The "Tormentor" showed swift efficiency in a controlled environment. Terra stood and watch with joy as Stryfe had almost systematically broke down Blaze with a barrage of offense. He certainly didn't fight like a wrestler, but more like a warrior, utilizing many strike attacks. Even still Blaze saw to get a few shots in on Tyson himself, which he was none too pleased about.
Still a grin showed visibly on his face as Stryfe used a devastating kick to knock Blaze down for the 3 count, and as the ref's hand hit the mat for the third time Terra slid into the ring. The sight of this new but old rival on the mat was most gratifying. What to do now? Kick him while he was down? No...not this time. It would be much more entertaining to simply leave with words for him to remember...
Do you see that, Shaddix? That is who you're dealing with now. I always was more than meets the eye. You could have been on the winning team...now you're going to just be a victim of my will. This...is only the beginning.
The arena echoes with boos as Terra antagonizes him. Meanwhile Stryfe himself stands at the side, no remorse in his face, looking much like some dark statue of sorts...

It was a glorious battle. A galant effort from this soul, but Stryfe was not one to let another gain the upper hand. Even with no weapons or powers he was as formidable an opponents as any, giving this Blaze little chance to mount an offensive of his own. He had been in an arena like this before, standing alongside those in what was once known as The Brotherhood...but now he was...a tool. A means to an end, nothing more than "hired muscle" as he has heard said in his travels, but not even so...as he receives no compensation for his efforts.
Look at him. Terra gloating as if he was the one who felled this man. Stryfe thinks to himself that even without Terra in attendance the outcome would have been the same, but he ironic does have Terra and these "Monarchs" to thank. This shell which he finds himself in was created and honed for combat, and on this night he had passed his final test with flying colors. What was to become of him now, only time would tell...

Terra continues...
It's as I've said soooooo many times before. I am where the fairy tales come to an end. The book of Blaze is far from done being written, but now we start a new chapter. One where the spoils of victory in this war isn't fame or glory...it's...ha ha ha...
SIMPLE SURVIVAL.
Till we meet again Shaddix, and I assure you...we will.
On that note Terra leaves the ring and his "project" follows soonafter. Would Blaze come around?

With mere adrenaline pushing him on, Blaze jumps to his feet as Terra leaves the ring. This had been nothing more than a trap, an ambush. Leading Blaze into the slaughter. He hadn't been prepared for Stryfe....This time....
Now to his feet, the thought of what Terra had said about Lindsay and his daughter runs through his head. The feeling that Terra had actually gotten away with saying such things, it drove Blaze past his breaking point. In a blind rage, he slides out of the the ring and charges up the ramp. Catching up to Terra, he blind sides him with one of the hardest Incinerators he's ever hit. The sound of Terra's skull crashing to the ground is sickening. As Blaze attempts to rise back to his feet...
"Don't think you got away....with anything Terra....This war....It has....just begun..."
Out of breath, Blaze can barely pick himself back up once more. Slowly though, he manages to stand....
"It has just....begun...."
With a now somewhat satisfied look on his face, Blaze turns to leave. He had forgotten one thing though...Stryfe....Upon turning, he now stands toe to toe with the....'monster'.....
"Awwww hell....."

The attack was sudden, swift, without warning. That maneuver was certainly an effective one for being one that he had not given this Blaze a chance to strike on him. He did manage to fall Tyson with it though and it had seemed to have given him some kind of satisfaction in doing so...all up until he had realized once again that there were two men in his presence, well one actual MAN so to speak.
It was pure instinct that lead Stryfe to grabbing Blaze by the neck. His arm snapped around his throat with deft precision before he lifted the man off the ground and slammed him hard against the barriers that separated them from these rabid fans. They reveled in it all. It reminded him so much of the days of his mortal existence...
He grabbed Blaze up once again as he crashed into the solid padding and this time threw him all the way to the other side of the aisle in a quite uncanny feat of strength. The force had knocked the wind out of the man who was already running on fumes it seemed, using his last reserves of strength to "Incinerate" Terra. Still he slowly attempted to stand on his feet after words, while Stryfe sized him up for another decisive blow.
It was called the "Death Leg", the very move he had defeated Blaze with moments before. His foot swinging swift through the air and slamming into the side of Blaze's head sending him crashing to the floor yet again, his eyes glazed over from another shot to his skull.
This game had been fun, but now it grew tiring to him. Once more he picked Blaze up and this time hooked them man's arms under his own, his head low under Stryfe's torso. It would be another technique which he had demonstrated on Blaze during their bout, but this time it wouldn't be the canvas of the ring his head would meet, but the solid floor below.
The beginning? No...in mere moments this would be the end.

Unknown to the monster, his massacre was about to end. As Stryfe has Blaze held in the "pedigree" type maneuver , about to drop his head directly on the floor, the lights go completely out.
The crowd looks around frantically, trying to figure out whats going on....
All of a sudden, "Dying in your arms" by Trivium starts playing. The lights flash on and off like crazy. Everyone in the arena looks toward the stage, waiting to see who comes out. But no-one emerges.
When the music stops playing, the lights come on......and to everyones surprise, Psycho is standing directly behind Stryfe. The crowds cheering, knowing that Blaze and the man behind Stryfe have history together......
Stryfe begins to turn around, but before he gets completely around, Psycho throws a huge right hook, hitting the monster in the side of his head. The punch merely knocks Stryfe back...getting him off Blaze for the moment. He quickly, just a little to quickly, recovers, and jumps straight in to Psycho's face. The two monsters stand toe to toe, staring one another down......neither moving.......

The strike was enough to free the one called Blaze from his grip, and enough to make Stryfe turn his attention to the attacker. They stood eye to eye, unflinching. He could sense a strong will within Blaze, but in this one he sense...nothing. It was as if he had no soul to him, and interesting individual indeed.
It was clear that through this he would face many strong warriors were where very little if any bit intimidated by him and what it is that he could truly do. A battle rush come over him...the high one gets when engaged in combat, the thrill of the hunt, the strategy of the kill. How he missed these days...

Was....was it really him? Psycho? It couldn't be. He was dead, wasn't he? The plane crash, he had been gone for so long. Either way it didn't really matter. What did matter was that he was here now. And he had probably just saved Blaze's life....
"Come...come on Psych....This ain't the time or place...Lets go..."
Using what little strength he had left, Blaze takes ahold of Psycho and begins to pull him away from Stryfe. Finally getting him to the top of the stage.
"This ain't over Stryfe.....Far from it...."
Still dragging Psycho, to keep him from lunging on to Stryfe, Blaze and Psych disappear backstage. Now away from all the chaos, Blaze just stares at 'Psycho'....
"Man, is it really you?"
Psycho remains silent....No reply....
*THE END*
