Sweet, sweet payback (Fierhart/Hayden/Alston)

The 2nd show of the season was just getting underway. The crowd was filed in at the Gampel Pavilion, and the show was out of the gates. However, to start the show, it was the entrance theme of a man who due to events last week might be among the most disliked in the locker room, Lionel Xander. As his music plays, the crowd hit hi with even bigger boos then usual, and he knew exactly why. X wastes no time entering the ring and calling for a Mic, so that he could address this most delicate of situations.

Last week, I, Chris Cage and Osiris Alston got a bum wrap. We all know what the hell happened. Dylan Bates got took out backstage. Laid out before our match. And everyone with a finger, has been pointing fingers at us as being the culprits responsible. No I speak for my partner Chris in saying that we've done our fair share of dirt in our careers, but we would NOT stoop as low as taking out an opponent backstage. We showed off last week that we can just as well do it in the ring. So right here, right now, I'm telling everyone, Mr. Gallas, Ms. Blackheart, the B.O.D., EVERYONE. We had NOTHING to do with Dylan Bates going down last week.

The crowd pours down boos on X, regardless of his denial.

Buzz: Like anyone's even buying that. You heard it yourself, Mike. He said "We're going to make this business, personal". Can you put your hand any further in the cookie jar?

Mike: The verdict is still out, but I tend to agree with you. Still, the surveilance footage is still being reviewed, and there's still no word on who exactly was responsible.

But we ALL know I had everything to do with Fierhart and Hayden going down last week. MAN, can it get any better? I mean, let's look at this moment again, people.

X points to the Jumbotron, and it shows highlight from last weeks match. Alston and Cage hoisting Fierhart up, and X hitting a splash as the suplex him to the mat. It closes with Alston holding of Hayden as X puts a foot on Ryan's chest and flexes as the ref counts the three.

You know what that's called? VINDICATION. I sat and waited three damn months for that moment. And I finally got it. I PINNED me a Fierhart. But I couldn't have done it alone. So I wanna bring out my newest ally, and honorary member of Damage Inc, and of course one of the founding fathers of The Headlinerz, Mr. Osiris Alston. Come on down here and join the celebration, my man.

The somber tone of his denial of Dyla's assault changed quickly as he gloated at his victory of Ryan. He lowers his mic and smiles a huge smile as he awaits Alstons arrival.

Alston's theme cues up, and he enters the arena with a satisfied smirk on his face. Last weeks win was almost poetic in some ways. And the end result of everything, was that Si had yet another win against Ryan under his belt. He joins Xander in the ring, and beckons for a Mic of his own.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Well, last week we saw somethin' reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal beautiful happen. Ryan, you would think by now that you'd get it. By now, anyone else would just give up, and go after some lesser chumps in order to save face. But I know you to well. I know that you just can't stand losing. So here's what's gonna happen tonight. Tonight, X and I are throwing out another challenge. Just us two, against you and Hayden. Tag team match, just like last week, but with a twist. The team that wins tonight's match, gets to name the stipulations to the matches we have at March Madness. And at March Madness, we FINISH this. Because I've got bigger fish to fry after I'm done with you. Fish that have golden scales.

Si brings his Mic to his side and nods in the direction of Xander. It was a challenge that neither Fierhart or Hayden could afford to refuse.

[van]

The entrance theme of Van Hayden begins to play. As the crowd cheers on his arrival, Van steps onto the stage with a Mic, and wastes little time responding to the brash words of Xander and Alston.

It seems to me the last week gave you boys a false sense of self. It took everything all THREE of you had to beat Ryan and myself. Hell, it took a TRIPLE TEAM move to put Ryan down. Yea, you guys won the match last week. But if you think you accomplishment something, you're nuts. The ONLY thing you two succeeded in doing is pissing us off. And bad things happen to people who piss me off. Very bad things. You boys want another tag match? I say why the hell not.

Van awaits either man's response.

Oh no!!! I'm so scurred!!!

Si starts shaking as if he was frightened before he laughs of Van's comment and responds.

Once a chump, ALWAYS a chump. Which makes you a chump by association, Hayden. You joined a fight yo' punk ass shouldn't have joined. But since you and Fierhart are so tight and all, I don't see no problem makin' you look like a SUCKA just like him. HAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAA!!!

[ryan]

Ryan soon joins Van on the stage after Alston's jab at his character. Ryan looked none to pleased. He brings his own Mic to his lips and speaks.

You know, on any normal night, I'd have something really witty and insightful to say in response to that. But I'm not feeling very witty, OR insightful tonight. No, tonight I feel like coming down to the ring and kickin' your asses. So you know what? That's exactly what I'm gonna do.

Ryan drops his mic to the floor, and charges the ring. He slides into the ring and tackles Alston to the ground, unloading right hands on his head. The crowd erupts in cheer from the brawl unfolding before them.

[van]

W/Permission

Before Xander could even react, Van had already entered the ring and pounced on him as well. He hits X with a series of rights, backing him up into the corner. Van takes a few steps back, and charges in, hitting him with a clothesline that knocks him to the floor.

[ryan]

Ryan gingerly "helps" Alston to his feet, who was punch drunk from the shots he'd taken from him. Ryan irish whips Alston to the ropes, and then hit him with a drop kick that sends him flying through the 2nd rope and out to the arena floor.

What a dropkick!!! They are cleaning house!!!

[van]

Van picks Xander up off the floor as well, and points to Ryan to get ready. The both grab him by his arms, and Irish whip him to the ropes, setting up for some form of double team maneuver, but...

[si]

As Xander hits the ropes, Alston had the were with all to grab him by the legs and drag him out of the ring. They begin to beat a speedy retreat from the ambush, Alston clutching his jaw from the kick to the mouth given to him by Ryan.

Xander stumbles back as they retreat up the walkway. He falls backwards on his ass trying to collect himself from the shots Van put against his head.

[ryan]

Ryan retrieves the Mic Xander had dropped and speaks.

It goes without saying that you challenge tonight, is ACCEPTED!!! And if you thought what just happened to you now was a bitch, WAIT until you see what the hell happens when the bell rings. [/font]

He drops the Mic to the floor, and eyes the two men down as they continue their withdrawal.

Alston fires off some candid words to Fierhart off Mic. For now, he and Xander were outdone. But later that night would be another story. The scene goes into the next segment.
