beat. But the fact of the matter is, you were beat. PERIOD. It doesn't matter how close you came to winning. You didn't. End of story. Maybe if you started to get that through that thick, heavily moused skull of yours, you might see some changes.
You haven't earned the right...yes...The RIGHT to face me again. I have nothing to gain in facing you. But you have EVERYTHING to gain in facing me. You defeating me would be a career defining moment. Me defeating you would be business...as...usual. *Hmmph* And I have bigger fish to fry, my friend. Much bigger. But I fancy myself a fair man. So I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I'll give you two weeks to prove yourself worthy of my challenge. You find two opponents for the two episodes of Takedown. And you BEAT two opponents. And at Soul Survivor, whether I'm still champion or not, I'll give you the rematch you so disparately crave. But if you don't? You never so much as speak my name again. I want to move forward to bigger, better things in my XWA career. And you're neither. That's ALL you'll get from me at this point. Take it...or leave it.

You know as well as anyone else that I will go through anyone to get to you. If I need to go through two guys, then I will. If I need to go through five guys, then I will. I will prove myself that I am worthy of a match with you. And when I defeat those two individuals, I will see you at Soul Survivor where I will defeat you and establish myself as a dominant force in XWA.
However, that leaves Mayday. I still have no opponent. I know there isn't much time left. So who from the back that isn't involved in anything wants to take me on?

Me. Anthony Xavier, Michael's brother makes his appearance on the stage. Now, you know that normally, I wouldn't suggest this, but given the circumstances that we both don't have matches and time is running out, I say we have a good ol' fashion Brother vs Brother's match.
And not just a simple 1 on 1 match.
You see Michael, men of our caliber, of our experience, deserve something more. No matter who says what, you know, as well as I do that we are veterans of the sport. We are good. We are great, we helped make this business what it is today. And now, we'll raise it even further.
Now, because you gave the challenge, it's only right that you have the first pick of the match. However, I know you quite well. I know what match you'll say. That match, is a tables match.
The next match, will be one that I'm experienced in. A last man standing match.
The final match, should it go to that, will be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.
3 matches possible. Putting our bodies on the line for the fans. To show just how much we give our bodies for this sport. So what do you say Michael...are you in?

You know me too well Anthony. And you're right. No matter what Jasta may say, I have helped shape this sport into what it's become. There's just one difference. You do this for the fans. I do this to prove that I am better than everyone else. And that starts at Mayday. Anthony, you are going to be the first of many to fall before me. And then after a few more fall, my attention turns back to Jasta.
So the both of you better be prepared. Because this is going to be a Michael Xavier that no one has seen before. And with that, Michael tosses the mic aside and leaves the ring. He walks up the ramp and passes by Anthony. He looks over at Anthony and gives him an evil eye. He then continues on into the back.
