I wrote a while ago about how yours truely would not be eligable to compete for the newly created X-Gen Title. It looks as though the guy formerly known as the 'New Hardcore Revolution' will not get the chance to return to his 2006 persona. But that doesn't phase me none - it just means that I now turn my attentions, amonst other things, towards the other title who's past is can be traced back to me. I had the biggest hand in creating the PRO Title. The 'Pure Title' is an offshoot, or rather an evolution, of the philosophy behind the Pro title.
And me? I don't like the fact that the Pure Title only has one 'big' recognisable holder in XWA 2007. Kris Cade is one of the best wrestlers around today, but at some point in 2008, I am going to show him and everyone else why I once won the Pro title in a 6-man elimination battle royal - personally eliminating every other participant in the ring that night!
Only this time, it's not going to be an elimination 6-man battle royal, it's going to be a little bit more intense, a little bit more of an endurance test. It's a match type from the deepest regions of my own mind, but this announcement I will save for another day...
