Who's fightin' Jimmy?

The theme of the reigning XWA X-Gen champ hits the PA, and the Tokyo fans show Jimmy the love he deserves. He steps out into the arena with the title held high, met with great fanfare from his loyal fans, now known the world over as the "Jimbos". Like always, on his way down to the ring he spots a hot chick in the front row. He makes his way over to her, and invites her to give him a plant on the cheek. She obliges to the roar of the crowd, and Jimmy slides into the ring. The charismatic champion calls for a mic, and addresses the Tokyo Dome.

XWA presents Vendetta 2008. What a show it's been so far, eh folks? But as good a show it's been. It just ain't a show with out Jimmy. It'd be like the Yankees without Derek Jeter. Or Manchester United without Wayne Rooney. Or Channelle without "That Ho" in front of her name. Ooops, did I say that out loud? It's only because she won't put out to me. Guess she doesn't like Texans.

The crowd gets a laugh out of Jimmy's classic antics. He shrugs jokingly before continuing.

All jokes aside, I'm out here for one reason, and one reason alone. This here X-Gen Title. A title I won at March Madness. A title I've put on the line, and defended twice against a pair of tough outs in Lionel Xander and Mike VolCano. Now I know about the whole "Jimmy Curse" runnin' around wrestling message board. About how I've never held a title past two defenses. To the nerds who think I don't have what it takes, as Holly Woodz would say...KISS MY ASS. Because Jimmy Ames is wrestlin' the best WRASSLIN' in his life. And what's scary? I'm no where even close to my prime yet. I'm what you call a Maverick as far as XWA goes. I was the 1st Pure champion. I am the 1st X-Gen champion. I'm the only man in XWA to ever hold two separate singles titles. Week by week, I write a new story in what's gonna be the legacy of wrestlings most kick ass superstar...

With his free hand, Jimmy points to himself and smiles his big Texas grin. The fans (mostly the female ones) cheer loudly. Jimmy continues once more.

So here's the deal. Anyone in the X-Gen division. I don't care if you've wrestled every show so far, or you haven't stepped in the ring yet. Doesn't make a difference. I'm a fightin' champ, and the champ is lookin' for a fight. So if you want one...come GET one.

The crowd cheers Jimmy on further. He awaits his challenger's arrival.

Just then, Tego Calderon's "Wassa Wassa" plays in the arena, and making his XWA debut, Pablo Reyes steps out into The Tokyo Dome.

Roach: Jimmy was looking for a challenger, and it looks like he's found one. What do you know about this kid, Buzz?

Buzz: I know that he's one of the most exciting young talents to hit XWA. Pablo Reyes has torn it up in the Indies of the Northeast US. If there's anyone who can match Jimmy Ames in that ring, he's walking to the ring right now.

Pablo climbs the ring steps and enters the ring. He takes a look at the champ Jimmy Ames and gives him a nod of respect before calling for a mic. He then answers the challenger.

Jimmy. I've got nothin' but the utmost respect for you. You've been doin' it, and doin' it BIG since day one. As one of XWA's youngest competitors, you're one of the company's most decorated superstars. The proof lies in everything you just said. The only man I see being even close to you as far as having the pedigree of a champion right now is that Jasta guy, and that's some damn good company to be mentioned with.

The crowd responds with cheer as Pablo gives the champ his respect.

Now I know I've get to even wrestle a match in XWA yet. But when I saw you out here last week, taking on and out doing Mike VolCano, I knew that I wanted my shot to be in the ring with you. And just my luck, you come out here and issue an open challenge. A challenge I'm more then game to accept. Am I confident that I can beat you? Hell yea. But I also know that there's a reason why you're X-Gen champion. Because you have a tendency to rise above and beyond the call. And I know on any given night, there ain't a man in XWA you probably can't beat. So I don't take you lightly by any means. And I know I'm starting out pretty big as far as making my 1st XWA match against the one of XWA's premiere talents. But how does one prove they belong any better then taking on the best of the best? That's what I'm here for. So Jimmy, I'm stepping up. And I'm accepting your challenge. You and me, in this ring, one on one...TONIGHT.

The electrified crowd cheers like crazy as the challenge was taken up by the newcomer, Pablo Reyes. He awaits the reply of Jimmy Ames.

Another game challenger. Jimmy was more then pleased. He raises his mic and quickly responds.

Pablo, right? I've heard more then enough about you to know that you ain't no push over. And that's just how I like it. It's just as I said, I don't care if this is your 1st match. I'm interested in one thing, and that's turning it up. And you and me? We're gonna light this sum'bitch on fire so much that they'll be able to see The Tokyo Dome from BOMBAY.

Jimmy extends his hand to Pablo.

May the best man win.

Pablo takes Jimmy's hand and the two young superstars shake on what was sure to be the 1st of many epic battles between the two.

Looking forward to seeing who it will be.

The crowd was on it's feet as they showed their appreciation for the mutual respect between Pablo & Jimmy.

Buzz: This is going to be one hell of a match, Mike. Proof positive that future of wrestling is NOW in XWA.

Roach: I couldn't have said it better, Buzz. Pablo Reyes. Jimmy Ames. The XWA X-Gen title. TONIGHT!

The scene then goes to the next segment.
