The time is here.
It was almost time for the match to start. Vendetta had gone onto a commercial break and when it returned, the National Championship match would begin. Romeo was getting nervous at this point but he was still ready to go into the match and give everything that he had in him. This match was going to be one of the biggest matches of his career because it is his first title shot and he could end Jasta’s streak. A streak that many have tried to end but just couldn’t in the end. Many have doubts that Romeo will even give him a match, but he will show them all that he will give Jasta a hell of a match. Even if Romeo doesn’t come away with the win, he will be happy if he knows that he gave it his all in the match.
He stood up from his seat in his locker room and made his way to the door. He was pumped and ready for the match which he was going to walk into. He knew what would happen if he made a mistake so he had to be ready. He walks out the door and begins making his way to the stage area. As he was walking he is stopped by someone…

Davis found himself pre-empted by that of Tommy Tryton. Tommy gives him a look up and down and smirks. It took a lot to impress him, and what he saw didn't even come close. With a mocking tone, Tommy speaks.
Answer me something. What possesses a guy with just 3 wins under his belt against for better or worse "mid-Level" talent to think he can even hold a candle to someone like that Jasta dude? I...I wish I had my phone on me. Because right now would be the perfect time to take a picture. How many times in life does one ever get the chance to watch a man make the long walk to his execution? You've gotta be about the most simple minded, mislead glutton for the mother of all ass kickings I've ever laid eyes on.
Tommy snickers to himself and adds...
I mean, just look at this. You've only been in action a month, and you're jumping into shark infested waters with a GREAT WHITE. I could understand perfectly if you were coming off of some impressive wins, but I've seen your fights. They ain't all that. There's something to be said about wanting to test your ability against the best, but dude. Jasta's got more wrestling skill in his big toe then you will...well...

*Heh* I'd say good luck to you, but there isn't enough luck in a field of 4 leaf clovers that could save you tonight. But at least it'll be fun to watch. *heh heh heh*
What effect would Tommy's cutting words have?

He has heard it over and over again and it will not change. He already knew everything that Tommy had told him and he knew that it would come up until after the match was over. Romeo just wanted a shot at one of the best to test his skill, but everyone seemed to question why he wanted the match.
It seems like everyone is asking the same question there man. Yeah, I know, what was I thinking when I challenged Jasta to a match? Hmm…That’s a damn good question there Tommy. Did you come up with that yourself of did you just hear it from a bunch of other people. I wanted a challenge for myself. I wanted to wrestle against one of the top superstars in the XWA. But hey I guess that when you are a rookie, you aren’t allowed to challenge any wrestler that is above you. Y’all just doubt me and well I’ll just accept that cause it’s not gonna change. So if you wanna go ahead and grab a phone with a camera and take a pic then go ahead. I have no problem with that. I’m confident in myself and I will go into the match with the same confidence that I had when I challenged Jasta to a match.
Romeo turns away for a second then adds on to what he was saying.
So if ya think this match is gonna be fun to watch then so be it. Come sit front row to watch it then. Come match me make my rooke mistake. Come watch me get desimated by Jasta. It’s gonna be a good showing. I don’t have time to deal with hearing ya say all this. I’ve heard it enough. So if you don’t believe that I won’t be able to basically 'touch" Jasta in this match, then so be it. You worry ‘bout your match agaist Jeff and I’ll worry ‘bout mine against Jasta.
Romeo continues on his walk as he passes by Tommy. Will Tommy say anything before Romeo made it around the corner?

Tommy smirks and responds to Romeo's comments as he walks of.
It's good that you believe in yourself. Real good. It's nice to be able to just go on blind faith, isn't it? *laughs* Much rather then walk into the minefield barefoot like you're doing tonight, I'll pick my spot when the time is right, and rack me up some CREDIBLE wins in the mean time. Instead of making myself the sacrificial lamb for a guy everyone pretty much knows is gonna each you alive and spit out blood covered bones. I just hope you at least make it just a little bit entertaining.
Tommy smiles proudly at himself as his words cut even deeper then his last tyraid.

Yeah bro, it is good that I believe in myself. I don’t think y’all know that you can do anything that you put your mind to and well that is 100% true my man. Y’all are making Jasta sound like some beast who is gonna tear the skin and muscle off my bones. Go ahead and believe all that. I know that Jasta is prolly the best here in the XWA, but every single person can be beaten. So continue your thinking and I’ll make this match interesting for ya. Peace, I got a match to go to.
With that Romeo turns around and walks around the corner. He stood behind the black curtain awaiting for his theme music to be played.
