Time to settle up {Viewer Discretion}

As the program comes in from a break, the opening chord of Saliva's "Ladies and Gentlemen" hit the PA. The reigning tag team champs make there way into the arena following there successful title defense at Soul Survivor. Tyler & Brian enter the ring, the tag titles strapped around there waists. Call for mics, the begin there address.

Soul Survivor, we did what we said we were going to do. We said we were gonna prove that we were the best damn team in XWA, and we did exactly that. Andrew Walker went out tappin' like Gregory Hines, and we walked out of Vancouver STILL the Tag Team champs.

But tonight, Our focus is on two other men. One goes by the name of "The R* Star" Robby Sylk, the other "Picture Perfect" Marcus Divine. You may know them better as "Viewer Discretion".

Now...for whatever reason, Sylk went on hiatus for a month, so there Tag Team title shot was held up until his return. Well as I see it, Robby Sylk's the "Soul Survivor" himself. So I guess that means he's back in full throw. So that leaves the unsettled issue of Viewer Discretion and The Strike Force. Or at least, it WAS unsettled. You see, we had a little word with the CEO Carmella Blackheart after the PPV, and it's been confirmed that these belts, OUR BELTS are gonna be on the line at ID07. It's gonna be a Tag Team title match. But what kinda match, that's still in there air.

Normally, in this kinda situation, the champions pick what kinda match it'll be. But Brian and I, we know a little something about Viewer Discretion. We know they're type of guys who'd more then likely come up with an excuse as to us "Making the match in our favor" and yadda-yadda-yadda. So that's why we're gonna settle that issue the way it sould be settled. In the ring. Challengers vs. Champions. Viewer Discretion vs. The Strike Force. With the WINNER of tonight's contest getting to choose what kinda match the title match is going to be.

The crowd roars in approval.

First man up? The R* himself! "Party Like A Rockstar" fires up on the PA and the 2007 Soul Survivor steps out so some surprising cheers, seeing as he's one of the types of guys who could be a fave or hated, depending on his mood. Decked out like the superstar in the making that he is...he reminds the crowd of the great Joe Namath, sporting a flashy fur-coat and some 70's style shades, mic in hand.

Ladies, Ladies, Ladies...YOUR Soul Survivor and soon to be half of the NEW XWATag Team Champions, the R*Star Robby Sylk...is one again in the hizzzzzzzowwwwwzzzz!!!

Now, you boys I gotta hand it to. I honestly thought to myself after watch TRD beat your asses in non-title matches that you were as good as done, but you pulled it off somehow. You came out on top and you still got those straps in you hands. You two might be the kind of guys that step it up a notch when it's all on the line, or you just might have been lucky, who knows? Only thing that matters now is that you have something that Marky Marc and I have been wanted for long time. So we get a signed sealed and delivered shot at it as you say? That's cool. Exponentially cool in fact.

How that match is gonna go down depends on this match we have tonight though, eh? Well lemme make a prediction here, that match at ID is going to end the same way a this match tonight, with Viewer Discretion on top of the heap in the Tag Team division. That's what up, fellas. Take it or leave it.

Confident? Cocky? Doesn't he have a reason to be? ;D

But if my memory serves me right, the last pompous, arrogant guy to make a "prediction" here in XWA ended up LOSING the World Title. Just a little food for thought. Now I know you've got a little combat high being Soul Survivor and everything. And I know you're on cloud nine. But the fall back to earth is gonna be a BITCH let me tell ya'. [/font]

Ask Camden & Price. Ask TRD. They'll tell ya' that we play to win. And we play for KEEPS. We're not about making predictions, or being flamboyant. We're about kicking ass. And I think you and Devine's ass kickings are WAY over due.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. The only thing that's overdue here boys is Marcus and I holding the Tag Championship belts high. If had been here last month, the same thing that's going to happen would have happened then and there. Only thing I did was prolong the inevitable. See, I made the prediction that one of us was going to be the Soul Survivor and that damn sure came to true didn't it? You can call me the Joe Namath of pro wrestling as far as I'm concerned, cuz I'm guaran-damn-teeing that VD comes out on top tonight, and then when we get you in the big game for the championship, we're not gonna drop the ball the last two teams that you faced.

You're stepping into the ring with a whole new kind of team...honestly it doesn't matter what kind of match is picked with my skill and Marcus' smarts we can take you guys down and out. Tonight you get a taste and at ID you get the main course, but I think that it might be too much you guys to stomach if you catch my drift. I seen what you guys can do, you haven't seen ANYTHING from VD yet...but you will, oh yeah...you will!

Tyler turns to Brian and shakes his head. He raises his mic to speak.

The most I see right now is another loud mouth California boy with his head so swollen it might pop if he turns suddenly. There's a reason why we're the champs and you're not. And no, it's not just because we actually show up to work. It's because we're as well oiled a unit that's ever been produced. When the books are written, The Strike Force will go down with names like The Steiners, L.O.D., Demolition and Team 3D. Where as Viewer Discretion is a pair of long legs and DD's away from being a distant memory. You two aren't a team, you're a joke. A pair of guys who'd just as easily knife the other in the back to get ahead. Just another flavor of the week team that'll be over and done in about a year.

Brian step in front of Tyler and calms him down.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. We didn't come out here to point of there short comings, which come to think of it IS alot. We came out here to lay out a challenge. And since it's been pretty much accepted, The most I have to say Sylk, is that I hope you and your boy packed a box lunch and brought a pen a paper. Because Tag Team 101 is officially in session, TONIGHT.

stab in the back?..your dead wrong....you see this man right here standing beside me...this man is like a brother to me..hes the one i went to when i signed to XWA and i cant speak for him but thats a bond i dont tend to break..

but myself and robby as a team is not the entire issue here..the issue here is this..the way we see it...we are undefeated..yes thats right..the record books might not say it..but we know and everyone else knows that we have only lost due to bad reffing...and hell we even went all the way as a tag team at soul savior

so after we take those belts it will place us on that mentle above LOD..above the steiners and above you..and dont you ever forget that...because everytime we get into that ring..the strike force will be struck down...

Jeez, is this guy nuts or what? Last I recall, you last Tag Team match didn't go so well, Devine. Does the name Ryan Fierhart ring a bell? If I remember, he pinned YOU with his Ryansault. Yep, that's how I recall it happening. But yea, I'll give you two credit. You're unbeaten as a tag team. But as Mr. Fierhart himself proved in that tag team match, a match that the BOTH of us watched closely, you're not UNBEATABLE. And from where I stand, you're also not another thing.

CHAMPIONS!!!

And you boys can stand there and toot your own horns until the cows come home. The simple fact of the matter is this, until you beat us. And when I say beat us, I mean beat us at ID07, you're just a pair of unbeaten big mouths. The Red Death handed us our first losses. And then we handed them a trip to the back of the Tag Team Championship line. Ditto is gonna go for you two. And I myslef am SO gonna be thrilled to deflate that little ego balloon you two have been floating on.
