Marcus Samson joined the XWA early in it's first season as a promising powerhouse who aimed high. His tenure was cut short though by way a backstage attack that had sidelined him for month, until his return late in the year. Repackaged as the "War Machine", his second tenure failed to materialize due in part to creative endeavors that didn't go through and departures by others on the roster.
After a long hiatus spent in training and competing for lesser known and international promotions, Samson has decided once again to return to the XWA, and this time it's for real. He has taken up the nickname "Superman" in hopes of reaching the goals he's set forth for himself...to become wrestling's true Man Of Steel, and a superhero of the squared circle.
