The match is over and the referee hands Jamie the Pearl Championship once more. It was another good night and another impressive showing for her against one of the most well-known women in the entire industry. As her theme song played and the fans of Tokyo showed their appreciation in the form of applause and cheers, she raised the title in victory with a huge smile on her face.
Her attention then turned towards her opponent Amber Gianni and extends her hand to her opponent in a show of respect to help her up...

What was a good description of what had happened just moments before? Overwhelmed? Overpowered? Whatever the wording may be the fact of the matter was that Jamie Fury demonstrated that she was as good as advertised. If the two convincing wins she had against Cosette Grace didn't tell the story, another one this night against her certainly did.
She leans herself up on a single arm, her breathing heavy after giving it all she could give tonight in the hopes of becoming a champion for the very first time. The words of Jamie from earlier held true though, as much as anyone wanted to be champion she apparently wanted to remain one that much more, and she sure as hell proved that fact here. To her surprise though, Amber looks up and see the statuesque Pearl Champion not far from her, arm outstretched to actually help her to her feet. It was just a few weeks ago that they spoke briefly backstage and from that conversation Amber gathered much about this woman, most importantly the fact that she seemed to be very much the professional. Again, she was proving that fact here as well by this gesture.
All she could do was accept it with a smile and grasp Jamie's hand with her own. One good tug and Amber was on her feet. There was a bit of disappointment in her heart for not getting the job done, but the fact that she was beaten by someone like Jamie, someone who had respect for what she was and for who she was made it feel not nearly as bad. That was the one thing that comforted Amber in her loss to Kiss as well...the fact that she didn't lose to a bad person. That would've killed her.
Wow...did you see that freight train that just hit me?

Jamie gets a laugh from Amber's joke. The fact that she could take defeat with a smile only proved that she herself was a stand up gal as well.
I wouldn't worry too much about tonight. You'll get another chance to be a champion, trust me on that.
It was true. It probably wouldn't be very long at all before Amber gets another opportunity down the road. Maybe it would be the Pearl Title, maybe Jamie would still be in possession of it when that happens, maybe it might even be for the Diamond Title, who knows?
The night might have been Jamie's but there was no reason to bask in it much. This was Japan after all, and these people appreciate sportsman-or woman-ship more than anything. She raises her arms to the fans in attendance and Amber's as well. The two woman receive a resounding ovation from the fans.
Roach: What a show of respect there being displayed by both of these ladies. The fans here in Budokan Hall are showing their appreciation...
BuZZ: Well, they just saw a helluva performance here tonight. I feel for Amber, she gave it her best shot but Jamie Fury has been on fire since she came onto the scene. Another successful defense of the Pearl Title tonight in dominant fashion, and now the question comes up...who can stop her?
Roach: We'll have to wait another week and see if someone else can pull that off.
