What a Rush! (spoilers) (o2a)

[Romeo Davis]

-The RD Factor was hit and everyone knew that the match would be over. Romeo covered Tank for the 1…2…3. It was all over and "Speedin'" began to play throughout the arena. The fans leaped to their feet and began to cheer. In his first match here in the XWA, Romeo Davis had picked up the win. He had to go through a lot to get the win in the end. He kept getting knocked down on his back but always fought back. He put his brawling and technical skins to the test and came up with the victory after nailing The RD Factor.-

-His arm was raised by the referee as his theme music continued to play. The referee then let go of Romeo’s arm and Romeo then mounted the turnbuckle closest to him. He taunted for the fans as they continued to cheer for the bright, new XWA superstar. Romeo then hops down off the turnbuckle and looks at the fans in the arena. Seconds later he began dancing once again and the crowd erupted. It was louder than before. His dancing defiantly got the crowd to their feet. He soon stopped and exited the ring. He then continued his dancing up the ramp and stopped at the main stage area. He began waving to the fans before pushing the black curtain aside entering the backstage area.-

What a rush!

-He continued walking down the hall happy about winning the first match of his wrestling career. What he does need to recognize now though was that there were bigger and better superstars in the business. Right now he was excited for picking up the victory.-

Genesis was making his way down the hallway at the same time on the opposite end. Holding an ice pack on his neck from his bout with Primo. He congratulates Davis:

Hey kid.... not bad out there tonight ! Nice dance moves by the way...haha. How does it feel to win your first match ? Must be pretty excited. You and Damien took care of business tonight as planned. Kinda sad that I let you both down though. Truth is, I underestimated Primo. I guess... during all that time I was away. Primo improved his abilities... I never imagined him to be that good. He has certainly gotten much better then the last time me and him fought.

[Romeo Davis]

-Romeo turns the corner and meets up with Genesis.-

Hey man, thanks. Ya know, the fans love the dance moves so I gotta give the fans what they want. But yeah thanks for telling me I got nice dance moves. But yeah, onto the match. It feels great to step into a business for the first time and pick up the victory. I was pumped for the match and I got what needs to be done, done. But there is something that I’m pretty bummed about with my match. That dude Tank was reversing a bunch of moves because I stood there thinking of what moves I should perform. I gotta change that man. I just gotta perform the moves. But it’s all good.

-Romeo stops for a moment and shook his head. He then began speaking again.-

At least I ended the match before I messed up some more. I saw that Damien also picked up what seems like an easy win over that Ryder dude. Damien is a beast. That’s all I gotta say ‘bout him. You though, it’s aight that you lost. Primo is one tuff mofo. He knows how to get it done in the ring. At least you put up a fight unlike Ryder. I’m sure you’ll get him next time because now you know more ‘bout him. You didn’t let us down in any way. Primo’s tuff but you’ll beat him soon.

Well, lemme just say that there is no greater feeling in the world then standing under those lights my friend. There is no explaining the feeling or 'rush' that you get from the fans. Whether they are cheering your name or booing you out of the arena.

Yeah... Primo got the win tonight. He won the battle, but believe me, the war is FAR from over ! In this business, you win some... ya lose some. Thats just how it works.

Damien....hahaha.....what did I tell ya ? The man is living, breathing, killing machine ! My 'prodigy' made quick work of that idiot Ryder. I told Ryder before not to mess with Genesis and he got what he deserved. I can bet anything the E.M.T's are having a hard time prying him off the mat as we speak.

Damien then makes his way down the hallway and encounters his mentor Genesis and fellow PAYNE Inc. member Romeo Davis.

Sup fellas' ? Great job out there Davis. Speaking of wins, what did you guys think of my match with Ryder ? That punk didn't stand a chance ! If I was that guy right now. I'd give up his little fling with Primo's Coalition and jump ship over to team PAYNE Inc. Unless he wants another beating from either one of us.

[Romeo Davis]

Yes, as you say, the war is far from over. I can’t say Primo got lucky beating you tonight, but you’ll get your revenge, don’t worry ‘bout that one. Now, ‘bout Ryder, ha, I don’t know what he was thinking stepping into the ring with Damien. I’d be surprised if he showed his face ‘round here again. I would be embarrassed after that defeat. I can already see Damien having a great future here as do the both of us.

-Romeo sees Damien walk into the picture.-

What's good man. Thanks. Yeah I thought your match was good. Ryder was defiantly no match for ya. You're a beast in that ring and others should take notice.

-Romeo then takes his wristband off leaving the two black rubber bands on his wrists before speaking to Genesis again.-

Aight Genesis. What’s next on the agenda for us?

Well... If I know Primo. I can see him going on out on TakeDown gloating and bragging about defeating the 'great' Genesis . Then he'll probably go on and on about how he is the most unstoppable force EVAR....etc, etc, etc.

Whenever he does that. Thats when we all come out as a unit and confront him. I'm pretty banged up as it is right now. So... I highly doubt I'll be going in for any type of a rematch with him anytime soon. Which, in a way is good. I need some time to recover and get back into 'fighting mode' so to speak.

Truth is, you both have a bright future. Keep up what your doing. You guys will make it in this business. Now... like I told Primo before. I'll do whatever it takes to stop him and his Coalition. If that jackoff thinks that his one night victory over me ends everything ? Then he is nothing more then an idiot.

Quite frankly guys. I could care less how 'unstoppable' Primo is or seems to be. One thing that will never die is Genesis ! You can bet your bottom dollar. That as long as there is breath in my body. I won't let PAYNE Inc. go down without a fight.

He can recruit all the veterans he wants to. Because while he is recruiting the soon to be 'old fossils' of the XWA. I'm out dipping my hand into some 'New Blood'. Getting any of the 'potential' young stars of this company that I can see becoming the bright future of the XWA !

As far as 'New Blood' goes...if anybody knows anything about 'New Blood'.... its GENESIS !

-Romeo nods his head after hearing what Genesis had to say. This was a big deal, he was apart of something big that was going to happen. There was no beef with anyone at the moment. He just wanted to help Genesis because he was going to help him. Well that’s how it started. Now it was more of this is something big and he was glad to be apart of it at the beginning stage of his career.-

Yeah I could have pretty much guessed that Primo was prolly gonna head down to that ring next week and gloat ‘bout his victory over ya. Or he’ll prolly chill out backstage with his followers. But yeah if he does come out to the ring bragging then yeah, I gotcha back Gen. I saw that you got pretty banged up but there is no need to worry. I mean you got me and most importantly you got the big man himself, Damien. We’ve got a good force going against Primo and like you said, we will not go down without a fight. The thing is when he sees, well me at least, he’s prolly gonna say that I’m a nobody and that I won’t make it anywhere. I mean I almost got beat in my match earlier tonight. But forget that, I’m not gonna make anymore mistakes. It’s time for the real deal. Tank was a warm-up for me so that I will know if I was capable of hanging in the ring. I found out that I am ready and it’s time to move onto bigger and better things. So I’m glad that ya picked me up over some veteran to join with ya to stop the Primo Coalition. I am up for any task. I do have a mind for myself, but if there is anything ya need, I gotcha aight Gen.
