Pain blares over the PA, and out steps Jared Saint. He goes down to the ring and calls for a mic.
[glow=red,2,300]How is it going Philly? Now I know all of my fans are still mad at Robby for beating me, but lets put that behind us for now. I have came out here for a more important reason. I want some Gold! I have decided to go up against "The Death Metal Goliath" Kayn. I know about all the people you have beaten. I really don't care. To me all of those people were not experienced! I am the best damn wrestler here in XWA. You may have defended that strap 2 times, but I am telling you right now you will not beat me. You want to know why? Because I FIGHT TO WIN!! Now Kayn get your big ass out here and fight me![/glow]
Jared waits for Kayn to come out and respond...

*As Jared lowered his mic, the crowd chanted for the Pure champion. It seemed Jared was just about to raise his mic after a few moments of nothing, however just then “Hammer Smashed Face” plays over the PA system announcing the arrive of Kayn. The Philadelphia crowd came to their feet as Kayn walked onto the stage area with the Pure title draped over his shoulder. Kayn smiled at the crowd, then walked down the ramp to the ring, with the typical high fives to the crowd. Kayn climbed in the ring and asked for a mic of his own, which the ring announcer gladly turned over to him. His music faded, but the crowd still chanted his name, which prompted Kayn to look at the crowd and smile. He then raised his mic.*
“Well Jared, I have to say, you’ve got some guts calling one of the XWA’s most dominate champs.”
*The crowd cheered as Kayn continued.*
“You’re right, I have only defended this title so far twice, but you gotta take a look at who those wins were against. Both men were former Pure champions, so I wouldn’t say they weren’t experienced. However, you’re entitled to your own opinions, just like the opinion that you are the best in the XWA. However, I would have to disagree with that statement, because what you see standing in front of you is what, I’d like to think, Mr. Gallas had in mind when he created the Pure division and what he would have as a champion.”
*The crowd explodes as they seem to agree with Kayn.*
“You don’t think I can beat you because you fight to win? That’s good, but you need to remember one thing Jared. I refuse to lose.”
*Kayn lowers his mic and waits for a response from Jared.*

[glow=red,2,300]You refuse to lose, huh? Well let me telly you I will win this title and I gurantee it. Just to make this match more fun, I challenge you to a Ladder match. What do you say?[/glow]

*Kayn smiled a little, then raised his mic.*
“Well while that would be a great match in itself, according to the official rules of the Pure division, the Pure title can only be contested in a match were the decision is made by pinfall or submission, so a ladder match would not be a Pure match and therefore can not be a match for the title. However I’m still game to put the title on the line in a Pure rules match against you right now tonight.”
*Kayn waits for a reply from Jared.*

[glow=red,2,300]Hehe. I just got the most brilliant idea. I want to face you for that Pure Title in a TLC Match. Tables and ladders and chairs, oh my! I know I lost the last one, but I have changed. I have gotten better and stronger. Now Kayn, What do you say to that, big guy?[/glow]

*Kayn smiles and shakes his head. He raises his mic and speaks again.*
“Jared, I appreciate your gusto, I can tell you really want to hold this title, however *Kayn reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a small book.* if you’re going to shoot for a specific title, you’ve got to do a little more research on the rules for that title. What I have in my hand is the official XWA rule book and under the Pure division section it states…
‘One of the most unique championships in the industry today, the XWAPure Title is all about tenacity and fortitude. Pure matches never leave the ring, ropebreaks are not monitored and weapons are not allowed, meaning the winner of a Pure match must be the one who pins his opponent or makes his opponent submit-no other way.’
*Kayn then closes the book and puts it back into his back pocket.*
“So you see Jared, TLC matches, Table matches, Ladder matches, any type of matches like that aren’t ‘Pure’ so you can’t have a Pure title match as one of those matches, that’s more for the X-Gen title. So if you want a shot at this title, it has to be in a Pure rules type match. No other way. So what do you say?”
*Kayn then lowered his mic and waited for Jared’s reply.*

[glow=red,2,300]No weapons? Damn. Well that leaves me with only one choice...A Pure Rules Shootfight!. I have been in some of the best shootfights against some of the best. Now that we have the match rules settled, Let's get it on.[/glow]
