(OOC BEFORE WE BEGIN: I sent in the formula to Thr33X, so I'm going to start posting IC. Let's start by getting a contract.)

The scene opens to pan around the surrounding New York area. The town is bustling with people, perhaps the most important being the businessman exiting the major office building across from XWA headquarters.

Excuse me?
What? I'm just describing the scene. You know, you really aren't even supposed to be talking to me. I'm not really here. I'm just a voice-over.
Start centering on Baxter and I!
Okay....the scene sees Brutus Baxter, looking quite impressive with his 6'6 height, and military garb and look. Beside him is a reasonably smaller man, dressed in a sharp tuxedo. He approaches the door, hold it open to Baxter, who enters, and promptly hits his head on the space above the open door. Duck, Brutus!
Where?
Nevermind. They approach the receptionist, and the tuxedo-clad man who was so bossy to me earlier speaks.
My name is Micah Kozlowski, and I am representing-
Wait, you say Kozlowski? You're the brother of that Adrenaline guy, right? The one that died. Well, I'm sorry for your family's loss.
I really don't want to talk about it. Anyway, Brutus and I have an appointment here for a contract in this federation.
Uhm, let me check...yes, yes you do. I'll call Ms. Blackheart right now.

Ms. Blackheart, you have an appointment with a Micah Kozlowski. He is here.

Business was in full swing right now as it appeared that many potentials were now making their way to Carmella's offices for the all important contract signings for the new season. Incoming was yet another, one who's name indeed sounded familiar, the last name anyway.

Riding up the elevator to the top floor of the XWA headquarters, thoughts happen. Let's focus on Mr. Kozlowski's thoughts...Brutus's thoughts about pudding really aren't relevant at the moment.
Soon, we will begin our reign of dominance here in the XWA.
*ding* You have reached floor number 6. Please depart within 10 seconds of the doors opening. Thank you for riding the elevator, and enjoy your business at XWA headquarters.

They approach the door of Carmella Blackheart, and politely knock. Hearing a positive response, they enter.

I want paper.
Brutus, buddy. Let me do the talking.

Ms. Blackheart, I believe the circumstances which bring me to your office have already been made known to me. I plan on managing Mr. Baxter here in the XWA. If you would produce a contract, we can get this underway.

Rather straight to the point aren't we Mr. Kozlowski? I respect that, seeing as you can guess that this is a busy time for me as the new season approaches.

She procures a 2008 contract from her desk and looks it over once herself before setting in on her desk along with a pen.

Now while you look over this, why don't you tell me a bit more about your "client"?

Kozlowski sits down in a chair across from Ms. Blackheart's desk, and begins to speak as he reviews the binding terms of the contract.

Ms. Blacheart, do not mistake my client's rather dumb outward appearance and behavior for a lack of skill. He may be a few fries short of a Happy Meal, but do not mistake that for a lack of fire and intensity.
Did someone say Happy Meal?
No, Brutus. Anyways, my client has an extensive military background, and has a powerful offense, and a learned brawling technique. This contract looks good. What do you think, Brutus?

Great....uhm, where do we sign?`

Right on the dotted line there. If he's the one in competition however he'll be the one who has to sign it. You being the manager will be paid a percentage of his salary as well as nay further income that may come, bonuses and all that.

So military he says. I always said they'd take anyone nowadays. Hopefully he'll be able to guide this Brutus along properly.

Looks can be deceiving. I'm never one to judge a book by it's cover. The next big stars may very well come from the most unlikely of places, so if he's as good as you say he'll certainly fit in and compete well enough against the crop of talent we have here in XWA. I have to say I'm looking forward to seeing what your client is capable of doing here.

Alright. I'm confident that he will be the next wrecking machine in the XWA. Uh, Brutus? What are you doing?

Brutus, filing cabinets aren't edible! Brutus...Brutus....BRUTUS, HELLO? Gah....get the hell away from there! Here, see the pen? No, don't eat it. It'll be a bitch for your colon. That's as legible as you get, Carmella. Where do we go from here?

Uh...well, from here it's just a matter of preparing for the season to begin at the end of the month. Even though the league is in it's off season there's still bound to be a bit of activity going on.

I would keep an eye out for that and if anything, someone will be around to help things along.

Now it's all then I guess all that's left is to welcome you aboard and wish you and your client luck.
