The1xwa.net has recieved and exclusive report on the status of one of XWA's bright young rookies of 2007...
Van Hayden, who last competed in a bloody battle against the reigning National Champion Bryan Jasta suffered a severe concussion as result of the match, and was sidelined for several weeks as result. Upon getting clearance by XWA doctor's Van opted instead of coming back to full time competition, to participate in XWA's developmental territories to better hone his skills, learn some new moves, and prepare for his grand return to the big show. We caught up to van, and this is what he had to say.
In 2008, I'm coming back strong. That match versus Jasta left a bad taste in my mouth, and it also left me a reminder that as good as I thought I was, I've got a LONG way to go. You'd better god damn believe that "The Spartan" hasn't heard the last of me. And neither has the rest of XWA. Van Hayden is gonna turn heads, kick ass and take names in 2008. It's time to step my game up, and at the same time, raise the bar for ALL to see. Van Hayden 2008 is gonna be a tough act to follow. BET ON IT!
With a renewed focus and drive to make due with a whole season to work with, Van is poised to make 2008 the year steps into the spotlight, as well as the main event...
*Note: Apologies once again for my lengthy absence. How fitting I show back up on my B-Day, but that's because I just so happened to have gotten a PC of my OWN for my BD, amongst other crap. But I won't bore you with the details. Van's coming back, and he's gona be better then ever.*[/i]
