Jeff is seen backstage fooling a grueling match versus Ethan Bain. A match that Jeff was pretty much dominated in. He's approached by Backstage interviewer Fabiola, who hits the chord on Jeff's XWA debut.
"Jeff Heaven, tonight you called out one of XWA's best. And the man that answered the call was Ethan Bain, who took you, it would seem, to your limits. Think it was a bad idea?"
A bad idea? What? Are your freaking serious? Oh...wait. I get it. This is supposed to be the part where I pitch a hissy fit and say it was fluke, right? Sorry to disappoint you, "Fabs". That's not how Jeff Heaven gets down. Tonight, I came out to the ring lookin' for a fight. And what I got was a lesson in just how talented Ethan Bain really is. Tonight, he showed me why he's deserving of being as hyped as he is. Why he's deserving of being called the 2007 rookie of the year of XWA. He's the real goods. What can I say?
Jeff turns his focus to the camera that accompanied Fabiola.
But do I think it was a bad idea? HELL NO. I don't have bad ideas. I don't make excuses. Tonight, Bain was better. But that's tonight. Earlier tonight, when I made my challenge, I said something that I don't quite think got over, so I'll say it again. And that's that beating Jeff Heaven, is only half the battle. Because you better damn well believe that I'll be looking to see if it was just an off night, or you are in fact better. So Bain. Consider this another challenge. You and me. Next week. I got to see what "The Big Ticket" was made of tonight. Next week, YOU get to see why the call me "The Modern Day Legend". I'll be waitin' to hear from you.
Jeff shots a piercing gaze at Fabiola, and then walks out of the camera's view.
"We'll try to catch up with Ethan Bain to get his reaction to Heaven's comments. Back to Buzz & Roach at ringside"
