All in the Nippon Budokan Hall were quiet. They were all anticipating what was going to happen next. Suddenly Rick Ross' "Speedin'"can be heard throughout the arena. The fans from Tokyo, Japan jumped up to their feet in excitement. It was time for Romeo Davis to make his appearance onstage for the cheering fans. The black curtain could be seen and Romeo Davis emerged from backstage making his appearance onstage. He was sporting his wrestling gear as he was ready for a match this very second. Once onstage he began walking down the ramp. He then stopped and dropped down to his knees. He then placed his hands together in the praying fashion and then with one motion, threw his arms apart in the air. Coming from the stage there was a burst of flames. Romeo had then hopped up on his feet and had begun the dancing. This is when the fans had begun to cheer some more. Dancing, who would have ever thought that the fans would enjoy it so much? Romeo then slid into the ring and taunted for the fans once more. He then picked up the microphone from the mat that had been left for him. Before saying anything on the microphone, be gave a bow to the fans of the XWA in the Nippon Budokan Hall. The microphone was then raised to his lips.

Yeah! What’s good y’all? Man am I glad to be out here. I can’t even tell y’all how exciting it is to come out here and perform for y’all tonight. Aight so hear me out real quick. Three weeks ago at March Madness I had my first career wrestlin’ match against some dude named Tank. I bet y’all could easily tell it was my first match cause I struggled big time but still ended up getting the dubya. Now last week I picked up my game when I wrestled against A.J. Ryder. Ha. Yeah, I went into that match with everything I had and well I came out dominating and picking up the well deserved dubya. So here I am in my rookie season with two wins and off to a good start. But I know y’all don’t wanna hear ‘bout my borin’ stories and stuff so I’m not gonna make ya hear me out for all of that. What I am gonna do is challenge someone to a wrestlin’ match though.

Romeo lowers the microphone for the moment and walks around the ring. He then stops and lifts the microphone up to his lips.

I know that A.J. Ryder hasn’t shown his face for a while so I know that he won’t be askin’ for a re-match. So I’ve been scoutin’ out someone else who has been doin’ pretty well here in the XWA. Yeah. I’m gonna challenge this man to a match here tonight. This guy picked up the win over my boy Damien last week in a triple threat match up. He is undefeated so far here right now, but I’m gonna stop that. Steve Toreno man, why don’t ya come down to this ring so that we can get a match set up. I wanna be that person to end that little streak that you are goin’ on. Then after that I will move onto bigger and better things. So, Toreno get yourself out here and let’s have ourselves a match for the fans here in Tokyo, Japan.

The crowd lit up after hearing what Romeo had to say. Romeo then stood in the ring with the microphone lowered waiting for a response from Steve Toreno.

Toreno's music hits the arena. and the man that Romeo asked for arrived in style. he stood on the stage and bathed in the boos that the crowd was giving him. he paced up and down on the stage before finally lifting his Mic.

so you want to be the man to end my 100% record eh. bah, if you think you going to end me then got another thing coming, and it is the shape of a sharp kick to the head.

Listen you've had an interesting start. and have involved yourself in a good crowd. but if you think that makes you untouchable then well you are sorely mistaken. I defeated Damien Ortiz, a man who came into the match the god damn favorite to kill my career. but i showed the heart of a champion, i ground out a result against to former MMA alumna's. now that takes talent and a good mind too.

Toreno looks on to the crowd. they weren't any more. Toreno had spoken the truth, no matte how much they hated him he was a definite talent to be taken seriously.

So you want a match, fine you've got it. but don't hold out on your luck, as even if you do win i will still be further ahead of you. i am going to be a World Champion this year, and you are another stepping stone to the top of my mountain. and that is why Old School Style will prove to be the deciding factor in the match. so good luck cause you are going to be in one helluva fight if you want to be taken seriously.

After listening to what Steve Toreno had to say on the microphone, Romeo lifted his microphone to his lips and had began to speak back to him.

To answer your first question Steve, yeah I do wanna be that person to end you little streak that you are on. So what that you have won a couple triple threat matches. It’s really all luck to get that win. You can stand in the corner of the ring for the whole match and still sneak in a win after the two others did all the work. I’m not sayin’ you did that, but eh, it could happen man.

So yeah, I do agree with ya that I have gotten off to an interesting start so far with my career, but I never said that I was untouchable. You know Steve that there is not one person here in the XWA that is untouchable. Sorry I have to break it to ya, but that does include you there buddy. You’re gonna lose eventually so it might as well be now. I wanna be that person that ends that little streak that you are on and sure as hell I’m gonna bring my all to the match so that I can be that person that ends up picking up the win. I don’t care that you beat Damien man. It really doesn’t mean anything to me. You had to use his finishing maneuver to end the match. Come on now Steve. What kind of wrestler as to steal a finisher to end the match. Shame on you bro. Besides, if it was a singles match between you and Damien, Damien would have demolished you just like he did to Ryder. Steve, this is no triple threat match here. This is a singles match. One against one. You and I will meet in this very ring later tonight man.

Romeo pauses for a moment before speaking again.

I don’t care ‘bout you old school moves or anything like that. It’s what you bring to the ring that I care ‘bout. I don’t care that you think you’ll be the World Champ at some point this year. I bet you everyone on the roster wants that to happen to them also. I will not be a stepping stone for you man. You shall be a stepping stone for me. So you bring your all and I’ll bring mine. Bring it bro. Go big or go home.

The microphone is lowered as he waits for what Steve will say next.

Listen kid you just don't get it. just like everybody else on this roster. you have to do whatever it takes to win. and that is why i am so good, not because i live by the rules, but because i can bend the rules so they work for me.

you are right not one man is untouchable. but i am close to it. why because the ways of Old school have kept me in the game for a very long time and have shown me the good and bad of the ways of wrestling. and you just like that Ryene Thorne, Ortiz and 8-ball have not posed a threat to me. because all of you live in the here and now and don't understand what it means to be a wrestler. it is not about how hard you can hit some guy with a chair, or how high you can fly without drugs. it is about competition and how to adapt to the competition. and me i have adapted in an Old School way.

Now i am going to be nice and take you seriously for this match. because i think i can defeat and i think you can put up a good fight. but that does not mean i wont cheat to win this match. because what you will never understand is that winning is everything. and that is why you have called me out here today. isn't that right?

Toreno awaits an answer.

The microphone was then lifted after Steve had stopped speaking. Romeo thought for a moment about what he was going to say followed by speaking back out to Toreno.

I think everyone knows that you should do whatever it takes to pick up a victory, but that doesn’t mean take out a chair and whack someone across the head with it. It also doesn’t mean that you should get in a quick low blow to get the victory and lastly it doesn’t mean steal someone else’s finisher to end the match. You can’t always bend the rules bro. You may think you can, but you can’t.

Next up Steve, you are not close to being untouchable and like I said, no one is untouchable or even close to it. Everyone has their flaws and that includes you man. What I am gonna do come later tonight is exploit those flaws and show you that you are not close to being untouchable. I don’t wanna hear anymore ‘bout this old school crap man. You are stuck in the past and you need to realize that there is the future ahead. Sure your style may have worked for you in your recent matches, but I really don’t think they will work so much against me. Those wrestlers that you have named are the past and I am in the future for you. The past is done and you can’t change it bro. It’s time to wake up and smell the coffee. I don’t mess around in the ring man. So I hope that you take me seriously for this match later on. You know why I called you out here and that it to have a match against someone who is on a streak and I wanna be the one to end that streak. Just remember this bro, go big or go home. Later Toreno.

With that Romeo dropped the microphone down to the mat. He exited the ring and began to make his way up the ramp toward Toreno. Once he reached him, the two men stared each other down for a moment. Romeo then turned away and taunted for the fans. The cheers could be heard until Romeo pushed the black curtain aside and disappeared backstage.
