Takedown was over and the crowds were gone. Romeo Davis had stepping into the arena area once again. He was showered and sporting a pair of red Nike shorts and a plain white beater. He stepped into the seating area and looked down at the ring. Earlier in the night he had nailed The RD Factor and pinned Steve Toreno for the win. It was a pretty big win for him and also he had continued a great start in the business. Enough about that though. He walked down the aisle before stopping. He thought for a second about back home and how he missed his family. He defiantly enjoyed wrestling but there was a point where he missed his family dearly. He knew that they were alright so he continued to work in the XWA. At some point he would visit them just to see their faces. He went from home to Rome for wrestling training then back to the states only to leave the family again to join the XWA. It was tough, but this was his career and he simply loved it.
He had taken a seat to the right of the aisle. He sat and thought about what was going to happen next with him and the XWA. He also thought about life in general. It was good to be apart of the XWA. He continued to sit as the thoughts continued to flow through his mind.

"Wild Thing" James Bowen was about to leave the arena, when he saw Romeo sitting alone.
James: Hey, man, what's wrong?

As Romeo was sitting there with the thoughts still flowing through his mind, James Bowen had walked in on the scene. James had then asked Romeo what was wrong. There really wasn’t anything that was wrong with Romeo. He just missed his family a bit and he was just thinking about what was going to happen next in his career in the XWA. Romeo then looked over at James and responded to what he had asked him.
Nothing bro. Everything is actually real good. It’s just that I kinda miss the fam a bit but it’s all good. I was just here thinking about them and about my future here in the XWA. I was just trying to think of what I should do next here, ya know. What’s good with you man?

James: Well, I've been losing lately, but what I've always remember, when I started out, all the old guys gave me the rub; now, I'm returning the favor by giving the new talent the rub. Because, it's part of giving back to the business. I've accomplished a lot in the past 10 years, and winning and losing doesn't matter, as long as you love to wrestle.

James man, don’t worry about being on the losing end of matches. It happens to everyone. You have been wrestling for a long time bro. I believe ya when you said that you have accomplished a lot in your ten years of wrestling. For me, this is my rookie year and I’ve only accomplished three victories so far. You are a veteran and I am a rookie. I also agree me ya said that winning and losing doesn’t matter, As long as you love to wrestle. The first sport that I really liked was soccer. After that wrestling grew on me and now here I am man. Here I am in the XWA. So yea, don’t worry about the losses or anything like that. It’s about doing what you love to do. Besides man, I bet that you’ll get a victory soon enough.

James: I see a lot of potential in you, kid. Don't let anybody tell you anything different. Now I know being away from family, friends, girlfriends, is a huge price to pay in this business. Being on the road 250 to 300 days a year takes a huge toll on a human being, physically and mentally. I just hope you're ready for it.

Romeo had smiled after hearing James say that he had a lot of potential.
Thanks man. It means a lot when someone says that ya got a lot of potential. I’m just looking to be respected. I don’t like it when people hate on me when I really did nothing to them. But when it gets to that point then I let it be, but I won’t let them talk smack about me.
Romeo stopped speaking for a moment. He then returned to speaking to James Bowen.
Yea, I know that being away is a tough price to pay, but it’s worth it. I just have to get used to being away for long periods of time. But yea man, I am ready for the long road that is ahead. My second ever pay per view event is coming up and I’m trying to think of something big for me to do for the show. I’ve had a great start to my career and it’s time that I keep that rollin.’ I’m ready for anything in the future. Thanks bro.
