***Kim sat at the bar of a nice restaurant in Tokyo, she awaited the arrival of someone she hadn't talked to in some time, but someone who she helped train and now was on the constant path to victory here in XWA, Cosette. Kim had called her several hours ago, to meet up at this bar. It was over a year ago at Vendetta that Kim made her XWA debut, and it was against Cosette.***
Time to bring back memories.....come on Cosy.....

Cosette+ a busy social calendar was nat an equation she was used to, but here she was going out again during a show week. She was expecting to hear from Ash that night but this was a pleasant surprise as well. She really hadn't seen Kim since before the end of last season. Once she notices her old mentor sitting at the bar her eyes light up and she walks over taking the seat next to her.
Kim, it's good to see you again. It's been ages. How are you?

The feeling is mutual Cosy, and well as you've probably seen I've been miserable lately, or if you haven't I'll fill you in.....this whole beef with Sumya's been driving me up the wall and into some sorta slump.
Girl I remember first getting here last year, I took you under my wing....you were a rookie, I although new was a vet, and our first match together my first match in XWA was at Vendetta last year.
You put on a hell of a show, I still have the tape, but I came out on top and did several times after in our little scuffles until I caught someone elses attention with Hayley......similar to this situation, me and Hay trucked through both singles and as a team.
Leaving you to become the first Pearl Champ......
***Kim gave her a little punch in the arm***
......next thing you know, I was right there to get it from you after you had defended it successfully several times. Master vs apprentice, and I still came out on top.....until Sumya came into the picture and stole my thunder and the belt, beating me twice......
Then this year only once in a singles match.......its been humilating when I face her in singles compition Cosy, I remember my record last year I was nearly undeafeated like 4 loses, two were to Sumya, one a battle royale, the other a tag defeat.....
I just don't know if this match I made with Sumya is going to go my way, history has always proven that in tag competition I'm great against her, in singles competition it's a different story.....
***She stares at Cosette***
Cosy, you've improved so vastly over the time I've known you, how'd ya do it, I mean I'm a member of one of the most elite training facilites going and pumped, but we're so far away, the guys can't corner me in this fight. I need some advice, what did you do hunn ??

That was a mouthful.
Wait... you're taking advice from me?
Alright, I guess it's your funeral.
Earlier this year I needed to be at my best. I had to face someone important to me and I couldn't let myself slip. Things didn't work out the way I hoped, but I know it's not the end. Let's just say sometime, somewhere out there I know this is going to come to a fitting end.
I spent the entire off-season teaching and training at my martial arts school in London. It was fun, I like to get away from all this whenever I can. It was good, but I'm just not sure it's enough any more.
The fact is compared to last year I've lost a step as well. But I'll adapt, I'm already working on getting back to a formula that works and you should too.
If I can be perfectly honest, you really shouldn't let yourself get so worked up or things like this. So she beat you. Is it really worth doing that to yourself over every loss? Especially if it means Sumya gets exactly what she wants. You've let her demoralize you. Doubting you can beat her or anyone when you're off your game by a bit is useless.
But if you'd like something a bit more practical I'd say you're most of the way there. You know your opponent. You've seen what she does. So....
She shrugs, realizing she was about to spout off a preschool lesson.
Don't get kicked in the head?

***Kim laughed***
It's easier said than done.....watching her feet trying not to get kicked in the head is harder than it looks.
I've always tried avoiding it, but it is difficult.......I've studied her, I know she likes to brawl to use her martial arts type skills, and since she always sticks to her guns, I plan on pushing her to the limit this time around.
Our match me and her this time around at Vendetta, not only will I win, I'm putting an end to this fued......once and for all

She nods. Well at least this wouldn't have an effect for much longer.
I just hope things end the way you'd like. Best not to let this go any further. We both know there's no reasoning with Sumya and the longer you let this drag on the worse it'll be for your sanity. This won't shut her up but I'm sure it'll be very satisfying if you win.

Very satisfying indeed.......
***Kim smirked***
Why is that you ask.............because even though she thinks this is our final fight in this fued, which it is, and she is going to rub it in that she has beat me more than once even when I'm gonna beat her at Vendetta.......I'm gonna make sure that she never EVER FORGETS MY NAME BY THE END OF VENDETTA.
***Kim was determined***
