The lights in the arena flash a familiar purple hue. Faithless' "God Is A DJ" sounds over the PA, and the Tokyo Dome comes unglued as Heather Fierhart makes her way into the arena. Giving high 5's on her way down the ramp, Heather seemed up beat and focused.
Roach: Here come da' QUEEN! But the kingdom hasn't been the same since the revelation served up just 3 weeks ago.
Buzz: No kidding. And at the forefront of it is Helena Troy. I'm still in shock over the fact that this apparent family feud has existed right underneath our noses.
Heather enters the ring, and is provided a mic.
Last week in Budokan Hall, I fell to the hype. I buckled to the pressure. I got pinned in a Tornado Tag match to Helena Troy. A woman who since entering XWA has pretty much taken the Diamond Division by storm. Last week, she and one of my other "friends" Bianca Dianaco joined forces to form what they call "The Black Diamonds". And they proved they're a force to be reckoned with.
Heather looks out to the crowd's reaction before continuing.
But Helena. You of all people should know that we're FAR from finished. If there's one thing I don't take to easily, it's losing. ESPECIALLY to someone I know that I can damn well beat. And I know I can beat you. Just like I know you can beat me. And that's why I'm standing here tonight. And that's...why THAT'S hanging above the ring.
Heather points to the Steel Cage above the ring. Th crowd responds with a thunderous cheer.
Buzz: I was wonder why the hell that was up there.
Ialready know that you're not just your average "diva". You can't be with with your last name. And you know that I'm no average diva either. You and I are the product of two of the most legendary wrestlers to ever grace the ring. I've worked damn hard the last 5 years to carve my own path from the shadows of my family name. As I know you have as well. Tonight, It's not about our names. It's about who WE are. About where we are in this industry, and our careers. Helena, to say this is personal would be the biggest understatement of all time. It's not that I have to beat you. It's that I WANT to beat you. Inside of a 15 foot high Steel Cage, where there's NOTHING left to chance.
Just a few moments after Heather finishes, The lights in the arena dim slowly...
