Okay... Season opener. It left a bad taste in her mouth how her 2007 ended. Gritted her teeth as her music hit the PA System, the ever familiar sound of Last Legal Drug (Le Petite Mort) by KoRn. The crowd went into an eruption of cheers and out from the black curtain of doom, well, doom to some, stepped the one and only, Zoe Nedermeyer. Sporting a pink jacket with the hoodie down and always, always, sporting her aviator goggles. A microphone in her hand she pumped her fists to the crowd which sent them in a further wave of cheers. She smirked and began her walk down the ring, slapping a few hands on her way with her left hand. Hopping up on the apron once she reached it she looked out to the crowd before stepping through the ring and moving to the center of the ring, she turned to face the stage, doing a cutthroat motion with her hands and the music soon died. She rose the microphone to her mouth and looked to one side of the arena.
"Whats up Newark?!"
Instant pop. Its a cheap one, but its an effective one. She smiled. It was the only thing that she COULD do. The fans loved her and she in return, loved them. There were a few haters out there. No matter HOW good you are, there is ALWAYS going to be a hater or two.
"Now, I don't know about you guys, but I'm damn glad the 2008 Season has finally arrived. I'm pumped. I'm ready. My adrenaline is going through the roof and I haven't even gotten in a match yet! Last season didn't exactly end well for me, took a loss in the grandest one of them all as it were. But thats okay, I can rectify this. I can turn that around with a good start into the 2008 Season.
I've been doing nothing but training. Now, I know everyone's probably got a crack about all work and no play makes Zoe a very dull girl and hey, you might be right, but I was left with a bad taste in my mouth, losing off a suplex to Kiss. I wouldn't have minded if she nailed me with her specialty... But a suplex? A move you learn to take and give in the early goings in training? I let myself down with that shit. Hell, Dru probably shook his damn head at it. I don't know if he did or not. Ain't talked to him.
As for you Kiss?
...
It may not happen right now, but Kiss? I'm challenging you again in the future, I want you to keep that in mind. We're tied up, we've got to get a breaker in. But for right now? For this show? I need a challenger. So any woman in the back that's free... March your ass out here and lets get this thing sealed. I don't care if you're Marx or if your Valentine. I want a challenge for the show and I want it now... So come on! Whoever wants it! Lets give these Newark fans a damn good show eh?!"
The crowd, once again went into a wave of cheers as Zoe lowered the microphone and paced back and forth in the dead center, halfway mark, of the ring, from rope to rope, as she kept her eyes locked on the stage. Watching and waiting.
