It was a running DDT, almost out of desperation it would seem that was Marisol's undoing at Budokan Hall. After being dropped on her head, before she knew what hit her Channelle made the cover and scored another victory over her on this night. Things came into perspective once Channelle's theme had begun to play over the PA. Looking up to see the woman getting her hand raised by the referee, Marisol remembered what was said earlier between the two. The fact that Channelle was determined to do whatever it took to win was echoing through her head at that point, while her head was ringing from being slammed to the mat.
That wasn't the only thing that was in her mind right now. She looked outside of the ring, lifting herself up off of the ground and Tadako was making her way inside with a concerned expression on her face. To have fallen here in front of her was a huge disappointment. She didn't even want to look at her trainer/mentor at that point.
I...I'm sorry I failed you, Tadako-sensei...

The disappointment in Marisol's eyes was quite evident as she spoke. Tadako knelt down in front of her.
I am not disappointed in you, Mari-chan. You did everything right in this match. It merely came down to your opponent using the right move at the right time. This battle could have gone either way, but win or lose you have shown me tonight that you are using my teachings well.
An almost motherly smile crosses her lips as she helps her student to her feet.

Breathing a sigh of relief as she stood on her heels, Mari finally mustered up the courage to look Tadako in the eyes now. She smiled back at her, but barely enough to be noticeable as they made their way out of the ring.
I still lost the match though. That's all that matters in the end. I let this perra get the drop on me. I'll never hear the end of it from her.
