Just mere moments after defeating Zlabe in a hard fought battle which could easily be considered the best match of there young careers, Adam doesn't celebrate as usual. Instead, after the ref raises his hand, he rolls down out of the ring and heads to the timekeeper's table. He snatches up the mic and aims the beginning of his address to Zlabe.

Whoa now, cut the music. Cut the music. Zlabe, for being the arrogant, loud mouth California boy that you are, I give credit were it's due. I can see who you managed to be a Pure Champion. You've got talent. Talent that could get you anywhere you want. Yet you choose to be an underling of that bastard Gallas. And for what? To get ahead of everyone else? Because he made a promise of power to you in some way? If you think fightin' for him is gonna get you anywhere, you're NUTS! As soon as you've run out your usefulness to him, he'll knife you in the back and toss you in a ditch. But I know I'm just talkin' into the wind right now. ESPECIALLY since you were "supposedly" ordered to take me out, and as we all can see failed to get the job done.

So who's it gonna be next, Sabby? Maybe Darrius And Wrekk? Or perhaps that nutjob Sledge. Maybe you'll even sick Thanatos on me again. Well just Like I did with Zlabe here, I'll do the same against any and ALL of your flunkies. I'm not gonna be intimidated by you. You can through the house at me, and I'm gonna keep on fightin' you. You have NO IDEA what you've just started Gallas. But believe me 100% when I say I'M GONNA FINISH IT!!![/color]

Sabastien emerges from backstage. The look on his face is one that's unamused by the failure of Zlabe to get the job done. He speaks with anger behind every word.

For 6 months you've been a thorn in my side, Devlin. 6 months you have stood in my way of getting what's rightfully MINE. And even now, as I sit atop the world, you still defy me to no end. Had we met in another life, I would almost consider you an equal from the spirit you have. Then enduring sword of justice. But that's not the case here. All you are to me now...is a LIABILITY. A bothersome gnat I can't seen to get rid of. It's come to the point where I can't even depend on my...as you put it "flunkies" to get the job done. You're either very good, or very lucky, Mr. Devlin. And I must admit, it's beginning to look like the prior of the two. But there's a thin line between being good, and being GREAT. And I have something special in store for YOU at ID07. You asked who I can possibly through at you next? The answer is simple. A man who has PROVEN his worth in gold. A man who has in his time in XWA Bled "The Prodigy" dry and shown Blade Myers the folly of his foolish ways. Allow me to introduce you, to the man who will bring forth your END in XWA...

Out from behind the curtains steps the one and only Bryan Jasta. With a sly smirk on his face, he'd been slowly anticipating the day he might get a chance to face Devlin. Now, thanks to Sabastien, he finally has it. He's handed the mic and begins to speak.

Adam Devlin. The man with no fear. Amongst the XWA roster, one of the company's most prized athletes. In so little time you've gained so much recognition. You're "The Hero". The "Good Guy". And then you have me. The man they call The Spartan. The calculating, tactical vagrant. "The Bad Guy". It's only fitting that Gallas send me to finish what a failure like Zlabe over there, Duke and Wrekk, and even his own "General" couldn't do. That being TAKE YOU OUT. But by all means, Mr. Devlin. Don't think I have a grudge against you. No no. For me, it's all business. The reason I'm even in XWA to because I get paid to do what I do best. Hurt people. It's what I do, and I'm quite good at it.

Jasta points at Adam.

You're days have just become numbered, Devlin. Cherish them. Because you next match may very well be your LAST.

Adam was almost impressed. The last thing he expected was for Gallas to bring someone the likes of Jasta to the dance. But in a way it made sense. Jasta for months had allied himself with Primo, and it was common knowledge that Primo and Gallas had history from the rings of Europe. Bryan Jasta was a shooter. A fighter to the highest level of the word. A man who has no remorse, and no hidden agendas. Adam knew his words were exactly what he said. He didn't care about attaining status. All he wanted was to maim people. But Adam wasn't about to become one of them.

Bryan Jasta, eh? WOW! I gotta say you REALLY out did yourself this time. To be honest with you, I was hoping you'd up the ante a bit. I'm kinda getting tired of you throwing guys who can't see past there own stale egos at me.

As for YOU Jasta, you're sadly mistaken if you think you're gonna walk all over me. The rude awakening for you is gonna be when I lay your ass out just like everyone else Gallas has tossed my way. Then...I come AFTER your "General", and then I FINISH THE JOB ON YOU, GALLAS!!! You'd better hope that you, you're french buddy standing next to you, and that big nosed pasta pusher Primo have what it takes to last the long haul. Because I'm comin' to your house, I'm knockin' at your door, and I'm TAKING THE FIGHT TO YOU!!! Either I'm takin' you out, or you take me out Gallas, but ONE OF US isn't gonna be around to see Xgames in MSG. That much I can PROMISE you.[/b]

I couldn't POSSIBLY agree more. Since you seem so confident...so EAGER to defy me to no end. Why don't we up the stakes at ID07 then? Something up to your speed. You will fight Bryan Jasta in a Last Man Standing Match. But since you're so adiment to oppose me, I doubt you'll find any fault in such a match, will you?

With an evil smile, Sabatien looks to Jasta with glee. If there was one thing he knew, it was that Devlin doesn't back down. Even if he's outmatched. And in a LMS match, Jasta clearly holds somewhat of an advantage.

Always looking for a way to out do his rival, Adam sees fit to 1up "The Boss" even further.

Me and Jasta in a Last Man Standing match? For a minute there I was almost worried. I've been the last man standing since the day your sick, French ass came on the scene. And I see what you're doing. Trying to stack the odds on me versus a guy who's a complete animal in MMA style matches. Well guess what, I know a few guys who paid me a visit in NYC who'll tell you I do pretty damn well in street fights. And that's what you're in for, Jasta. A FIGHT!!! I know you get off on conflict an all, so I'll be happy to meet you in this ring, and hand you the ass kicking of a LIFE TIME. Consider it ON.
