One for the road (Fierhart)

Legacey's Exile plays over the sound system. The boos were fast and heavy as everyone knew what was coming next. Osiris Alston, fresh off yet another win over Ryan Fierhart. With his cheeky grin, Osiris heads to the ring, jaw jacking with fans along the way. A mic awaited him on the ring steps as he climbs up and into the ring. Once inside, Osiris begins.

Well, here we are. March Madness 2008. The 1st PPV of XWA's 2008 season. And what's a PPV without The Big O? I'll tell you what it is, it damn sure ain't a PPV I'd be watchin'. *heh heh heh* So what could I possibly out here for you're all wondering? Take a guess?

Osiris smiles a sarcastic grin as the crowd continues to boo.

Oh, you need reminding? I figured you would. So I had the boys in the truck doll up a video package for ya'. Hit it.

Footage rolls on the Jumbotron chronicling all of Alston's wins over Ryan Fierhart from last year to the last show. Osiris stands witha smile on his face as it closes out.

THAT'S why. Ryan Fierhart. The last son of the GREAT Alexandre Fierhart. Bested by me. Not once, not twice, not three times...

Osiris holds up five fingers...

FIVE TIMES. Count it. FIVE TIMES. Six counting the 2 on 3 match in Jersey, but that was X's win, not mines. But I've pinned you FIVE times, Ryan. Five. That's bad. Real bad. I mean, what's your folks think about it? Your brothers? That fine sister of yours. How about Ashley? Or Devlin? Jayson Jones? EVERYONE in your life. Professional and personal. I know if I were in your shoes, I'd be pretty pissed. That's why I'm out here tonight Ryan. I'm here to give you one more shot. One more chance to prove that you're actually worth somethin', or just someone they hype up to be as great as you are. You see me, I'm as good as advertised. A future champion in XWA. And I've gotta thank you for that. Because whoopin' yo ass all over the continent has done WONDERS for my career. So Ryan, one more chance. One more shot. And when I put yo' punk ass down again, I move on to bigger, better things.

He grins to the crowd, who returned the gesture with boos. Osiris awaits the arrival of Fierhart.

He wouldn't have to wait long. Ryan's theme blares over the PA, and he enters the Verizon Center met by a blast of cheers from the fans. With his eyes firmly focused on Alston in the ring, Ryan, with mic in hand, responds to his challenge on the stage.

I'm glad for you, Si. I really am. You beatin' me 5 times over the last 7 months has to be one of the best things to ever happen to you in your career. Seeing as it hasn't really amounted to much else before hand. Let's see...you got your ass kicked by XXL for the National Title at March Madness 2007, got your ass kicked by Genesis for the National Title a couple of months later. Got your ass kicked by The Rockstarz a few weeks after that. Then Adam kicked your ass alongside Jared Chase. Then...you fell off the grid for a few months, and came back looking like one of the Golden Lords from Meteor Man. That was a slick look , by the way.

Ryan laughs to himself as the fans continue to cheer.

So yea, you beating me 5 times is big. And it's also the ONLY thing of importance your ass has done so far as well. You're boy Scotty? He's had gold. You're old running buddy Jimmy, same deal. And what's funny? The fact that tonight, at this very PPV, they could be champions again. And what's The Big O got? A chip on his shoulders and a BIG MOUTH.

Ryan nods, then continues.

But there's one more thing you're gonna have tonight. My FOOT knee deep in your ASS. I've about had it with you running around talkin' up the fact that you've beaten me. I'm not gonna say it's luck. Because gettin' bested 5 times ain't lucky. I'm gonna say that on those nights, you caught the breaks I couldn't. But tonight's gonna play out a little differently. Tonight, I'm coming into this ring to do one thing, SHUT YOU UP. And I intend on doing that and then some. Alston, you just made a calculated mistake. One that's gonna result in me, beating you, and ending this. Tonight, we FINISH this.

As hard as it was to swallow, Fierhart made one very potent point. One that urked Osiris to no end. His inability to secure XWA gold. He responds.

You think you're real funny, eh Ryan? I know good and god damn well what and what I HAVEN'T done in XWA. But this year is gonna be MY YEARS. And it's gonna start by me kickin' yo ASS tonight.Just like the good ol' days. And it's gonna serve as a reminder to any of the chumps aside from O'Dell who walk outta the Verizon Center with belts. I haven't made a mistake, my man. I've made a sound decision. But one thing I totally agree with you on. We FINISH this tonight. Cuz when I beat your monkey ass one more time, you better believe you'll never, EVER step in the ring with me again. So you better go backstage and get some pointers from that Girlfriend of yours. You better bring the best game yo' ass has EVER brought. Cuz you're only getting ONE more shot.

A heated Alston stands in wait of Ryan's response.

Ryan smirks as he does so...

One more shot is all I'll need. I'll see you in the ring, Alston.

Ryan's words dripped of confidence, but deep down he knew this was a must win match. To lose would mean he would never hear the end of Alston's bashing. This match held more weight then any title match he could, or ever would be involved in. As his music hits the PA, Ryan gives a final glance to Alston before heading to the back to prepare for this pivotal contest.

Osiris looked with slanted eyes and a scowl on his face as Ryan spoke. He knew deep down that this was his match to lose. Fierhart had nothing to lose, but plenty to gain. And that was always the most dangerous opponent. He tosses his mic to the side and makes his way out of the ring. Fierhart's music still played on the PA, and the show was in transition to the next match, but Osiris already had his game face on. This would be more then a wrestling match. It would be a battle of wills. A battle he had every intention of winning.
