The show comes back in from a break, and the entrance theme of the enigmatic Roze plays over the arena PA...
Buzz: Here comes Roze into the arena. We haven't seen her since the Onyx Champions qualifying matches.
Roach: Indeed. It looks like she's got something to say, Buzz. This could get interesting.
Roze walks to the ring with conviction and fire in her eyes. Upon entering, she's handed a mic.
I'm going to cut straight to the point. Tonight we've got one match that will determine the fate of the Onyx Title. And then we have a match where the Pearl title is to be defended. This leaves but one belt left unaccounted for. One champion who's not in the equation. That being Sara Beck, The Diamond Champion. Sara, you were more then impressive at March Madness. Chloe Lockheart hit you with everything she had, and you still came out on top.
Roze looks out into the camera, as if talking to Sara directly.
I know you made the trip to Japan. And I know you're in the arena tonight. I've waited a looooooooooong time to get to do this, but at Vendetta, I'm challenging YOU for The Diamond Title. I'd challenge you tonight if I could, but I know that Platinum champions reserve the right to defend their belts at PPVs. But that's still not stopping me from seeing just how tough you are tonight. That's why I'm calling you out for a one on one contest tonight. Consider it a Vendetta preview. So that I can show you, and the rest of the Diamonds of XWA that I mean business.
Roze turns her attention to the stage as the theme of Sara Beck cues up.

Now Go Away By Godsmack hits the PA, and out comes the reigning Diamond Champion, Sara Beck. With the belt in one hand, and a mic in the other, Sara returns fire at Roze's challenge.
Now ain't this a grabber. It looks like the red headed step child is FINALLY ready to step into the BIG GIRL'S Club. Rozey, something in the pit of my stomach told me that I would be seeing you in the ring one day. And I'll be honest with you, I've looked forward to it since the moment you showed up in XWA. These people here in Japan can appreciate some REAL female wrestling, so as far as I'm concerned, your challenge at Vendetta is GAME ON!!!
The excitement of the crowd was deafening. But Sara was far from done.
That leaves us with tonight. I sure as hell didn't come to Japan to sit on my ass backstage and drink me some Sake, even though that DOES sound like a damn good idea. So I have a plan. And it involves you, me, and that ring there. TONIGHT. I'll even be sporting, and give you the choice of what kind of match it's gonna be. I don't really care what you pick, because either way I'm servin' you up a helping of SARA JUST KICKED MY ASS!!! BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!! Heh heh heeeeeeeeeeh.
Buzz: Sara seems mighty confident tonight, and she very well should be. Still, do you think it's smart her giving her challenger for the title the choice of what match they'll have tonight?
Roach: No, it's not. Roze is no rookie. She knows the game. And If I were her hearing that, I'd be thinking of a match that I KNEW I was going to be able to deal the most damage possible in. We know Sara's not afraid of a fight, but Roze is in prime position to be able to soften her BIG TIME before Vendetta.
Sara stands in wait of Roze's response.

The idea had merit. Sara had to be extreme confident if she was letting the person to challenge her in a few weeks time for the grandest prize in women's wrestling choose the match they would have that night. And Roze wasn't at all about to squander the chance.
I get to choose what match we have tonight? Hoohoohoo...big mistake, Champ. The things I could think of. A steel cage match maybe. Or maybe a hardcore match. All of them would do nicely. But there's only one match that I'm interested in tonight. I want to see if our fair Diamond champion can go the distance. And there's only one match that can tell me if you can. A 20 minute IRONWOMAN match.
The roar of the crowd was deafening as Roze names her match for the night.
The woman who carries that belt, is the best female wrestler in the world. I think it's high time we tested if your up to par of carrying it.
With a confident air in her words, Roze awaits Sara next response.

Sara quickly response to Roze's comments.
Are you questioning my wrestling ability??? ME??? The woman who BEAT Heather Fierhart for this very title, after chick after chick after chick FAILED to do it? Are you NUTS??? I AM the best of the best. Point blank and period. Even without this title I'd be four times better then half of the little pencil neck video girls and playmates runnin' around here. To be the best, you have to beat the best...as they say. And I BEAT THE BEST!!! You want to test me in an Ironwoman match? Fine. I'm gonna do some testing of my own. Testing the strength of your jaw when I lay your ass OUT! I'm gonna beat you like you stole somethin', scrawny. You just wrote a check your ass ain't gonna be able to cash.
Sara waits for what next Roze had to say.

Roze quickly words a timely response to Sara's last comment.
On the contrary, "champ". I intend on cashing in a lot. Most notably your imminent ends as XWA Diamond Champion. The long trip to the end of your road begins tonight. And I cap it in The Tokyodome, when I take that title off your hands. As for right now, I'm done talking. We can further continue this conversation in the ring, AFTER I take you to task tonight.
As Roze's music begins to play on the PA, the two women stare each other down in the middle of the ring. Roze knew she was in for a fight, but she was confident in her skill. Beck had a rep for being a vicious competitor, but so did she. It was going to be an interesting thing to see just how touch the champion really was.
The end.
