After a clever little intro sequence featuring Syrus' new logo and the infamous phrase of the iconic "Warriors" character of the same name, viewers see Syrus Sykes standing in front of a screen displaying random visuals and such like that-all purplish in nature of course.

Wassup the1XWA.net!!! Welcome on and welcome all to my own special little segment that we call "15 Minutes of Fame". Lemme give to a little bit of an intro as to how this is gonna be going down. Each week, I have 15 minutes to answer fanmail, talk about whatever I want to talk about, basically do what it is that I do so well.

We got that counter ready?

Director: Ready.

Aight, aight...then imma start with some viewer mail her then. This comes from Manny in Boston...Manny in Boston? Well, Manny's just being Manny right? Well he writes:

"Syrus, what is it with the purple? Everything you wear has some kind of purple in it, what's the reasoning?"

Funny you should ask that Manny. Purple you see has historically been known as a color that symbolizes royalty. Think back to the days of feudal Europe and such, and what color was the capes and cloaks of kings and queens? You guessed it, purple. I think that really suits me because I am destined to be the king of the XWA...or at the very least a royal pain in the ass. Besides, somebody has to bring some color into the game. If not for guys like me everyone would be wearing black. A match that doesn't have me in it is boring enough without havin' two guys who look the same cuz they're afraid to expand their fashion sense. NEXT!!!

10 MINUTES...

Sheila from Dayton, OH says:

"I love your afro. It's so sexy, how do you keep it so neat?"

Well, Sheila you have to realize that I am AFRO-American, so it kinda comes naturally. Been growing out my hair for about 3 years now, like dem cornrows you saw when I first came into this piece. All I do is keep it groomed with my trusty pick here, can we get a close up of that?

The camera zooms in to show one of those old school metal toothed combs with a black fist at the end of the handle.

And weekly trip to the barber for shape ups. That's all it takes.

8 MINUTES...

Now I wanna take some time out to talk about one man in particular, and this dude is someone who a lot of people should be paying attention to. XWA National Champ Bryan Jasta. Those who've been under a rock all they lives should be informed that all he needs is one more defense of that title and he'll have broken XXL's streak for the longest title reign in league history. The question is...can anyone break the streak?

That's the same thing they asked about the Patriots. Everyone outside of their fan base wants to see them go down, just like EVERYONE wants to see Jasta go down. Problem is that he's not as popular as Tom Brady is, like he cares. The man is a playmaker, he gets it done in the ring or else he wouldn't be where he is, in the position to make freakin' history, and for that I say big-ups. Yeah, I'm giving the dude props. Just keep that belt long enough for me to take it, cuz you knooooooow that The Afroman is gonna be looking for some straps this year and that NAT belt is looking mighty tasty to me.

4 MINUTES...

We got time for one more question. This one comes from Billy in Edmonton...okay Canada representin', he asks:

"Who do you think is the hottest Diamond in the XWA?"

I knew I was gonna get this one sooner or later. Aight now, there are some real dime pieces in the Diamond Division, but Syrus is gonna have to be real witcha, I like the big girls. I like a lady who's got some size to her, na'mean? So even though she's on the shelf right now my pick is definitely Jersey Redd. Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm...I bet she's a freak baby! If you watch this honey, my number's on the bottom of the screen there, holla atcha boy, ya' heard?

!!!THE SECOND EDITION!!!

Wussup, Wussup, Wussup ya'll out there in internet land, it's another week and yes you guess it, Another 15 Minutes of Fame with your boy Syrus Sykes. Not too much to cover this week so imma just go ahead and pop off with some that's been spinning in my head all week long. Mr. Director, start that timer baby, it's on!

15 MINUTES...

Something that really irks me is the "wah wah wah" bullshit that you hear people shoot out their mouths sometimes. I mean damn, some people just don't know when to stop bitchin'! I don't know I think they must need the positive reassurance of that kinda shit, like making excuses makes 'em feel less like failures. See a brother like me is in it for the real rewards, not fame or glory or being called the best in the world or the best in the business or the best in anything. I do what I do cuz I like what I'm doing, and I'm in it for the love of the game.

I don't have the time to cry over nonsense myself and I can say the same for a lot of people out there, cuz we're doing what we do for that love of the game. Making like a baby every other second slowly chips at the old credibility until people start thinking you're nothing but a self-serving fraud, and that's not what I'm about. Yeah...I'm might get FTGDMFW'd a few times for the FTGDMFL but you won't hear me whining and complaining about it, or putting up a spin on it about "I let him win" or some other kind of shenanigans. The more I hear that garbage the more I lose what bit of respect for the people who sling it.

See in my time in this business I learned that there's a lot of pretenders and few contenders, and to know the difference between 'em. Trouble is, I think now that a lot of people are starting to tell the difference themselves. That's gonna make business really rough for some.

10 MINUTES...

Speaking of being the quote unquote "best", anyone who comes with that garbage is lying to the world and kidding to themselves. See when you look at the best in anything, the real movers and shakers out there, the Jordans and the Tom Brady's, the Gretzy's or the...damn, can I name a baseball player who was the best at anything without juicing? Nah...anyway, bottom line is that you never hear themselves callin' themselves the best. See, that's a title that is placed on someone from their peers, teammates, fans, the media. Hell the only guy who ever called himself "The Best" on a microphone was that cat from Calgary, Alberta, Canada who rocked the pink and he was doing that when he was just a second tier guy.

Eventually though he backed it up with what he did, not what he said, but what he did. Now nobody can argue with him, but that's just a one case scenario. In this biz I can count one hand the people who I think myself are the best, the ones who're taking things to another level, and none of them will say that they are themselves. That's humility right there, that's respect for the game cuz the game is bigger than and alway will be bigger than just one or two players in it, and these guys know that better than anyone.

Anyone who makes that claim on their own is just proving their own little insecurities. Remember what I said earlier about reassurance? Same story. So to all those so-called "beasts", "kings", "saints", "saviors" or whatever other monikers ya'll come up with to hype yourselves up to the point you think your shit don't stink, S-Dub's weekly words of wisdom are don't say it...display it. You're "better" when you prove you are and when the people say you are. They're the one who will judge you cuz you damn sure can't judge yourself.

Now we got time for one fanmail here, and it comes frooooom...Terrell from Dallas, TX!!! Damn son, it must be tough having that name in that city right now, HA-HAAAHHHH!!! Aight, sorry man, he asks:

"Syrus, I recently seen that you're going by the name of Syrus The Entertainer now. What's the story on that?"

Well I see someone caught on to that. Yessir, yessir Syrus The Entertainer is how it's going down in 2008 because let's face it people, I'm one entertaining cat! See my mission is to put back the entertainment in "sports entertainment". I say that in quotes because you get a fair share of both here in XWA, but in my case you're going to get more than you bargained for. Like my man Cedric himself, I'm gonna put on a show that will leave all the fans with a smile on their faces.

Ay-yo-yo-yo-yo-yo-yo-yo-yo-yo! Wassup world it's ya boy S-Dub once again and this week I got some real serious business on deck for ya'll. We're gettin' closer and closer to the start of XWA2008 and I gots ta tell ya that I'm excited, in the words of Do King, boy am I excited. See ya'll just don't know how tough it is for guys like me, girls and girls like the roster of the X-Dubya to sit around and wait to get back into the ring and do that damn thing, know what I'm sayin'?

Anyway, something about this season coming up though has got me thinking there's gonna be some problems though, some real big problems. We got ourselves a few new heads coming through for the new year, and some of these guys just don't understand what time it is, mainly cuz for whatever reason they think it's gonna be theirs. I give you exhibit A- this Magnus Von Schwartz.

For those of ya'll who peeped this dude at "A New Day" you know who I'm talking about. The man's a freak. He's gotta be like in his forties or something and looks like he was chiseled out of granite. Real old school guy who's got some heavy hitting offense the way he was throwing dudes around, but he went on and ran his mouth after he got beat in the end by yours truly. Here's what he said...

Now dude, you sound like you have a problem with the way things go down, Mr. Old Fashioned. This ain't the 1500s back when you actually was my age man, this is 2008. It's like the slogan says man, "A New Day". There's a certain level of entertainment quality that we as wrestlers need to be maintainin' for the fans out there, otherwise we'd all be over-serious, wear black trunks and have no personality. Sound familiar?

Speaking of having no personality, let's jump into Exhibit B. This newbie that calls himself "The Legend" Jeff Heaven. Yeah, he's one of those guys who came in from that PTW outfit as some a' ya'll probably heard about. Dude looks straight up average, and sounds the same too, talking about how he's going to make an "impact" and a "statement" and all the rest of that SOS that a new guy would come in talking. But then a coupla days ago at a fan event he steps up to the mic and says this mess. Roll the footage!

Now that's just plain wrong, dog. That's not the way a new kid in class is supposed to make friends man. Only thing you accomplished is two things right there man, one-you established yourself to be the trash-talking flavor of the week, and two-you put a bullseye in between your eyes.

In case you didn't realize homie, this IS the XWA and there's a long-standing track record of guys like you being sent off on they asses one way or another. You got to come with something different man cuz the "chumps" are gonna do something about it dog and they gonna enjoy doing it too. Ain't nothing more fun than watching a smack talkin' wanna-be get put in his place, and you best believe my man that I'll be one of the guys on that line to do that, and I will do it.

You know, there's a couple others out there who're pretty much on the same level right now. That whole "I'm the best thing since sliced bread" vibe. Just cuz Scott O'Dell somehow got over on that doesn't mean that rest of you are gonna follow in those footsteps. See him too is gonna get his, cuz this like I said before is a new day, and in that day you have me, Syrus The Entertainer. And being such it's my duty to make it so that people will even pay attention to you for a hot second while I'm busting ya'll asses. Even if they still are gonna be paying more attention to me, I'll try to get you some exposure out there, but your gonna have to meet me half way here fellas. You can start by giving people a reason to pay attention to you.

Episode 4...Viewer Discretion Advised.

Alright ya'll. Three months of waiting and it all comes down now to the next three days. Three more days until day one of season two of the XWA and everywhere I go, everyone I speak to is all excited about it. So am I ya'll, so am I. Three months is a long time to wait I tell ya, but the next nine months that follows is more than gonna make up for it.

So the question I get on the street most of the time is "what are you looking forward to the most"? Well, being the kinda dude that leaves for this business the one thing I have to say I'm looking forward to the most is just gettin' back into the ring again and doing what I do how I do it so well.

I can't begin to tell you what to expect otherwise, cuz that's the beauty of it all people. Expect the unexpected, that's the name of the game in XWA, you don't know who's gonna come out swinging and who's gonna strike out swinging this year. There's just so much talent, so many faces in the crowd that you can't possibly pick a favorite...unless you're pickin' me of course.

Now I've already named a few names in our last installment of guys I'm gonna be looking out for, and not in the "respect due" kinda way but more the "I'll break off my foot in yo ass" kinda way, but you know what? That's just lame. Syrus ain't going on no set plan of attack or course of action. 2008 I'm going all-out, anytime, anyplace, anyone. See I'm not about to be selective with who I mix it up with because a true entertainer can adapt to any situation and still put on a show. That's what you can expect from me in 2008, all day-everyday...and you know what? You can expect that from each and every man and woman who's here in the XWA.

So to all the XWA's fans, critics, haters and cynics-it's about that time ya'll. We 'bout to punch in and get down to work for the '08, and it doesn't matter if it's S-Dub here, Bryan Jasta, XXL, Chet "Pin Me, Pay Me" Dixon or the whole damn Diamond Division-we play no games in the X-Dubya.
