Backstage at the Verizon Center, a special area has been set aside to be the base of operations for the President of the XWA herself, Carmella Blackheart. As the showcase rolls along, the announce team of Buzz and Roach send it to her with Fabiola to make note of not one but three big matches. Sitting on a desk not too far of in the background and plainly in view to all the viewers were the XWA's Pearl, both Tag Team and the World Championship.
Fab: Thank you Roach. Well ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with the President of the XWA, Carmella Blackheart! Tonight is a big night, that's an understatement. You wanted to take some time to address a few things though Ms. Blackheart?
Absolutely. As you all know there are three vacant titles we have here due to inability to keep championship commitments, violating policy or injury. Tonight those titles will be awarded to the winners of three matches, a Tag match between Viewer Discretion and The Bruzas for the Tag titles, a One-Shot Battle Royal between two former World Champions in Keith Wyle and Scott O'Dell and two first time World Title contenders, two men who certainly deserve the opportunity in Ethan Bain and former Pure Champion Kris Cade, and lastly a Battle Royal for the Pearl Title.
Fab: Unlike the first two matches though, we don't know whose going to be in that match.
That all changes right now though, because I have been informed of whom the participants of this match will be from Sarah Warfield. In this match we will have Amber Gianni, Channelle, Jessica Hart, TEN, Jamie Fury and former Pearl Champion Cosette Grace.
Fab: Wow, those are some good picks there. All six of those ladies have been pretty busy the first two weeks, but um...there are some that weren't picked. What for?
Business reasons. There's another issue tonight that I want to address. I'm aware that there's one match being considered for tonight between Sumya and Kim Hunter, where if Sumya loses she will quit the XWA. Now I can't do anything about a superstar willingly breaking contract because well...that means I don't have to pay them anymore. But allow me to sweeten the pot in that match.
Fab: How?
First off we're going have a special guest referee in that match, the newest Diamond, the very girl who Sumya attacked at the season premiere will be the one who literally controls her fate tonight.
Fab: You mean Sinclaire?
Exactly.
Fab: Wow, that's a pretty sensitive situation there Ms. Blackheart.
That it is, but it's also good for ratings. ;D
Fab: Well, the mystery is a mystery no more now ladies and germs, straight from the boss herself you've heard it here. Let's send it back out to you guys...
