The crowd comes alive as Flyleaf's "Red Sam" plays over the PA. Into the arena steps a familiar face to the Japanese wrestling fans, Anjelyka. She greets her loyal fans with great adulation as she makes her way to the ring. A mic awaits her on the ring steps as she enters the ring. She takes in the roar of the crowd a few seconds more before beginning.
It feels GRRRRRRRRRRRREAT to be back here in Japan.
The crowd acknowledges her with a tremendous cheer.
It's well documented that my career took off wrestling here in Japan. Japan is like a 2nd home to me, and when I found out that XWA would be holding events here all month, I made it my business to make the trip. But I'm not the only Diamond in XWA with roots firmly planted in Puro Joshi Wrestling. There are three others who are equally, if not MORE well known throughout Nippon for their skill in this ring. I speak of course of the XWA Onyx champion, Alundra Jade.
A boisterous cheer for Alundra ensues.
The single most vicious female in all of wrestling, Holly Woodz.
A thunderous cheer for Holly follows.
And of course, Japan's own Sayuri Irabu.
An explosive cheer concludes for Sayuri.
All four of us became what we are today wrestling here in Japan. So I feel it's only fitting that the 4 or us compete tonight. But in not just any match. Tonight we do it Joshi Style. And we do it for a stake at the Onyx Title. Four women. One match. A 4 way dance. If either Holly, Sayuri or myself win, we get a shot one on one for the Onyx Title at the Budokan Arena next week. But if you win Alundra, you get to pick who you want to face out of the three of us. Sounds like a fair deal to me. So how about it, ladies?
Alundra lowers her mic. Only a few seconds pass before the next female's music cues up on the PA. |

It was the entrance theme of the one and only Holly Woodz. With her usual "I ant to kill this bitch" look in her eye, Holly makes haste to the ring. She rolls inside and stands face to face with Anjelyka, giving her a cold, menacing stare. She walks to the ropes and calls for a mi, immediately responding to the challenge laid out.
Let me get this straight, tinkerbell. A 4 way dance between me, you, the Samoan chick that actually CAN fight and the sailor scout? With a potential Onyx Title shot going to either of the challengers? HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! You may as well have come out here and said "I want Holly Woodz to get a shot at the title". Cuz that's the way it's gonna go down. That last match a few weeks ago, you're ass got LUCKY. Right place, right time. This time around, I set the record straight. And I bust all three of your asses in the process. The last time I was in this arena, I put on a god damn CLINIC and put some poor model turned wrestler's ass in traction. This time I'll at least have SOME comp. But the end result is gonna be the same. Me kicking your ass, Irabu's ass, AND Jade's ass.
Always "candid", Holly awaits the next response.

Anjelyka almost admired Holly's constant tenacity, save for the fact that she was also a total bitch. She raises her mic and responds to her.
That's what I love about you. Always ready to fight at the drop of a dime. That's spirit. That's intensity. But sorry to burst your bubble, toots. If you think you're going to roll in here, roll over the three of us, and roll out No. 1 Contender for the Onyx Title, you're nuts. That's what you said you'd do last time, and Alundra knocked your ass senseless, right before I knocked HER ass senseless and won the match. If I were a betting woman, my money would be on me 110%. To coin another gal's phrase, "But that's just my 2 cents".

A scowl crosses the face of Holly from Anjelyka's words. She brings her mic up again to speak.
Now you're quoting suck ass female wrestlers? And how the hell is that skinny bitch a playmate? Her ass is FLATTER then mines!!!
The crowd hisses at Holly's crack.
Side show skanks aside, YOU'RE the one who's nuts if you think I'm gonna lose this match. You see, when there's something like title shots on the line, that's when Holly Woodz steps her game up. And my game elevated is better then ANY bitch in the business. Better the Diamond. Better then Jade. BETTER then Fierhart. And most importantly, BETTER THEN YOU. But talk is cheap. I plan on showing it the only way I know how. By giving you tricks some FOOT IN MOUTH disease.

The back and forth between Holly and Anjelyka is broken up by the entrance theme of the one and only Sayuri. As the fans cheer on their native heroine, she steps into the arena with much fanfare. She quicjly joins the other females in the ring, and sizes up her opponents with a glance before speaking into a mic of her own...
I will say this much. Tonight is going to be an interesting contest. A match that has every wrestling style imaginable all in one. A match that I myself can't wait to be a part of. But the two of you it would seem have some issues you need to work out. This doesn't bode very well for you. Because if you blink, I can pin you just like that.
Sayuri turns her attention to Anjelyka...
Anjelyka. You're a very capable fighter. I've seen some of your earlier matches, and I'm most impressed with what you bring to the ring. You're a tactician in this ring. A tool that will get you over most other females no questions asked.
She then turns to Holly...
And then there's you, Holly. Tough as nails. I might even go as far as saying the toughest woman in the industry. One of the true mavericks of women's wrestling, in that you're not just any other female wrestler. But there's something that I have that the two of you don't tonight...
Them.
Sayuri points to the crowd, who returns the favor with a thunderous applause.
One year ago, I wrestled in front of these fans for the Diamond Title. And with no shame in my heart I say that I was beaten by my friend Ashley Diamond. But tonight, I stand in this ring a different wrestler. I stand here more focuses. More skilled. More determined. And I have every inetion of walking out of the Saitama Super Arena #1 Contender for the Onyx Title. So ladies, I hope you're ready for war. Because that's what we're going to have tonight.
Sayuri awaits the reply of either of her opponents.

The next response would come from the Onyx Champion herself...
Now THIS is what I would call mighty interesting.
Alundra steps into the arena with mic in tow. She joins the other three women in the ring to add her own spin on things.
Something told me that I was going to be in for an interesting night tonight. But this? This definitely isn't what I expected. But then again, that's to be expected in and of itself, right? I mean here we have the four of the top females ever to step foot in a ring here in Japan. Three jockeying for a spot to challenge for a belt that in it's past incarnation I pretty much made famous.
As the fans cheer on, Alundra continues.
We know one indefinite outcome of this match. Someone's going to be coming out with a title shot. But I wouldn't be so sure as to who. I mean, Holly. You're a tough cookie. But are you tough enough? That's the question. Anjelyka, you beat me last month. No doubt about that. But can you do it one on one? Interesting concept. And Sayuri? You gave me one hell of a fight for this here belt. But are you worthy of getting another shot at it as my 1st defense? You see, there are MANY questions to be asked in this match. A lot of outcomes can come of it. You three talk about how you're going to win and move on to face me in Budokan Hall next week. You seem to forget that in a 4 way dance, there's four people competing.
A dramatic pause...
And the fourth person just so HAPPENS to be the Onyx champion.
The crowd roars as Alundra hikes the title up on her shoulder.
And from what I heard, should I win, I get to choose who my opponent's going to be. Now that's an outcome I can live with. So the question isn't which one of you can win. It's which one of you can beat ME. I'm looking forward to finding out the answer to that one.
Alundra spoke with poise and confidence. She awaits the next response.

The next response would come from that of the Diamond Division Commissioner, Sara Warfield herself. As her music plays over the PA, she steps into the arena. With a mic in hand, she stands atop the stage and addresses the ladies in the ring.
This is what I like to see. The spirit of competition. Truly what separates the Diamond Division from all other women's divisions in wrestling. Anjelyka, I love the idea. I really do. I love it so much, that you ladies can pretty much consider this one BOOKED.
The crowd shows there appreciation with a roar that nearly blows the roof off.
Good luck to you ladies. I'll be watching this one very carefully.
With a nod, Sarah turns and heads back stage, sealing the deal on what was to be a classic contest of sheer will and pure skill.

Youheard her, ladies. She's gonna be watching closely. So you can blame the Commish for the ASS KICKING you've got in store for you later tonight. See you tricks later.
She steps a bit closer to Alundra.
Oh, and shine that baby up for me for next week, will ya? I want it to be nice and pretty for when I take it off your ass.
With a sarcastic and evil grin, Holly drops her mic to the floor. She takes her leave of the ring, met with a hail of typical boos as she makes her way up the walkway backstage to prepare.

Sayuri shakes her head at the brashness of Holly. But it was to be expected from her. She looks to the other two women and speaks.
I look forward to our match, and may the best woman win.
She gives them both a gesture of acknowledgment, and follows suit of Holly leaving the ring.

There didn't seem to be much else needed to be said. Alundra looks over to Anjelyka and shrugs. The match was a go, so now the next step was preparing for what was surely going to be an epic battle. Alundra adjusts the belt on her shoulder, nods to Anjelyka, and takes leave of the ring as well.

Anjelyka stands alone in the ring as her oppenents all leave. A smile crosses her face, as she knpws tonight was her chance to show once and for all that she had what it took to not just be one of XWA's best, but one of the best ever. The long road to the top truly began in this match. The scene cuts to the next segment.
