"Loving It" by Little Brother begins to play and the Philadelphia crowd comes to their feet. Xander Xavier Luther steps out from the backstage area to a standing ovation.

BuZZ: This crowd is absolutely stoked right now!

Roach: Well folks, XXL made his return to action at Vendetta in the Showdown Battle Royal to everyone's surprise. It's good to see the man back in the XWA right now I tell ya!

BuZZ: So are you on the hype wagon right now of him being an "uncrowned champion"?

Roach: Well that's a hotly contested issue right there because he did in fact relinquish the XWAWorld Championship for uncompromisable reasons, so yeah...I would absolutely agree with that notion. It's like the man said at Vendetta, Ethan Bain won the title but he didn't defeat the champion.

The announcers continue to debate the issue while XXL walks the aisle slapping five to the fans. He steps into the ring where he's handed a mic and pauses to take in the wild crowd. The Wachovia Center is filled with the chant of "DOU-BLE-X-L" with the five claps following. He grins and chuckles for a few seconds and after at least a minute in the ring of not saying a word he does.

Now if that's not a warm welcome back than I don't know what is. *cheers* Man, you have no idea how much I missed this all. Being in this ring, talking to the greatest wrestling fans in the world, *more cheers* and doing what it is that I've spent the better part of 3 years training to do. You know, 2008 was supposed to be my year. This was supposed to be the time that I carried the XWA as the World Champion and held that title with pride, defending it against the best competition in the world. But that was all just not to be.

Last December, I got careless. I got aggressive in the face of an enemy and in the long running, the war wounds were too much for me to be able to keep the title and defend it the way it should be defended, so I had no choice but to relinquish it. I'll say it right now...I messed up. I messed up bad, I admit it. Now, right now I stand before you all right back at square one. It's like last year I completed the game, but the reset button got pressed before I could save it, so now I've got to start over again...but that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Tonight, my 2008 season officially begins. Tonight, I'm ready to fight, ready to sweat and ready to bleed to get mines. This right here is that first step on the long road, and for me it's "Ride Or Die" right now.

His eyes fixate on the camera closest to him...

And as you can see...wherever you are, and you know WHO you are...I'm still riding. You can knock me down, but you'll never keep me down, remember that!

So...you know it's been a while since I came down and laid out a open contract challenge for a match, seems like people were coming after me instead...but that's just how it is right now. I'm not one of the ones who's at the dinner table right now getting full. I'm one of the guys who's hungry and banging at the door to get in on the feast. The question is who out there is just as hungry? Who thinks they are is more accurate actually. I want a fight tonight, and somebody back there is going to give it. Come out wherever you are!

Pryce's music hits the arena. and the man who had recently made his return to XWA TV walked through the curtain. the look on his face was of delight. could he be about to face a former World Champion

Well Well Well. if it isn't the former World Champion. sorry to hear about your failure to re-gain a shot at the title. * Pryce Laughs* well actually i could listen to it for another few hours if i was really that bored. because you see. you did mess up, and now you do have to start from square one. but Square one isn't just any ordinary guy, this square is made of Platinum and only those worthy enough step on it. so i am certain you think you are Worthy enough, but here is my question, Are you ready?

Now last year was a good year for you. but this year isn't, you started late giving everybody a head start. and now we have all surpassed you in the race. so you are going to have to climb high if you want another shot at gold. but i plan on getting the belt too. and i want to know, can i take out the Uncrownd champ before he gets another shot. or will i fail at square one. so what do you think about facing me at Mayday eh?

Suddenly Xander can spot someone being pushed in the curtains, he can some arguing also

hey why it's gotta be me? Aren't there tons of other guys in the roster who'd wish to do this?!

There are, but as a member of "The XWA Welcoming Comitee" you got to face new and returning superstars, and XXL is one of them

Allright so basically the little chances I have to be on PPV, I am gonna be squashed!

Nah! You are 6'11" this will be balanced, now get your ass out!

Suddenly videogame music hits the air as Chet Dixon is pushed through the curtain, he has a mic in his hand and doesn't look happy about being thrown to the lions, as Chet walks his way down the ramp he does some little dancing, as he's more concerned about his opponent, he cautiously gets in the ring and rises the mic to his lips

He... Hey XXL, how are you doing? Is Hayley OK? Er.. I assume you are all pissed off about losing your title due to a cheap shot assault that injured you but I assume that well, time stitches all wounds

And well look at what happened here, I came here to enjoy seeing my brother compete in a match for the Heavyweight title, and I find myself involved in a match against a former Heavyweight champion... It's the Dixon Wiggler vs XXL, I think the bets can't be more even

crowd cheers as a scared Chet is pretty funny

I am actually believing my own lies! Just don't kill me! I am 24! And that gypsy tarot card reader said I'd be a main eventer in my 25th birthday! And that cost me 300 $! I am already on a tight budget due to all my matches being preliminary and I live with Kristin and you have no idea how much she spends... "Chet I like this blankets", "Chet I like this, Chet I like that"... She's a hole in my pocket!

Chet realizing Kristin could be hearing him, turns to the camera and speaks

And a lot more Kristin Well as I was saying... XXL may the best... man... win... But if this is gonna be my last match, let me do something first!

Chet demands for music to be played, as he starts dancing much to the fans' delight

Yet another response to XXL's challenge comes in that of Jimi Hendrix's "Fire", and you could just feel the electricity in the arena when the track kicked it.

BuZZ: Oh damn.

Roach: Indeed. This...this is not what I was expecting right here. The R* is in the house, and he's answering the call it looks like!

That he was. With a mic in hand he wastes no time.

Cut the music, cut it, cut it!!! Xander, Xander, Xander...do you have any clue what kind of buzz you're getting right now? The "uncrowned champion". Whoo hoo!!! There seems to be a case of title fever going on 'round here. Just look at that jabroni that I bled at Vendetta Jared Saint. One week he's getting schooled by me in the finer arts of "Getting Your Ass Kicked-ology", and the next he's out here trying to get himself a title shot!? Me-Oh-Me-Oh-My!!!

I could pick my damn spot in the company right now. You name the title and Robby Sylk is a contender for it, cuz that's just how I roll! If there's anyone in the XWA right now that's an uncrowned champion it's me...and you know what's even more ironic Luther? I've got YOU to blame for that!

Robby starts pacing the stage while he continues.

Let's rewind to XGAMES1 big man, The Last Dance. You and me were the last two men in the ring and you ruined it all. RUINED!!! That night was supposed to be the night that I take over this company. That night was the night that Robby Sylk was to become on top of being the sexiest beast in the XWA...the champ! THE champ!!! And you mucked that all up, just to wind up getting injured and having to give the damn thing away!? If you would have just laid down and let me win that night like I was supposed to, none of this would be happening. We wouldn't having a muscle bound, boredom-fest as the World Champion STILL. God, the only freakin' difference between you and Bain is your skin color! I listen to you talk and I have to pop some uppers to keep myself a-freakin-wake!

The crowd starts to boo Sylk's outburst.

Ah, now we're getting in the spirit aren't we Philly? You bitches SUCK!!! You'll never win a damn title in your lives, so why don't let the guys who actually have a chance to win the big one talk it out... and shut the hell up!

You talk about being hungry, Xander? Well that's you, cuz you see I'm a Champagne & Caviar kinda guy...and I'm well fed. While everyone else in the bitch is busy braggin', boasting or bitching like that other Xander was earlier...wah-wah-wah, I need a hanky...Viewer Discretion leads by example. We get it done, period. As a team and in singles competition, Marcus and I are UNDEFREAKINFEATED!!! That's how you get fed, Luther. An just like that, three men came along and answered. He would have been happy with just one, but three? What a situation.

Well, I guess I should fire back in order here then, shouldn't I? Pryce...or whatever your name is cuz I swear that your name was Jacques before wasn't it? Take it from someone who knows how it feels to hold platinum, even if it was just for the off-season...that's not something that you can just say you're worthy of. You need to prove it. I might be at square one, but whether you like it or not you're right there with me and it's dog eat dog. I don't plan on getting bitten by you or anyone else for that matter, and when the time comes that I do get my due...there won't be any question in ANYONE'S mind that I'm worthy.

There is no head starts for anyone, and I'm not going to have to work any harder than I do or have already because that's been enough for me to get where I am right now. One things for damn sure though, I'm not a stepping stone. I'm the REAL DEAL. My time will come, and that's just how that goes, dog.

Now Chet...you're a really interesting guy. The fans like you, I gotta respect that but you oughta know by now that in this business there are no promises and no guarantees. You also oughta know that there's no way that I could go easy on you or anyone else who I'm up against for that matter. The nature of this business is to give it everything that you've got, and if you can't then it's time to hang 'em up. That's just how that goes...

...and Sylk. Robby-Rob, you bet your ass I remember XGAMES1. Nobody will ever take that night away from me, and if you've chosen to take it as personally as you have than that's all on you my man. Don't make the mistake of disrespecting me though, because it was long a hard road that I took to get to that point. You say you're champagne and caviar, well I'm Pepsi and a Cheesesteak...Philly Style *Cheap Pop!!!*, and me being who I am I'll never sit on what it is that I've done. I'm more focussed on what I want to do, and in all reality that's get right in the place that you're in right now.

I'll give it to you Robby, you're a power player right now, and I have indeed caught you in action this year. Don't think for a second though that I can't take your spot though, and then take the TOP spot one more time. You see, you guys must think that just because I've been gone that I forgot what it takes to make it in the X-Dub. You're sadly mistaken, and you will be sadly mistaken tonight.

He nods. His mind's made up on who he's going to face.

That's because tonight in this ring, I'll take on all three of you Elimination style! There's plenty of XXL to go around gentlemen, and it sounds to me like you all want a piece...so as Keith Wyle would say...there you have it! Take it or leave it!

Wow Three Big names in XWA ready for battle. Xander, you said i need to prove myself worth of the belt. well tonight Will be the start, by taking out three big names in a grueling match. it will be my pleasure to show all of you how good i have become. But however i am not stupid, i know i look like the weak link in this match and that i am really out of my depth. But i will prove myself even if i don't win somebody will be left with a Platinum Edition Headache

Pryce again laughs. what is up with this guy

what am i talking about. man am i Mr Contradiction. there is no doubt that i am going to win this match. i mean come on look who i am facing. it is the biggest opportunity to show that i deserve to be in Boot Camp. oh well looks like i will be leaving the tick in the Win column. and to be honest there really isn't much that any of you can do. Xander you are going to be a stepping stone for me whether you do it consciously or not

Robby Bobby Sobby or whatever your viewer discretion rubbish is all about. the nerve you have saying to hell with me. Chet understandable but me. i can and will take you out before all of these viewers. i don't care if viewer discretion have a problem with Xander, you get what i leave of him. and heck I'd even wager that the scraps of Luther could beat you in under 4 minutes. so get ready to be pinned and beaten by Me. then you can have your little Ratings war with Xander later

And Chet. to be honest i will beat you. nothing personal, cause i like your style. but i will pin you so no hard feelings eh. and you never know i may give you what is left of both of these men for a parting gift. you never know

The Top spot every bodies talking about will be mine. and that is not just cause i am the coolest. and its not just cause i am the future. it is because i hold everything in my hand. and i have to tell all of you. I have a killer hand. so elimination style great. but i cant promise that any of you will survive

Just listen to this guy will ya? Yeah, sure "ChristianPryceuntilyou changeyournametosomethingelseagain", you're right...you do deserve to be in Boot Camp...seeing as BOOT CAMP is what the WOMEN will be wrestling in. Maybe you actually might have a chance if you go up against the Diamonds, but that's a stretch.

But deserving to be in the ring with me? Oh no my man you're on some really bad narcotics if you think that. Maybe you need to go to your dealer and ask for a refund or something. Me, I'm gonna get exactly what I want when I want and that right now is to put you in your proper places, being A) under me and B) on the mat. Well...what am I saying, you're pretty much in category A right now as it is...it's B that I'm looking forward to.

You might luck out and knock off Dixon there, hell who hasn't right? But when you lock horns with me Pryce you're rocking with the best, and you should expect no less than to get that ass handed to you on a plate!

Xander, you're the shot caller here...and if I have to put these dogs down tonight to get to you then so be it. But after these two are out of the way, you and I have some business to take of care of. just spare me the where I come from or how I got here crap though OK? It's tired. Lemme break it down to you like this, we're here now and that's all that matters. The only thing that matters more is what we do while we're here, and in my case that's win, win and win some more.

Seeing the opposition tonight, I don't think that's gonna change much. I've been in a multi-man match this year remember, and I kicked those jabronis asses all the same, what in God's green earth makes you think tonight's gonna be any different with Mr. Identity Crisis and the man who couldn't find a way to win if it sat in his lap and called him daddy?

There was a look of serious determination in XXL's eyes when he answered Sylk's question.

I'll tell you what makes it different, or what's going to make it different this time around. It's a simple answer answer actually and it just so happens to XANDER. XAVIER. LUTHER. The last time you and I were in a match like this, I put you on your back. You can come in thinking whatever you want to think and saying whatever you want to say, but I'm determined to make this my night, and I'm not taking any shorts in making that happen.

I'll tell you what's tired though gentlemen, shades wearing pretty boys who think they can talk their way to the top. Tonight you're gonna find that there's a big obstacle in your way to getting there. You know what's better than getting to the top of the mountain? Getting there, falling off and then climbing back there again. Makes it so much sweeter because like I said before when that happens there are no questions asked. That all starts here tonight with you, you and even you, so I would suggest less of the talking and more the preparing for the fight of your lives, yes? That sounds good to me...

The only one's who're gonna need to prepare tonight is these two jack-offs over here. Pryce, Dixon...you're in the big leagues now, so it's all just a matter of put up or shut up, and tonight I'm gonna make sure that the both of you shut up right after I kick your teeth down your throats!

You all want the spotlight, huh? Well you gotta earn that boys. You get a chance for it tonight, but it's just not gonna happen...not when you're in the ring with the biggest star in the XWA...then...now...or ever!!!

Sylk tosses the mic to the mat at that point. What was needed to be said was said, and now it was time to go back and prepare for the match.

oh really well in that case if Mr sylk like to make threats then i am sure that he wont mind taking a few. because tonight the big leagues are on notice. because i will be in there soon enough. and for you well you'd better be on your top Game Sylk cause you don't want to be imprinted with Platinum, cause when you are you don't get back up.

and that goes for both you XXL and Chet. tonight is my night. and none of the other aspirations will stop me from getting what i should soon hold in my career. the XWA World Championship.

Pryce drops his mic and heads up to prepare for his big match.
